RACE 1 – BUBBA GUMP PEST CONTROL PACE – 1609 metres

DOUBLE FEAR – Pre-race blood sample. 

HUTA NZ – Worked forward to the lead passing the 1100 metres.  Post-race swab sample.

UNFAZED NZ – Pre-race blood sample. 

DOUBLE ACT – Caught racing wide in the early stages of the event before working forward to the position outside the leader passing the 1200 metres.

RACE 2 – BESTINBEDS.COM.AU BRIAN HANCOCK FFA – 1609 metres

I BREAK THE LINE – Hung in under pressure and contacted a number of marker pegs over the concluding stages.

CYA ART NZ – Driver KerryAnn Morris pleaded guilty to a charge under Rule 156(2)(a), in that she applied the whip to the gelding in the home straight in a manner which was considered not to be a wrist only flicking motion.  After considering the recent record of Mrs Morris, she was fined $200.

PETES SAID SO NZ – Examined prior to and following the running of this event as the gelding has competed in excess of 200 race starts.  The examinations failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities. 

RIPP – Pre-race blood sample. 

UBETCHA TIGERPIE – Pre-race blood sample.  Stewards questioned driver Chris Geary with regards to the performance of the gelding.  Mr Geary advised he was disappointed with the performance however the gelding never appeared comfortable throughout the event and had a tendency to lay on the right rein.  A post-race veterinary examination of the gelding failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.  After considering the explanation provided by Mr Geary Stewards determined to note his comments.

CAPTAINS KNOCK – Worked forward to the lead passing the 1200 metres.  Post-race swab sample.

MAX DELIGHT – Caught racing wide in the early stages of the event before being restrained to a position in the running line passing the 1200 metres.

RACE 3 – ULTRA AIR PACE – 1609 metres

BOLD MEDLEY JUJON NZ – Pre-race blood sample.

ISLA ROCHELLE – Post-race swab sample.

MONTEFIORE NZ – Driver Matt Rue was fined $100 under Rule 158(1) for failing to fulfill his engagement as the driver of the gelding.

MIKI COHEN NZ – Pre-race blood sample.  Broke passing the 350 metres.  After considering the recent record of the gelding, a warning was issued.

TITIAN RAIDER – Caught racing wide in the early stages of the event before working forward to the position outside the leader passing the 1200 metres.

HUGO MAGUIRE NZ – Checked when MIKI COHEN NZ broke stride passing the 350 metres.

THALASSOPHOBIA – Checked when MIKI COHEN NZ broke stride passing the 350 metres.

RACE 4 – SUCCESS STUD TEENY TEENY STAKES – 1609 metres

CHARLIES ACE NZ – Pre-race blood sample.

MOP NZ – Pre-race blood sample.

IDEAL IN DREAMS – Post-race swab sample.

PET KITTY – Broke stride during the early stages of the score up and as a result was out of position at the start.  After considering the recent record of the mare, a warning was issued.

RACE 5 – CLUB MENANGLE ROD AND FRAN FITZPATRICK TATLOW STAKES (LISTED CLASSIC) – 1609 metres

UPTOWN CHANCE – Pre-race blood sample. 

LEXY – Worked forward to the lead passing the 1100 metres.

A BUCK TEN – Broke stride during the score up causing a false start to be necessitated when checking UPTOWN CHANCE.  Broke stride again on the second occasion and as a result was out of position at the start.  After considering the recent record of the colt, it was placed outside the mobile barrier draw.

MEANT TO BE SLOY – Contacted the off side sulky wheel of THIS IS HEAVEN passing the 1000 metres as a result of the pace slackening causing MEANT TO BE SLOY to race roughly.

HEZA CASANOVA – Broke stride passing the 1100 metres.  After considering the recent record of the gelding a warning was issued.

SHOWMETHETANLINES NZ – Pre-race blood sample. Trainer Adam Kelly was fined $100 under Rule 210 for the late notification of Bailey Mc Donough as the driver of the colt.  Pre-race blood sample.  Post-race swab sample.

OUR SAFARI STAR – Broke stride free of interference approaching the 400 metres.  After considering the recent record of the gelding, it was stood down for a period of 10 days and until the completion of two requalifying trials.

RACE 6 – APG PACING WITH EXCITEMENT 3YO STAKES – 1609 metres

CYNICAL – Pre-race blood sample.  Worked forward to the lead passing the 1300 metres.  Held up in the early stages of the home straight before gaining clear running passing the 200 metres.  Post-race swab sample.

TENMINUTES – Pre-race blood sample.  Hung in under pressure in the home straight.

SET UP - Driver Matt Rue was fined $100 under Rule 158(1) for failing to fulfill his engagement as the driver of the gelding.

OUR SWEET DELIGHT – Worked forward to the lead passing the 1200 metres.

RACE 7 – MULTIQUIP AGGREGATES TROTTERS MOBILE – 1609 metres

HOT TO TROT NZ – Broke after the start.  After considering the recent record of the gelding, a warning was issued.  Broke on multiple occasions throughout the event.  After considering the recent record of the gelding, it was stood down until the completion of one requalifying trial.

SHETWEB WEAVER – Pre-race blood sample.  Broke after the start.  After considering the recent record of the gelding, a warning was issued. 

THE LOCOMOTIVE – Pre-race blood sample.  Post-race swab sample.

SPEEDY LOVER – Back in the mobile barrier draw.

RACE 8 – SKY RACING PACE – 1609 metres

RIVERA LOU – Held up in the home straight and not fully tested.

ALTA SIERRA – Pre-race blood sample.  Worked forward to the lead passing the 1300 metres.  Post-race swab sample.

CARLO GAMBINO NZ – Pre-race blood sample.  Held up in the early stages of the home straight before gaining clear running passing the 100 metres.  Driver Jye Coney was reprimanded under Rule 163(1)(a)(iii) for causing interference, in that he commenced to shift his runner wider on the track passing the 100 metres when not sufficiently clear of FIRE FOX NZ causing FIRE FOX NZ and MAURLEN BOY to be inconvenienced.

MAURLEN BOY – Over raced through the middle stages of the event.  Inconvenienced passing the 100 metres when CARLO GAMBINO NZ was shifted wider on the track.

ITZMINEONTHELINE – Worked forward to the lead passing the 1100 metres.

FIRE FOX NZ – Inconvenienced passing the 100 metres when CARLO GAMBINO NZ was shifted wider on the track.
