RACE 1 – THE TAB APP PACE – 1980 metres

BULL SHARK – Pre-race blood sample.

SPOOKY ART – Hung in rounding the home turn and contacted marker pegs.

JACKYS MARIA – post-race swab sample.

 

RACE 2 – SKY RACING ACTIVE PACE – 1980 metres.

Trainer Mr I Mabbott was reprimanded AR41(a), for failing to present TASMANS DELIGHT at the day stalls by the prescribed time. After providing Mr Mabbott the specified allowance TASMANS DELIGHT was permitted to race.

TINTINS TREASURE – Pre-race blood sample.

SWEET ROCKY – Post-race swab sample.

 

RACE 3 – TAMWORTH RADIO CABS 131008 PACE – 1980 metres

BE GOOD BENNY – Passed required pre- and post-race veterinary examinations. Post-race swab sample.

HEAVENLY SONG – Pre-race blood sample.

 

RACE 4 – NORMIE MORAN MEMORIAL – 1980 metres

JEREMY LOU – Held up and unable to obtain clear running at any stage in the home straight and went to the finish without being tested.

BARRYS BROTHER – Post-race swab sample.

GIRLSGOTCURLS – Pre-race blood sample.

 

RACE 5 – PAM VERNING MEMORIAL – 1609 metres

MAKE MINE BETTOR – Had to be checked and broke stride during the score up when crowded by TWO CRACKED CORN.

TWO CRACKED CORN – Hung in during the score up and contacted MAKE MINE BETTOR causing a false start. Connections were advised that a warning would be placed on the mare’s racing record.

ANNIE CROCKER – Had to be shifted wider passing the 100 metres to continue to improve.

LIMOUSINE CHEEKY – Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.

ARTFUL PRINCE – Raced in restricted room approaching the home turn and in the early part of the straight and when attempting to obtain clear running jostled for a short distance with BRAVE BONDI.

YOU CANNOT HIDE – Out of position at the start. Connections were advised that the gelding would continue to be placed outside the mobile barrier draw.

 

RACE 6 – BARRY SCHIPP MEMORIAL – 1609 metres

MONTANA NIGHTS – Galloped away when the start was affected. Connections were advised that a warning would be placed on the gelding’s racing record.

ADRENALINE RUSH – Trainer/driver Mr A Varga was cautioned in relation to the manner that he applied the whip in the home straight.

NIFTY STUDLEY – Passed required pre- and post-race veterinary examinations. Unable to obtain completely clear running in the home straight and went to the finish without being fully tested.

OUR FIRE AND DELIGHT NZ – Post-race swab sample.

ROCKET BOY – Pre-race blood sample. Pulled hard during the early and middle stages, then raced in restricted room approaching the home turn.

 

RACE 7 – PUB GROUP MEETING – TUE NIGHT 13TH JANUARY PACE – 1980 metres

LULLABY NZ – Post-race swab sample.

ROCKTAGONAL – Pre-race blood sample. Raced roughly during the score up and for a short distance after the start and lost ground. Connections were advised that a warning would be placed on the gelding’s racing record.

GROSESTAR – Passed required pre- and post-race veterinary examinations.

THOMAS ROYAL – Hampered for a short distance after the start when racing behind ROCKTAGONAL.

NIGHT TO REMEMBER – Broke stride free of any external factors rounding the turn after the start and galloped for a short distance. Connections were advised that a warning would be placed on the mare’s racing record.

 

RACE 8 – COUNTRY AT THE TRACK – FRIDAY 23RD JANUARY PACE – 1609 metres

ALLSOPP – post-race swab sample.

PURE DRAGON – Raced in restricted room rounding the home turn and in the early part of the home straight.

IM LORD TOMMY – Pre-race blood sample.
