RACE 1 – POPPA’S FUDGE FACTORY PACE – 1720 metres

FIRST FOUR LETTERS – Raced roughly after the start.

FATHERSDAYSURPRISE – Approaching the 1350 metres broke for which a warning was issued.

SYENITE – Approaching the 1350 metres was checked as a result of FATHERSDAYSURPRISE breaking gait. Raced roughly from the 600 metres.

NO ALIBI NZ – A pre and post-race veterinary examination was conducted due to the horse not having competed for in excess of 12 months. Both examinations failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities. Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.

 

RACE 2 – SWSBANK PACE – 1720 metres

CARIBBEAN PAT – Held up for clear running and not fully tested.

PENCIL ME IN – Over raced through the middle stages of the event. Post-race swab sample.

MICTON MOUSE – Pre-race blood sample. Held up in the early stages of the home straight.

 

RACE 3 – TURNER’S FURNITURE ONE PACE – 1720 metres

LINE ME UP BRO NZ – Held up for clear running and not fully tested.

GABBYS SPORTSTAR - A pre and post-race veterinary examination was conducted due to the gelding having competed in excess of 200 race starts. Both examinations failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities. Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.

PADDY MACH - A pre and post-race veterinary examination was conducted due to the gelding having competed in excess of 200 race starts. Both examinations failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.

 

RACE 4 – ARMA INSURANCE BROKERS PACE – 1720 metres

MCLEAN – Hung in when under pressure.

MIRADOR LASS – Pre-race blood sample.

ARK ALERT – Over raced throughout the event.

TISBURY ROCKS NZ – Post-race swab sample.

 

RACE 5 – AUSTRALIAN HOTEL PACE – 1720 metres

ALICE ON THE BEACH – Post-race swab sample.

KOZACZYNSKI – Over raced throughout the event.

ONE STUNIN MELODY – Gave ground over the concluding stages to be beaten 42.4 metres.

IRK MCGLURK – Trainer Driver Jake Betts was questioned in regards to the overall performance where after starting $2.40 favourite the gelding failed to run on over the concluding stages to be finish in 7^th position beaten 33.5 metres. Mr Betts explained in the early stages of the event he was caught in a three wide position and elected to move forward and from that point on he was obliged to race outside the leader which is not the standard racing pattern of IRK MCGLURK.

LIFE GETS BETTER – Galloped out for which a warning was issued.

WEENEEDDREAMS – Pre-race blood sample.

LETSTACOBOUTIT – Driver Dean Cernovskis was fined $200 under Rue 156(2)(a) for applying the whip in more than a wrist only flicking motion when passing the 200 metres.

 

RACE 6 – QUAYLE MILLING PACE – 2100 metres

BARKWAY THOMAS – Galloped out for which a warning was issued.

COOP DE RED – Pre-race blood sample. Obtained an inside run as a result of MERRYWOOD MARY hanging out under pressure. Post-race swab sample.

MERRYWOOD MARY – Hung out throughout the event before hanging out under pressure in the home straight permitting COOP DE RED to obtain a run to the inside of that mare for which a warning was issued.

ILEANA – Inconvenienced after the start as a result of BARKWAY THOMAS breaking gait.

 

RACE 7 – SOUTHWEST TRACTORS PACE – 1720 metres

SUNNYWITHACHANCE – Galloped out for which a warning was issued.

GLENN FORD NZ - A pre and post-race veterinary examination was conducted due to the gelding having competed in excess of 200 race starts. Both examinations failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities. Held up in the early stages of the home straight.

HILLVIEW SAM – Pre-race blood sample.

STARS ABROAD – Checked and broke after the start as a result of SUNNYWITHACHANCE galloping out.

HES A TERROR - A pre and post-race veterinary examination was conducted due to the horse having competed in excess of 200 race starts. Both examinations failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities. Checked and broke after the start as a result of SUNNYWITHACHANCE galloping out.

GOODTIME JAZZI – Post-race swab sample.

 

RACE 8 – DOWNLOAD THE TAB APP PACE – 2100 metres
