RACE 1 – THE TAB APP PACE – 1740 metres

DANIBOY - A pre and post-race veterinary examination was conducted due to the horse having not competed for in excess of 12 months. Both examinations failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.

READY TO DREAM NZ – Broke rounding the first turn for which a warning was issued.

BETTOR JAX NZ – Inconvenienced as a result of READY TO DREAM NZ breaking gait.

WRONG ANSWER - Pre-race blood sample.

 

RACE 2 – YIRRIBEE STUD PACE – 1740 metres

SNIPERS FIRE – Post-race swab sample.

FEAR THE POWER - Pre-race blood sample. Driver Jackson Painting was questioned on the performance of the gelding, after having a favourable run on the marker pegs FEAR THE POWER failed to run on and finished in 10th position beaten 28.6 metres. Mr Painting stated the gelding failed to travel well through the run and was disappointing. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.

MARLO MAREAU - At the request of connections will now be reincluded into the mobile barrier draw.

 

RACE 3 – ATWORTHY PARK 2YO PACE – 1740 metres

BROOKLYNS GEM – Commenced to tire from the 700 metres before being beaten 86 metres. In view of the performance, the filly was placed on its last chance to race truly. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a poor post-race recovery.

NEPTUNITE – Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.

FLOPPA – Trainer Wayne Potter was fined $50 under Rule 268A(1) for failing to notify any gear for the colt.

GOOD TALK - Inconvenienced approaching the 600 metres as a result of BROOKLYNS GEM tiring. At the request of connections will now be reincluded into the mobile barrier draw.

 

RACE 4 – SETTLERS VILLAGE PACE – 1740 metres

CULLECT A STARR – It was reported post-race the mare dropped both knee boots. Commenced to tire from the 700 metres to finish in 10th placing beaten 102.5 metres. Given the overall performance of CULLECT A STARR the mare will be required to perform one requalifying trial.

ATOMIC BLACK - Pre-race blood sample.

MAGGIE MOTH – Held up in the early stages of the home straight before gaining clear running passing the 100 metres.

WE DEALIN DIAMONDS – Raced roughly approaching the 400 metres. Post-race swab sample.

BOUND FOR TROUBLE – Out of position at the start for which a warning was issued.

 

RACE 5 – BENSTUD STANDARDBRED PACE – 1740 metres

KRISTYSGIRL – Post-race swab sample.

PIRANI PRINCESS - Pre-race blood sample.

UNCHAINMYART – Broke after the start for which a warning was issued.

IM HARVEY SPECTRE NZ – Inconvenienced after the start when UNCHAINMYART broke gait.

THE BANKER NZ - Inconvenienced after the start when UNCHAINMYART broke gait. At the request of connections will now be reincluded into the mobile barrier draw.

 

RACE 6 – CAMPBELLS COMMENTS PACE – 2270 metres

KOBES CHAINSAW – Post-race swab sample.

MASTER GOUDA – Driver Roger Strong was advised to exercise more care as a result of shifting down to the marker pegs in advance of RENROW BOY placing that runner into restricted room before the pace eased.

SIGNIFICANT LAZ – Held up in the home straight and was not fully tested.

BRAEBEACH NZ - Pre-race blood sample.

RENROW BOY – Broke in the score up for which a warning was issued. Inconvenienced rounding the first turn as a result of MASTER GOUDA shifting from the running line to the marker pegs in advance of RENROW BOY and then the pace easing from the event. Held up entering the home straight and raced roughly when shifting wider into clear running. Held up inside the final 50 metres.

 

RACE 7 – VALE MICK MULLINS – 1740 metres

STITCHED UP DAN – Trainer Russell Jack was fined $50 under Rule 210 for failing to advise Ky Bloomfield as the Driver of the mare by the prescribed time.

TIZZY LIZZIE – Hung in rounding the final turn.

WEONA MISS MIKI – Post-race swab sample.

NO ALIBI NZ – Broke after the start for which a warning was issued.

BUBBY TO BASE - Pre-race blood sample.

 

RACE 8 – MEDOWIE LODGE PACE – 1740 metres

VIN NUMBER Post-race swab sample.

SCARED STIFF NZ - Pre-race blood sample. Held up in the early stages of the home straight before gaining clear running approaching the 100 metres

PAS GAURANTEE – Worked forward to the position outside the lead before giving ground over the concluding stages to be beaten 15.9 metres into 7th position.

SKITTLE BOMB NZ - Inconvenienced passing the 250 metres as a result of PAS GUARANTEE giving ground. At the request of connections will now be reincluded into the mobile barrier draw.
