RACE 1 – CANBERRA DIFFERENTIAL & MECHANICAL SERVICES PACE – 1770 metres
GLENBURNS WATERS – A pre‑race blood sample was obtained.
SHAKEN SANDS – A post‑race swab sample was obtained.
WORTH EVERY CENT – Severely checked and broke gait when CANT HEAR YOU galloped entering the first turn. The filly broke gait again passing the 300 metres. In view of the filly’s recent record, WORTH EVERY CENT was stood down until it completes one requalifying trial.
TWO BLUES BLING – Broke during the score‑up and was out of position at the start. In view of the mare’s record, a warning was issued. Over‑raced throughout the latter stages of the event.
CANT HEAR YOU – Broke gait shortly after entering the first turn, severely checking ALICES SWEETHEART NZ and WORTH EVERY CENT. The mare was retired from the event. A post‑race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. In view of the mare’s recent record, CANT HEAR YOU was stood down until it completes one requalifying trial. The mare will be re‑included in the mobile barrier draw.
ALICES SWEETHEART NZ – Underwent pre‑ and post‑race veterinary examinations as part of its return‑to‑racing requirements, with no abnormalities reported. Checked and broke shortly after the first turn when CANT HEAR YOU broke gait.
RACE 2 – LERIDA ESTATE WINERY PACE – 1770 metres
SPORTS LINER – Rounding the home turn hung in and contacted the marker pegs. Shortly thereafter, the gelding momentarily locked wheels with FLY OVER STATES.
BONJORGE – A pre‑race blood sample was obtained.
OAK RIDGE – Hung out shortly after the start. A post‑race swab sample was obtained.
FLY OVER STATES – Inside the final 200 metres momentarily locked wheels with SPORTS LINER.
MODERN SHEEN – Inside the final 200 metres was inconvenienced when SPORTS LINER and FLY OVER STATES momentarily locked wheels.
RACE 3 – TWOMEYS ACCOUNTING & ADVISORY PACE – 1770 metres
CAPITALISM – A pre‑race blood sample was obtained. A post‑race swab sample was also collected.
RAKADEAKS NZ – Tired noticeably over the concluding stages to finish in tenth position, beaten 51 metres. When questioned regarding the performance, driver Blake Medlyn explained that the gelding had difficulty negotiating the bends and, in his opinion, would be better suited on bigger tracks. A post‑race veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormalities. Having regard to the overall performance, connections were advised that RAKADEAKS NZ has been placed on its last chance to race truly.
RACE 4 – THE TAB APP PACE – 2170 metres
MATER BLUECHIP – A post‑race swab sample was obtained.
FAY IRENE – Pre‑race blood sample. The mare over‑raced throughout the early and middle stages before tiring noticeably over the final 600 metres to finish in ninth position, beaten 77 metres. When questioned regarding the performance, driver George Lee stated that the mare failed to settle at any stage during the event. A post‑race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. In view of the performance, connections were advised that FAY IRENE is stood down until it completes one re‑qualifying trial.
RACE 5 – GLEN MIA (ACT) PTY LTD PACE – 1770 metres
WAITANDSEE– Inconvenienced upon entering the back straight on the first occasion when TAMATINE TANE broke gait. Approaching the 300metres broke gait. Connections were advised that WAITANDSEE is stood down until it completes one re‑qualifying trial.
TAMATINE TANE– Raced rough after start. Broke gait on two separate occasions during running. Connections were advised that TAMATINE TANE is stood down until it completes one re‑qualifying trial.
TUFFASNAILS – Post‑race swab sample was obtained.
JAKRYAN- Caught racing three wide in the early stages of race until working forward to find a position outside the lead. Gave ground over the concluding stages.
COOGEE– Pre‑race blood sample. Raced roughly proceeding to broke gait around the 200metres. A warning was placed on the gelding’s record.
SHEBETTORWATCHOUT – Checked approaching the 200metre when COOGEE broke gait.
EYES OFF TIGER- Checked approaching the 200metre when COOGEE broke gait.
RACE 6 – O’SULLIVAN ELECTRICAL PACE – 1770 metres
SIR VINCENT – Tired markedly over the final stages finishing 6th beaten by 73metres. A post‑race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Given the performance, connections were advised that SIR VINCENT is stood down until it completes one re‑qualifying trial.
ROYAL FOCUS- – Post‑race swab sample was obtained.
PADDY MACH– Pre & post-race veterinary examination was conducted due to the gelding having competed in excess of 200 race starts and being 13 years of age. No obvious abnormalities were detected on either examination
LETSTACOBOUTIT– Broke gait approaching the 300metres. A warning was issued.
MOVINTOHELLANDBACK- – Pre‑race blood sample.
