RACE 1 – THE TAB APP PACE – 1740 metres

 

MAJOR TRANSPARENCY – Very fractious during the score-up, refusing to score-up and was retired from the event, given the circumstances connections were advised that it would be placed outside the draw for future mobile start races, and it would be required to perform a re-qualifying trial. A post-race Veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities.

MUDSLINGER MONTY NZ – Broke gait after the start for which a warning was issued.

KYCORDEN – Pre-race swab sampled.

SAPPHIRE BOY – Broke gait during the score-up and was out of position at the start, given the gelding’s record connections were advised that it would be placed outside the draw for future mobile start races.

EBONY KARALTA – Post-race swab sampled.

BUBBLESONTHEBEACH – Driver T Prest was fined the sum of $200 under Rule 156(2)(a) for using his whip with an action that was more than a wrist only flicking motion in the home straight.

TINNYSMEDAD – Checked leaving the 1600 metres when MUDSLINGER MONTY NZ broke gait.

CHANCETOWIN – Pre-race swab sampled. Raced roughly after the start for which a warning was issued.

 

RACE 2 – YIRRIBEE STUD PACE – 2270 metres

 

BULLETIN – Pre-race swab sampled.

RETURN SERVE – Broke gait during the score-up, given the gelding’s record, connections were advised it would be placed on its last chance in the draw.

FEELGOOD RAY – Inconvenienced during the score-up when RETURN SERVE broke gait.

JILLIBY RYDER – Post-race swab sampled.

 

RACE 3 – HAPPY BIRTHDAY ROGER HARVEY PACE – 2270 metres

 

HAITCH VEE TEE – Tired over the concluding stages and beaten by a considerable margin. A post-race Veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities. Trainer/Driver A Diebert, when questioned regarding the performance, stated that she was disappointed with its run. Connections were advised the mare would be required to perform a re-qualifying trial.

BETTORS MAGIC – Broke gait during the score-up and was out of position at the start, given the gelding’s record connections were advised that it would be placed outside the draw for future mobile start races.

FRENCH STREET – Post-race swab sampled.

ULTIMATE EGO – Held up for clear running for the majority of the home straight.

CAPTAIN DEEJAY – Pre-race swab sampled. Over-raced during the middle stages of the event. Inconvenienced behind the tiring HAITCH VEE TEE leaving the 600 metres.

 

RACE 4 – NUTRIEN EQUINE STANDARDBRED PACE – 2270 metres

 

KEAYANG SANTIAGO – Pre-race swab sampled. Over-raced during the middle stages of the event.

BURTON – Post-race swab sampled.

ORAMA – Held up for clear running for the majority of the home straight.

BETTERTHANTHEBOYZ – Examined by the Club Veterinarian prior to the race, as it has had over 200 race starts, and cleared to start.

HES A TERROR – Examined by the Club Veterinarian prior to the race, as it has had over 200 race starts, and cleared to start.

 

RACE 5 – STEEL SUPPLIES LADYSHIP PACE – 1740 metres

 

KELLOSHIEL – Tired over the concluding stages of the event.

CULLECT A STARR – Tired over the concluding stages for which a warning was issued.

GRIMSHAW BAY – Inconvenienced behind the tiring KELLOSHIEL approaching the 100 metres.

MAJOR HAYLEY – Pre-race swab sampled.

LE BETTY – Post-race swab sampled.

ELLENS DELIGHT – Inconvenienced behind the tiring CULLECT A STARR near the 600 metres.

KYLEIGH – Inconvenienced behind the tiring CULLECT A STARR near the 600 metres.

 

RACE 6 – SUCCESS STUD PACE – 1740 metres

 

SHEER VITALITY – Tired over the concluding stages. Driver K Bloomfield was queried regarding the performance, he stated that the mare hung-in rounding the home turn resulting in her hitting her knee and paced poorly as a result. A post-race Veterinary examination of the mare did not reveal any abnormalities, although it was reported that it had a slower than normal recovery.

FASTING – Post-race swab sampled.

 

RACE 7 – TASCO PETROLEUM PACE – 1740 metres

 

WARIEDA BOY – Examined by the Club Veterinarian prior to the race, as it was having its first race start in over 12 months, and cleared to start.

SHARPER MEMORY – Was difficult to pull up following the race, resulting in Driver K Bloomfield being dislodged from his sulky when attempting to turn the mare around on the grass infield. K Bloomfield was examined by the on-course paramedics and cleared of any serious injuries.

MIKI LOCH – Post-race swab sampled.

LIT THE WICK – Pre-race swab sampled.

 

RACE 8 – WALSH & BLAIR PACE – 1740 metres

 

VIEW THE ART – Over-raced during the middle stages of the event.

OUR SPECIAL MEMORY – Pre-race swab sampled.

SHADES OF MIKI – Post-race swab sampled.

CARLO GAMBINO NZ – Examined by the Club Veterinarian prior to the race, as it is 12 years old, and was cleared to start.
