RACE 1 – HARVEY’S NEWCASTLE PAC E- 1906 metres

WOT DYA RECKON – Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.

 

RACE 2 – MAX ALLOY PACE – 1609 metres

ROUGE BLING – Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.

CHEDDAR VALLEY NZ – Held up and unable to obtain clear running at any stage in the home straight and went to the finish without being tested.

ROCKTAGONAL - Held up and unable to obtain clear running at any stage inside the 200 metres and went to the finish without being tested.

 

RACE 3 – HARRY POTTER WARATAH HEAT – 1609 metres

SPIRIT KING – Pre-race blood sample.

NIFTY STUDLEIGH – Passed required pre- and post-race veterinary examinations.

ILLAWONG DANNY – post-race swab sample.

TAFL MOVE – Broke stride free of any external factors near the 400 metres. Connections were advised that prior to racing again the gelding must perform tractably in an official qualifying trial.

SPUNKYS GOTSECRETS – Broke stride during the score up and galloped for a short distance. Connections were advised that a warning would be placed on the gelding’s racing record.

 

RACE 4 – WOOLASTON SHEDS PACE – 2030 metres

SWEET ROCKY – Pre-race blood sample.

GISSELLE – post-race swab sample.

OUTMAZING NZ – Held up for a considerable distance in the early part of the home straight and was unable to be fully tested.

ONETANGI GIRL NZ – Held up and unable to obtain clear running at any stage inside the 200 metres and went to the finish without being tested.

 

RACE 5 – HARVEY’S NEWCASTLE PACE – 1609 metres

ALWAYS THUNDER – Broke stride and galloped for some distance in the early part of the score up. Trainer/driver Mr S Grima was advised that a warning would be placed on the gelding’s racing record.

KAYSANS ROCK NZ – Weakened noticeably inside the 500 metres and tailed the field. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. Connections were advised that a warning for poor performance would be placed on the gelding’s racing record.

LIGHT ME UP NZ – Pre-race blood sample. Broke stride free of any external factors approaching the turn after the start. Connections were advised that a warning would be placed on the gelding’s racing record.

APPLIED NZ – Had to be steadied momentarily and became unbalanced when racing tight between SAINT CRUSADER which shifted in despite the efforts of its driver and BUSHY BEACH NZ, which shifted out when not quite clear, in search of clear running.

RACE 6 – COOPER HOLSTEIN’S BIRTHDAY PACE – 1609 metres

GO TESS GO – Held up for a considerable distance in the early part of the home straight, then had to be steadied and shifted out inside the 100 metres to be driven forward.

RESERVE BANK NZ – When questioned in relation to the performance driver J Gallagher explained, that it was his intention to obtain a position on the marker peg line either in the lead or with cover. He said that after being unable to achieve this RESERVE BANK NZ raced ungenerously outside the lead, hung out during sections of the race then could not improve when placed under pressure inside the 400 metres. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.

BLAZING HIGH – Driver R Morris was fined $50 under AR 162(1)(h), for failing to drive the colt into position at the start.

RACE 7 – CARNIVAL OF CUPS 5^TH DEC PACE – 1609 metres

WALLAROY BOY – Passed required pre- and post-race veterinary examinations.

ULTIMATE TROUBLE – Broke stride in the early stages of the score up and galloped for some distance. Connections were advised that the mare would now be placed outside the mobile barrier draw.

MADAZALWAYS – Passed required pre- and post-race veterinary examinations. Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.

KATLAS DREAM – Held up and unable to obtain clear running at any stage in the home straight and went to the finish without being tested.

 

RACE 8 – SKY RACING ACTIVE MAIDEN PACE – 1609 metres.

EXECUTIVE DECISIONS – Pre-race blood sample.

SIYA NZ – M Callaghan driver of SILENT FEARS, pleaded guilty to a charge under AR 163(1)(a)(iii), stating that inside the 150 metres he allowed SILENT FEARS to shift out when insufficiently clear of SIYA NZ, resulting in contact to the hind leg of SIYA NZ, which became unbalanced and had to be checked.  M Callaghan’s licence to drive in races was suspended for a period of seven days to commence on 8 December 2025 and expire on 15 December 2025, on which day he may drive.

PIXIEBELLE – Raced greenly for some distance after the start and shifted out abruptly approaching the first turn despite the efforts of its driver which caused ROOBEE to be hampered.

ROOBEE – Hung in when placed under pressure entering the home straight on the final occasion.

HOWITIS – post-race swab sample.

SEASIDE SATISFIED – Out of position at the start. Considering all the circumstances no action was taken.

ADDED VALUE – Out of position at the start. Considering all the circumstances no action was taken.

 

RACE 9 – THE TAB APP 3YO PACE – 1609 metres

NEEDY AN GREEDY – Pre-race blood sample.

VENOM HANOVER – Galloped away when the start was affected. Connections were advised that the colt would now be placed outside the mobile barrier draw.

WAMBOYNE MACHETE – Trainer Mr R Alchin was fined $50 under AR 210, for failing to declare A Delosa as the driver by the prescribed time. Post-race swab sample.

FOX TROT – Following required satisfactory performance connections were advised that the gelding would now be eligible to take its place in the mobile barrier draw.
