RACE 1 –  GLEN MIA (ACT) PTY LTD 2YO PACE– 1770 metres

NEED SOME TIME- Pre-race blood sample and post-race sample obtained.

BELLA ALCHERA- Broke during the score up, was out of position at the start, broke gait approaching the 1100 metres. Given this was the filly’s third race start, she was placed outside the draw and stood down from racing until the completion of one requalifying trial. Driver James Locke was spoken to regarding his helmet appearing loose in the home straight. As Mr Locke adjusted his helmet, BELLA ALCHERA shifted out momentarily checking IM NO STRANGER. Mr Locke was reprimanded under Rule 168(1)(a). Stewards noted that IM NO STRANGER also hung in during the straight which was a contributing factor.

BARA AUBREY Hung in after the first turn, contacting several marker pegs. Gave ground from the 500 metres before finishing in 6th position, beaten 66 metres. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities. Considering the filly’s performance and racing manners, she was stood down until the completion of one requalifying trial.

IM NO STRANGER Over-raced during the middle stages. Hung in approaching the 100 metres and was simultaneously checked when BELLA ALCHERA shifted out.

RACE 2-O'SULLIVAN ELECTRICAL PACE – 1770 metres

MOVINTOHELLANDBACK- Post-race swab sample obtained.

JAY CEE MAXWELL- Broke passing the 300 metres. Connections were advised JAY CEE MAXWELL would be stood down from racing until it can complete one satisfactory trial.

KOZACZYNSKI- Commenced to give ground from the 600 metres before finishing in 9th position, beaten 180 metres. Driver James Locke was questioned regarding the performance and could not provide an explanation. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. The gelding was stood down until the completion of one requalifying trial.

SASSY MIA- Checked passing the 600 metres as a result of KOZACZYNSKI giving ground.

RACE 3 – LERIDA ESTATE WINERY PACE1770 metres

JILLBY MOON- – Broke shortly after the start, checking SYENITE and BOUND FOR TROUBLE. A warning was issued. Held up rounding the home turn and in the early part of the straight.

SYENITE- Checked shortly after the start when JILLBY MOON broke gait.

SYNCOPATED SHUFFLE- Pre-race blood sample

MISTER WELLS- Post-race swab sample obtained.

BOUND FOR TROUBLRE- Checked shortly after the start as a result of JILLBY MOON braking gait.

RACE 4 – WATTY'S RURAL AND DOMESTIC FENCING PACE 1770 metres

MICTON MOUSE- Pre-race blood sample. Post-race sample obtained.

CAPITALLEE- Passing the 1000metres was checked by VALENTINI which broke gait.

VALENTINI- Pasing the 1000metres broke gait. A warning was issued.

RACE 5 – TWOMEYS ACCOUNTING & ADVISORY PACE 1770 metres

CHOCOLATE DELIGHT- Hung in approaching the 300metres contacted the sulky of PADDY MACH.

LETSGO MATILDA- Pre-race blood sample.

OUR ULTIMATE BONNY- Post race swab sample obtained.

PADDY MACH- Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations due to having started in excess of 200 races. No significant findings were reported. Inconvenienced approaching the 300 metres as a result of CHOCOLATE DELIGHT hanging in.

RACE 6 – DIFFERENTIAL & MECHANICAL SERVICES PACE – 1770 metres

MAJOR HUSS- Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations due to having started in excess of 200 races. No significant findings were reported.

DEEWHY- Hung out under pressure over the concluding stages of a race. A warning was issued. Post race swab sample obtained.

PLAYING FOR KEEPS- Pre-race blood sample. Held up rounding the home turn and in the early part of the straight.

MODERN SHEEN- Over raced during the middle stages

LINE UP BRO NZ- Over raced during the middle stages

RACE 7 OSKAR MEMORIALS XMAS CUP 2170m  

DONNIE MAC- Pre-race blood sample. Gave ground from the 600 metres before finishing in 9th position, beaten 99 metres. A post-race veterinary examination revealed abnormal respiration. Connections were advised the gelding would be stood down pending a veterinary certificate, endoscopic examination, and the completion of one requalifying trial.

FRESH PRINCE- Broke shortly after the start. Connections advised that a warning would be placed on the geldings record.

KIMCANDO- Post race swab sample.

RACE 8 WILSON RACING PACE 1770M

CAPTAIN DEEJAY- Post race swab sample.

MARYVILLE ALFIE- Commenced to give ground from the 500 metres before finishing in 10th position, beaten 104metres. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. The gelding was stood down until the completion of one requalifying trial

CHRISSY EVE- Pre-race blood sample.

TROUBE IN HEAVEN- Broke during the score out of position at the start. Connections were advised that the mare would continue out of the draw.
