RACE 1 – SKY RACING ACTIVE PACE – 1609 metres
MISTER BRILLANTE – Held up for clear running over the concluding stages and not fully tested. 
ARTFUL PRINCE – Pre-race sample was taken. 
BRING YOUR BEST – Held up for clear running over the concluding stages and not fully tested. 
BODYLINE – Post-race sample was taken. 
JUSTAWARRIOR – Held up for clear running over the concluding stages and not fully tested. 
 
RACE 2 – CHADDIES ON WATT ST PACE – 2030 metres
ERROL FIN – Post-race sample was taken. 
WAR WESTERN – Driver B Elder was fined the sum of $50 under rule 162(1)(h) for failing to come up into position prior to the start being affected.
PLAYA BLANCA – Pre-race sample was taken. 
 
RACE 3 – LAMBTON LEGENDS PACE – 1609 metres
OUR ULTAMATE JESSY – Post-race sample was taken. 
MISTER POVERTY – Pre-race sample was taken.  Had difficulty obtaining clear running over the concluding stages.
OUR IDEAL DREAM NZ – Pre-race sample was taken. 
ROCK FISHERMAN – Examined pre and post-race by the veterinarian with no abnormalities reported. 
 
RACE 4 – TOOHEYS PACE – 1609 metres
ROCKINDOWNUNDER – Pre-race sample was taken.  Had a tendency to over race whilst leading during the middle stages.  Post-race sample was taken. 
COUNTRY MAJOR – When questioned regarding the tactics adopted driver T Ison explained that it was intentions to drive less aggressively in the event due to not wanting to be caught racing in a position without cover outside of the leader.  He further added that if a draw favoured moving forward would continue to drive in a forward position.  
WALLAROY BOY – Examined pre and post-race by the veterinarian with no abnormalities reported. 
SMOOTH ROLLING – When questioned regarding the performance driver J Osborn explained that after being crossed coming to the winning post with a lap remaining failed to travel from that point and was somewhat disappointing over the concluding stages.  A post-race veterinary examination could not reveal any abnormalities. 
MAJOR MICKEY – Held up for clear running over the concluding stages and not fully tested.
VALIANT CHARGER – Examined pre and post-race by the veterinarian with no abnormalities reported. 
 
RACE 5 – GARRARDS HORSE AND HOUND PACE – 1609 metres
ROYAL GAMBLE NZ – Pre-race sample was taken.  
SUNDAY MORNINGS – Hampered as the field approached the 800 metres.
AMERICAN WEREWOLF – Checked as the field passed the 800 metres.
NEVER KNOW CHARLIE – Hampered as the field passed the 800 metres.
ABSTRACT ART – Driver D Murphy was fined the sum of $200 under rule 168(1)(a) for failing to have suitable control of his runner approaching the 800 metres whereas a result hung in slightly whilst over-racing and contacted the near side sulky wheel of MISTER CHEESE resulting in a puncture in addition to his own runner breaking stride.
MISTER CHEESE – Sustained a contact to the near side wheel resulting in a puncture placing it at a disadvantage over the concluding stages.
PURE GRUNT – Post-race sample was taken. 
 
RACE 6 – AVE TECHNOLOGIES 2YO PACE – 1609 metres
AGATHA BLOOM – Pre-race sample was taken.  Had a tendency to hang in prior to entering the home straight for the run to the finish and contacted marker pegs.
ONEDINS CRUSADE – Upon request from connections approval was given it to be re-included into the mobile barrier draw.
FAVOURED GRACE – Had a tendency to hang in rounding the final turn and contacted marker pegs.
DEVIOUS MINDS – Post-race sample was taken. 
 
RACE 7 – SHARP OFFICE PACE – 1609 metres
FEISTY TIGER – Pre-race sample was taken. 
CONCILIATE – Tightened for racing room shortly after the start was affected and was caught racing in a three wide position before working forward to the lead coming to the home straight on the first occasion.
CAPTAIN GROVE – Tightened for a short distance shortly after the start was affected then continued to hang in from that point and broke stride for a short distance entering the first turn.  A warning was issued.  Post-race sample was taken. 
A LITTLE DILEMMA – Driver J Osborn was reprimanded under rule 163(1)(a)(iii) in that shortly after the start was affected when making a forward move closed down the track towards the marker pegs and placed CAPTAIN GROVE (B Elder) in restricted racing room and in turn CONCILIATE (R Alchin) in restricted racing room.
 
RACE 8 – THE TAB APP MAIDEN PACE – 2030 metres
BEE MY LOVER – Pre-race sample was taken.  
SWEET ANNE LOUISE – Driver A Bourke was fined the sum of $100 under rule 162(1)(y) for failing to adhere to the minimum time standards for the first half of the last mile.
MISS ADONIS – Driver D Morgan was fined $50 under rule 162(1)(h) for failing to come up into position prior to the start being affected.
MAGIC ROCK – Had a tendency to over race whilst racing outside of the leader and compounded over the concluding stages to be beaten a considerable distance.  A post-race veterinary examination could not reveal any abnormalities.  Driver M Chapple explained to Stewards that he was of the opinion that his runner had choked down.  Connections were advised it would be stood down until it can requalify on one occasion. 
BETWEEN DECKS – When questioned regarding the performance driver R Morris explained that after sitting in a rearward position during the early stages of the event which were run at a slow tempo elected to move around the field in an attempt to gain the lead position however was caught racing in the position outside of the leader down the back straight and shortly thereafter his run had come to an end and failed to continue over the concluding stages and was somewhat disappointing. 
ADDED VALUE – Checked as the field raced down the back straight when trailing weaking runners.
