RACE 1 – ULTRA AIR TROTTERS MOBILE – 1609 metres
General – A false start was declared at the first attempt when LA VOLONTE galloped, veered in and contacted the sulky of ORIA (Z Fitzpatrick). As a result, driver Z Fitzpatrick was dislodged from the sulky before ORIA continued driverless and made heavy contact with the mobile barrier, ORIA was then shortly after captured by the Clerk of the Course. A veterinary examination revealed the filly to have superficial abrasions to the head area and was withdrawn by Order of Stewards on veterinary advice at 1:36pm. Driver Z Fitzpatrick was examined by the on-course ambulance and passed suitable to fulfil her remaining drives.
COLTRANE – Galloped after the start however given the delay the gelding was placed on its last chance in the mobile barrier draw.
MAJESTIC FUNDS – Galloped after the start however given the delay the colt was placed on its last chance in the mobile barrier draw.
ORIA – Declared a late scratching at 1:36pm by Order of Stewards acting on veterinary advice after becoming driverless and contacting the mobile barrier in the first attempt of the score up.

CHIEF RUNNINGCLOUD – Post-race sample.
WE CAN HAVE IT ALL – Galloped in the score up and was out of position at the start. WE CAN HAVE IT ALL will continue to be placed outside the mobile barrier draw.
LA VOLONTE – Galloped at the first attempt of the score up, veered in and contacted ORIA, dislodging the driver of that runner. LA VOLONTE will continue to be placed right outside the mobile barrier draw. Galloped free of interference at the 800m and again at the 400m. LA VOLONTE was stood down until the completion of one satisfactory trial. A post-race veterinary examination of the gelding revealed it to have mild superficial lacerations to the left hind cannon.
RACE 2 – WOODLANDS STUD INDUSTRY DRIVEN! PACE – 1609 metres
COMPLETE STRANGER – Inconvenienced and locked wheels in the vicinity of the 400m when CALA SERENA hung in, racing to the outside.
KELLYS COLOURS – Hung in at the 300m for a short distance.
COCOS DESIRE – Paced roughly at the 300m.
CALA SERENA – Trainer R Alchin was fined $50 under Rule 210 for the late driving notification of B McDonough. Hung in and locked wheel with COMPLETE STRANGER in the vicinity of the 400m.
HEZA CASANOVA – Pre-race sample.
FORGIVE AND FORGET – Post-race sample. Hung out and was out of position in the score up and at the start. FORGIVE AND FORGET will continue to be placed outside the mobile barrier draw.
MIRA DOMINA – Trainer R Alchin was fined $50 under Rule 210 for the late driving notification of D Murphy. Trainer R Alchin was fined $50 under Rule 268A(1) for failing to have gear notified for this runner.
RACE 3 – BETTORS WISH STANDING AT COBBITTY EQUINE FARM TROTTERS MOBILE – 1609 metres
AFFAIRE DE COVER – Pre-race sample.
HES A HAMMER – Galloped in the score up, was out of position at the start and a warning was issued. Trailed the field for the entire.
OH NOVA LOVE NZ – Hung in under pressure over the concluding stages before galloping free of interference. OH NOVA LOVE NZ was stood down until the completion of one satisfactory trial. It was reported post-race that the gelding lost a bell boot during the event.
SUNSET HILL NZ – Post-race sample. Trainer KA Morris was fined $50 under Rule 268A(1) for failing to have gear for the gelding notified.
MACKEL SONNY – Out of position at the start and will continue to be placed outside the mobile barrier draw. Galloped clear of interference at the 500m was stood down until the completion of one satisfactory trial.
RACE 4 –PRYDE’S PROTEINPAK PACE – 1609 metres
ALL NIGHT LONG NZ – Driver C Fitzpatrick was approved as a late driving replacement due to Driver N Zbiljic being indisposed due to illness. Driver N Zbiljic was advised he would require a medical clearance prior to driving again. Hung out under pressure in the home straight on the final occasion after leading.

HYKEEPMEPOSTED – Post-race sample.
RACE 5 – THE CORDINA GROUP PACE – 1609 metres
CARIBBEAN RUNA – ($4.00/ beaten 24m/ 8th position) Driver C Hart explained that connections were slightly disappointed with the performance of the mare. Mr Hart added that the early work in a quick quarter of 26.9 seconds, may have placed CARIBBEAN RUNA at a disadvantage and added that connections may restrict the mares racing to Penrith, where it has performed well previously.
BENTLY BULLET – ($3.60 fav/ beaten 23m/ 7th position) Driver Z Fitzpatrick explained BENTLY BULLET over-raced in the early stages which meant the gelding did run a faster than normal first half, when leading, which may not have suited BENTLY BULLET to finish the race off competitive.
DANICING WITH MY EX – Pre-race sample.
REIGN MAKER – Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations due to the gelding
starting in excess of 200 race starts. Neither examination revealed any abnormalities.
WILL I AM – Trainer K Towers was fined $50 under Rule 210 for the late driving of KA Morris.

RACE 6 – SUCCESS STUD – SPELLING HORSE SERVICES PACE – 1609 metres
BEARHUNTA – Post-race sample.
HEIDSIECK NZ – Pre-race sample. Trainer KA Morris was fined $50 under Rule 268A(1) for failing to have gear for the gelding recorded. Held up in the early stages of the home straight for clear racing room.
TIGERLICIOUS – Held up for clear racing room and unable to be fully tested in the run to the finish.
RACE 7 – WARDS ACCOUNTING GROUP PACE – 1609 metres
BANKSY NZ – Held up for clear racing room in the early stages of the home straight.
GOODTIME LIBBY – Pre-race sample. Post-race sample.

RACE 8 – MENANGLE PARK GLENLEE COMMUNITY PACE – 1609 metres
HARMONY – Trainer D Elder was fined $50 under Rule 268A(1) for failing to have gear recorded for the gelding.

OUTSIDE FIGHTER – Pre-race sample. Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations due to the gelding starting in excess of 200 race starts. Neither examination revealed any abnormalities.
