RACE 7 – RIVERINA STOCKFEEDS PACE – 1720 metres

General – Prior to the declaration of all-clear on this race, Stewards reviewed the patrol footage to ascertain whether YA RACIN BELLA which had been placed first past the post, had obtained an unfair advantage by taking a run where there was insufficient room to the inside of BILLS SWAN SONG in the home straight. After viewing the footage Stewards were of the view that while YA RACIN BELLA had contacted a marker peg near the 100 metres, there was sufficient room for it to obtain a run to the inside of BILLS SWAN SONG shortly after entering the home straight and the mare had shifted-in further under pressure after obtaining that run, and all-clear was given on the judge’s numbers.

YA RACIN BELLA – Contacted a marker peg near the 100 metres after obtaining a run to the inside of BILLS SWAN SONG. Post-race swab sampled.

LAST FLITE – Held up for clear running for the majority of the home straight.
