RACE 1 – BATHURST TOYOTA 3YO PACE – 1730 metres
BETTOR BRILLIANCE – Gave ground from the 700m to finish in 8th position beaten 41.2m.
LOYAL LOU NZ – Post-race swab.
GIFTED BRIGADE NZ – Hung inwards after the start was effected despite the drivers’ efforts Inconveniencing CHANCEUX which was trailing. GIFTED BRIGADE NZ will now be excluded from the barrier draw in future mobile start events. In taking this action Stewards were mindful the mare was placed on its last chance in the draw three (3) start prior.
MOTHER WAS A MUDDA – Trainer Nathan Turnbull was fined the sum of $50 under AHR Rule 210 for the late declaration of the driver upon the gelding.
SEVEN TEE TWO – Inconvenienced passing the 700m when BETTOR BRILLIANCE commended to give ground.
CHANCEUX – Pre-race swab. Inconvenienced after the start was effected when GIFTED BRIGADE NZ hung inwards.
RACE 2 – HYNASH GROUP BATHURST PACE – 2260 metres
CRUNCHIE DIVA – Hung outwards rounding the final turn.
JOANS RISING STAR NZ – Pre-race swab. Hung outwards rounding the final turn.
SWEET NATE – Hung outwards over the final 1000m. Post-race swab.
GRAFFITI LANE – Underwent pre-race veterinary examinations due to the gelding becoming fractious in the tie up stalls. No abnormalities detected and was passed fit to start.
TERRYRAMA – Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations due to the gelding having started in excess of 200 starts. Neither examination revealed any significant abnormalities.
RACE 3 – THANK YOU BRENDAN FROM BHRC MEMBER PACE – 1730 metres
LENNETH – Post-race swab.
MARY MOURNE NZ – ($14.00) Pre-race swab. Driver James Locke was queried into the overall performance of the mare which finished in 10th and last position beaten 14.6m after racing in a favourable running line position. Mr Locke advised the mare to be disappointing and would derive benefit from the performance after an extended period since racing. Raced roughly passing the 400m & again under pressure in the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.

RACE 4– THE TAB APP PACE – 1730 metres
MISTERFOURTHOUSAND – Pre-race swab. Driver Jett Turnbull pleaded guilty to a charge under AHR Rule 163(1)(a)(iii) the particulars of the charge being Mr Turnbull permitted MISTERFOURTHOUSAND when leading to shift outwards upon straightening into the racing line of DUN SPRUIKIN resulting in contact to the hind leg of DUN SPRUIKIN which broke gait. In assessing penalty Stewards considered the HRNSW Penalty Guidelines, placing particular weight on Mr Turnbull’s guilty plea the degree of interference & carelessness which was assessed low & his overall offence record which indicated Mr Turnbull to have over 1700 drives this being his second offence under this rule with last offence in February 2025 (669) drives. Mr Turnbull was suspended for a period of seven (7) days commencing midnight 16th November 2025.
DUN SPRUIKIN – Checked & broke gait when MISTERFOURTHOUSAND shifted outwards passing the 200m.
FAY IRENE – Post-race swab.
RACE 5 – BHRC MEMBERS BADGE DRAW TONIGHT $4090 PACE – 1730 metres
HES CHIMING – Hung outwards under pressure upon straightening.
JAYJAYBENNY – Pre-race swab.
FIRESTORM RED – Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations due to the gelding having started in excess of 200 starts. Neither examination revealed any significant abnormalities.
BETTER SHUSH – Driver Ella Turnbull was spoken to in the manner she applied the whip to the gelding in the home straight.
SAINT VERAN – Post-race swab.
RACE 6 – BREED TO SUCCEED AT SUCCESS STUD 2YO PACE – 1730 metres
STAY TEMPTED – Pre-race swab. Trainer Brad Hewitt was fined the sum of $50 under AHR Rule 268A(1) for presenting the filly in gear which was not correctly declared. Broke gait shortly after the start was effected. Inconveniencing KINGS FURY which was trailing. STAY TEMPTED will now be excluded from the barrier draw from future mobile start events. Broke its offside hopple connecting strap after breaking gait and retired from the event. The gear was inspected by Stewards & found to be of sound quality.
TROUBLE IN ME – Raced roughly inside the final 200m.
AFTERSHOCK – Trainer David Hewitt was fined the sum of $50 under AHR Rule 210 for the late declaration of the driver upon the gelding.
COWBOY CULTURE – Post-race swab.
KINGS FURY – Inconvenienced after the start when STAY TEMPTED broke gait. Hung inwards under pressure.
RACE 7 – LLOWALONG FARMS WHERE CHAMPIONS ARE MADE PACE – 1730 metres
MCSIREN – Pre-race swab.
MOVES LIKE MIKI – Raced greenly during the score up and was out of position when the start was effected. A warning was issued against MOVES LIKE MIKI barrier manners.
OUR SAFARI STAR – Hung inwards during the latter stages of the score up broke gait shortly after the start was effected. OUR SAFARI STAR will now be excluded from the barrier draw in future mobile start events. Broke gait clear of interference passing the 400m. OUR SAFARI STAR will now be stood down from racing until trialling to the satisfaction of stewards on one (1) occasion.
CALM FRANCO – Held up and failed to gain clear running for the entire length of the home straight.
COME ON SHANNON – Raced roughly upon passing the finish line when being eased down. Post-race swab. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed the gelding to be lame in the near hind leg. COME ON SHANNON received precautionary treatment on course and was referred to undergo further veterinary treatment & X-Rays. COME ON SHANNON will now be stood down from racing pending a veterinary clearance. Trainer Peter Bullock advised Stewards X-Rays revealed COME ON SHANNON to have sustained fractures to the pastern bone due to the extent of the injury & acting on veterinary advise COME ON SHANNON was humanely euthanized.
EMILYS PRINCE – Out of position when the start was effected. EMILYS PRINCE will continue to be exclude from the barrier draw in future mobile start events.
RACE 8 – BATHURST RSL CLUB PACE – 2260 metres
MEANT TO BE SLOY – Pre-race swab.
BABY YOURE THE ONE – ($3.00) Driver Isobel Ross was queried into the overall performance of the filly which finished in 8th position after racing outside the leader throughout the event. Ms Ross attributed the performance to the filly pulling hard for majority of the event to be the main factor to its performance. Ms Ross advised that the stable would undertake gear alterations to prevent any reoccurrence going forward. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the filly to have a delayed recovery.
