ZACHARY SHANNON – Driver Travis Bullock was questioned in regard to his driving tactics, of particular concern was Mr Bullock’s decision to challenge for the lead in a fast 26.9 first quarter before giving ground over the concluding stages to be beaten 27.1 metres. Mr Bullock explained he felt after working forward to the position outside the leader that the lead may have been available for his runner and elected to challenge for the lead however approaching the 1100 metres it was clear the lead wasn’t available and at that stage Mr Bullock eased his runner. Stewards believed Mr Bullock erred in his judgement in electing to push forward with vigour but not culpable to the degree to warrant any further action be taken.
