RACE 1 – CATTLEWASH AT YIRRIBEE PACING STUD PACE – 1730 metres

TULHURST TIMMY – Driver P Betts was cautioned on her continuous whip use in the home straight on the final occasion. Post-race swab sample.

DUFFY HOLLOW NZ – Broke stride shortly after the start. A warning was issued. The gelding took no competitive part in the race.

CLASSIC ARC – Pre and post-race veterinary examination as the gelding has had over 200 race starts. No abnormalities were detected on either examination. Despite the efforts of its driver was out of position at the start. A warning was issued. Inconvenienced shortly after the start as a result of DUFFY HOLLOW NZ breaking stride and shifting out.

THE HANDSOME ONE – Pre-race blood sample.

GABBYS SPORTSTAR - Pre and post-race veterinary examination as the gelding has had over 200 race starts. No abnormalities were detected on either examination.

 

RACE 2 – FINAL GOLD CROWN PAYMNTS DUE 13 FEB PACE – 1730 metres

THE HEATS ON LEXY – Broke stride in the middle stages of the score up and as a result caused a false start. Broke stride in the middle stages of the score up on the second occasion. The mare will now be placed outside the mobile barrier draw in future starts. Driver J Hewitt could give no reasonable explanation for the mare tiring over the final 500 metres to finish in 7th position beaten 41.5 metres other than the two false starts may have been detrimental to her overall performance. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.

MARABELLE – Checked between the 550 metres and 450 metres when trailing THE HEATS ON LEXY who was yielding ground.

FLOYDY BOY – Approaching the 750 metres became unbalanced and broke stride. A warning was issued.

THEYCALLMEBRUCE – Driver J O’Shea was fined $200 under Rule 156(2)(a) in that when applying his whip in the home straight on the final occasion has done so with more than a wrist flicking action. Post-race swab sample.

SHES NO HONEY – When negotiating the first turn was inconvenienced and broke stride when SWEET SWEET TOOTH raced roughly and shifted out.

SWEET SWEET TOOTH – Pre-race blood sample. Negotiating the first turn raced roughly for a short distance shifting out and as a result SHES NO HONEY being checked and broke stride.

 

RACE 3 – BATHURST NUTRIEN SALE 22 MARCH PACE – 1730 metres

RIVIERE – Pre-race blood sample.

LAYLA SHANNON – Post-race swab sample.

 

RACE 4 – BEDWELLS FEED BARN PACE – 1730 metres

INDASKY NZ – Post-race swab sample.

WHYIMAN – Prior to all clear, Driver T Bullock advised Stewards he wished to view the run to the finish. After viewing the films Mr Bullock decided to take the matter no further and all clear was declared on the judge’s numbers of 5 – 4 – 2 – 10. Tightened for racing room inside the 50 metres as a result of HOPPALONGPOG shifting out under pressure taking SHEVCHENKO up the track.

SHEVCHENKO – Inconvenienced inside the final 50 metres when taken up the track by HOPPALONGPOG who shifted out under pressure.

HOPPALONGPOG – Pre-race blood sample. Shifted out under pressure in the home straight on the final occasion. 

 

RACE 5 – MCGUIGAN SINGLE BATCH SUPER MAIDEN – 1730 metres

DANIBOY – Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.

RINGAROSA – Trainer/Driver T Higgs could give no reasonable explanation for the mare tiring over the concluding stages to finish in 9th position beaten 78.5 metres. Considering the mare’s overall mile rate of 2:01.5 the mare will be given its last chance to race truly. Post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.

MAJOR JEWEL – Hung out under pressure over the final 100 metres.

CHASIN YOU – Driver G Betts advised Stewards the gelding sustained a flat tyre throughout the event.

MISS HALLIE – Driver A Hurst could give no reasonable explanation for the mare tiring over the concluding stages to finish in 10th and last position beaten 80.1 metres. Considering the mare’s overall mile right of 2:01.6 she will be given her last chance to race truly. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.

 

RACE 6 – TAB REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP CONSOLATION – WESTERN – 2260 metres

REBOUNDER – Post-race swab sample.

TENMINUTES – Pre-race blood sample.

FIRESTORM RED - Pre and post-race veterinary examination as the gelding has had over 200 race starts. No abnormalities were detected on either examination.

TERRYRAMA - Pre and post-race veterinary examination as the gelding has had over 200 race starts. No abnormalities were detected on either examination. Leaving the 600 metres was inconvenienced when NOSAER was shifting wider.

NOSEAR – Driver N Turnbull was issued a reprimand under Rule 163(1)(a)(iii) in that when shifting his runner wider to obtain clear running at the 600 metres has inconvenienced TERRYRAMA.

 

RACE 7 – TAB REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL – WESTERN (LISTED CLASSIC) – 2260 metres

STUDLEIGH MELISE – Held up for clear racing room until the final 150 metres.

VAMOS – Held up for clear racing room until contacting the marker peg prior to utilising the sprint lane on the final occasion.

HUNTER SHANNON – When being fully tested improved onto the back of BETTING RANGER inside the final 50 metres, having to be steadied.

SEASIDER – Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.

ALWAYSBMINNIE – Pre-race blood sample. Inconvenienced inside the final 50 metres when trailing HUNTER SHANNON.

BETTING RANGER – Post-race swab sample.

 

RACE 8 – THE TAB GOLD RUSH CUP (LISTED CLASSIC) 2790 metres

FASHION ICON – Had a tendency to over race throughout the event.

CAPTAINS KNOCK – Pre-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.

MAX DELIGHT – Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.
