RACE 1 – AGT SLOTS PACE – 1609 metres
PERFECT STRANGER NZ – Post-race swab samples were obtained.
CATCHAFIRE NZ – Pre-race blood samples were obtained.
COASTAL DRIVE – Pre-race blood samples were obtained. Broke gait during the middle stages of the score up and was out of position at the start. Connections were advised that COASTAL DRIVE will now be excluded from the mobile barrier draw.
APPLIED NZ – Out of position at the start. Driver B Elder was fined the sum of $100 under rule 162(1)(j) for failing to maintain his position behind the mobile barrier until the start.
RACE 2 – BESTINBEDS.COM.AU PACE – 1609 metres
CLASSIC ELEGANCE NZ – Unable to obtain clear running at any stage of the home straight and was not fully tested. A post-race veterinary examination at the request of trainer B Hewitt revealed the mare to be significantly lame in the off hind leg. Subsequently an x-ray was undertaken. The x-ray revealed a fractured pastern. Treatment was administered and a splint was fitted. CLASSIC ELEGANCE NZ was transported off course to be reviewed by a surgeon. CLASSIC ELEGANCE NZ was stood down for 28 days and pending a veterinary certificate of fitness.
DUKES CHOICE – Unable to secure clear running at any stage of the home straight and was not fully tested.
STILL ROLLIN NZ – Post-race swab samples were obtained.
OOGA CHAKA – Trainer K Pizzuto was issued with a reprimand under rule 41(1) for presenting OOGA CHAKA on course approximately nine minutes after the prescribed time.
JAY OK – Pre-race blood samples were obtained. Unable to secure clear running until shifting wider near the 100 metres
ROCLEA IMAGE – Pre-race blood samples were obtained.
RACE 3 – D M PLUMBING PACE – 2300 metres
BETTING RANGER – Inclined to hang out throughout the event.
FUGITIVE NZ – Post-race swab samples were obtained.
RED REACTOR NZ – Pre-race blood samples were obtained. Underwent a pre and post-race veterinary examination as per HRNSW Animal Welfare guidelines due to the gelding having more than 200 lifetime starts. No abnormalities were observed on either examination.
RACE 4 – SUCCESS STUD – SPELLING HORSE SERVICES WARATAH FINAL – 1609 metres
LEXYS ON SONG – Post-race swab samples were obtained.
BORROWED TIME – Raced three wide in the early stages before working forward to the position outside of the leader near the 1100 metres.
RACE 5 – CLUB MENANGLE JE BINSKIN FFA (LISTED CLASSIC) – 1609 metres
REGAZZO DI TILLY – Pre-race blood samples were obtained.
HI MANAMEISJEFF NZ – Post-race swab samples were obtained.
RACE 6 – AMERICAN IDEAL – WE SALUTE YOUR GREAT LEGACY! LADYSHIP PACE – 1609 metres
CHARLIES ACE NZ – Underwent a pre and post-race veterinary examination as per HRNSW Animal Welfare guidelines due to the mare having more than 200 lifetime starts. No abnormalities were observed on either examination.
IDEAL IN DREAMS – Pre-race blood samples were obtained.
SKY BLU – Post-race swab samples were obtained.
DRAW A DREAM – Pre-race blood samples were obtained.
THE ANSWER – Unable to secure clear running until shifting wide near the 100 metres.
RACE 7 – ULTRA AIR PACE – 1609 metres
HAVEYOUCHECKEDIN – Pre-race blood samples were obtained.
CAULONIA COURAGE – Galloped at the start. A warning was issued.
CAPTAIN BELLASARIO – Passing the 100 metres commenced to hang in under pressure. Post-race swab samples were obtained.
FIRE FOX NZ – Pre-race blood samples were obtained. Inclined to over race in the middle stages.
RACE 8 – PRYDE’S EXCEPTIONAL ALWAYS TROTTERS MOBILE – 1609 metres
AFFAIRE DE COVER – Underwent a pre and post-race veterinary examination as per HRNSW Animal Welfare guidelines due to the gelding having more than 200 lifetime starts. No abnormalities were observed on either examination.
SPEEDY LOVER – Pre-race blood samples were obtained.
WATTS UP PARTYTIME – Pre-race blood samples were obtained. Post-race swab samples were obtained.
CONSTANTINOPLE – Raced three wide in the early stages before working forward to the position outside of the leader near the 1000 metres.
