RACE 1 – QUICKSHINE CARWASH PACE – 1660 metres

JOSEY MINT – Galloped in the score up, was out of position at the start and a warning was issued. Trailed the field for the entire.

NEVERTOOLATE – Pre-race sample. Driver J Reynolds was reprimanded under Rule 163(1)(a)(iii) for shifting ground outwards in the home straight on the final occasion, which inconvenienced CELEBRITY CRUISE and ROCKET ME. MOHAWK PARK, was also inconvenienced and tightened between CELEBRITY CRUISE and ROCKET ME.

CELEBRITY CRUISE – Inconvenienced in the home straight on the final occasion when NEVERTOOLATE shifted wider on the track.

MOHAWK PARK – Tightened and inconvenienced in the home straight on the final occasion when NEVERTOOLATE shifted wider on the track.

ROCKIN SWEET – Post-race sample.

ROCKET ME – Inconvenienced in the home straight on the final occasion when NEVERTOOLATE shifted wider on the track.

 

RACE 2 – WAL NORMAN MEMORIAL – 2040 metres

ULTIMATE COOKIE – Paced roughly in the score up. Inconvenienced GOOD CHAT which was trailing. Hung in leaving the back straight on the final occasion, ENZED FLYER and MAMMALS REASON were tightened and locked wheels. A warning was issued against the racing manners of the mare.

LIMBO LOTTIE – Galloped clear of interference on two separate occasions and was retired from the event in the vicinity of the 500m. In assessing the racing manners of the mare, connections were advised that LIMBO LOTTIE would be required to trial on one occasion prior to racing again.

MERRYWOOD ROSIE – Pre-race sample. Post-race sample.

ENZED FLYER – Tightened leaving the back straight on the final occasion due to ULTIMATE COOKIE hanging inwards. Inconvenienced and locked wheels with MAMMALS REASON in the vicinity of the 200m.

GOOD CHAT – Inconvenienced in the score up when trailing ULTIMATE COOKIE. Paced roughly as a result.

MAMMALS REASON – Tightened leaving the back straight on the final occasion when ULTIMATE COOKIE hung inwards. Contacted marker pegs during this section of the event before locking wheels with ENZED FLYER in the vicinity of the 200m.

 

 

RACE 3 – NELLA CONTRACTING PACE – 1660 metres

CHILLAX – Pre-race sample. Post-race sample.

PHANTOM STAR – Tightened for racing room racing into the first turn when PEAKSART hung in. Paced roughly momentarily at the 600m.

PEAKSART – Hung in after the start and tightened the racing room of PHANTOM STAR.

SERGEANT STRINGER – Galloped clear of interference at the 600m. A warning was issued against the racing manners of the gelding.

CLARENDEN VINTAGE – Declared a late scratching at 1:49pm acting on veterinary advice.

 

RACE 4 – PARKES FARM CENTRE PACE – 1660 metres

HOLME BOY – Post-race sample.

CENTREFIRE – Galloped clear of interference racing around the first turn. A warning was issued against the racing manners.  

HAZZA IS WATCHING – Held up for clear racing room rounding the final turn and in the early stages of the home straight.

JOHNNYS BLUE – Inconvenienced racing around the first turn when CENTREFIRE galloped.

ROCKNROLL BLING – Held up for clear racing room in the latter stages of the home straight.

EXCUSE TO CULLECT – Pre-race sample. Checked racing around the first turn when CENTREFIRE galloped.

GLENN FORD NZ – Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations due to the gelding starting in excess of 200 race starts. Neither examination revealed any abnormalities. Checked and galloped racing around the first turn when CENTREFIRE galloped. Driver O Frisby advised that the gelding proved disappointing in the performance and contributed the performance of GLENN FORD NZ to being checked racing around the first turn.

 

RACE 5 – KEITH RITCHIE MEMORIAL – 2040 metres

ROLL TO THE TOP – Pre-race sample.

ZOLTON – Held up for clear racing room in the run to the finish and unable to be fully tested.

TULHURST TIMMY – Inconvenienced in the home straight on the final occasion after ZOLTON was shifted wider.

TAKE OUT – Held up for clear racing room in the early stages of the home straight.

ROMERO – Over-raced during the early and middle stages and was obliged to race wide for most of the event. Tired to be beaten 72m with a post-race veterinary examination revealing a slower than normal recovery. In assessing the performance of ROMERO, connections were advised that the gelding would be stood down until the completion of one satisfactory trial.  

STARLIGHT SASS – Post-race sample. Driver J Turnbull was fined $50 under Rule 162(1)(h) for failing to have his drive in position at the start.

 

RACE 6 – HRNSW GUARANTEED LADYSHIP PACE – 1660 metres

JACKYS HAT – Galloped clear of interference racing around the first turn and a warning was issued.

SHES NO HONEY – Driver A Frisby was approved as a late driving replacement.

TULHURST PEBBLES – Hung out when working forward to obtain the lead at the 1200m.

VIOLET JAY – Pre-race sample.

BUTTER CUP – Post-race sample.

LUCKY PUNT – Slow to leave the pre-race circle and was out of position in the score up and at the start. In assessing the previous barrier manners of the mare, a last chance in the draw was issued.

 

RACE 7 – PARKES LEAGUES CLUB PACE – 1660 metres

I AM TARA – Tired to be beaten 49m. In assessing the previous racing manners of the filly, connections were advised that I AM TARA would be stood down until the completion of two satisfactory trials and for a period of 14 days.  

WARRAWEE JACK – Pre-race sample. Post-race sample.

STELLA MAY – Over-raced during the early and middle stages when racing outside of the leader. Driver S Dowton explained that he wished to gain cover when racing outside of the leader, however due to the racing manners of the mare that opportunity wasn’t available. STELLA MAY was stood down until the completion of one satisfactory trial.  

TENACITY RED – Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations due to not having started in a race since February 2025. Neither examination revealed any abnormalities.

 

RACE 8 – DUMESNY FAMILY MEMORIAL 2YO – 1660 metres

KING SHOOBEE – Galloped after the start and was placed outside the mobile barrier draw. Paced roughly at the 600m and a warning was issued.

SEASTRIKE – Post-race sample.

STARBASE – Hung out after the start when placed in restricted racing room and galloped. Being mindful of the contributing factors a last chance in the draw was issued. Galloped clear of interference on two separate occasions. STARBASE was stood down until the completion of one satisfactory trial.  

EZZRA – Pre-race sample. Shifted in marginally after the start, this resulted in STARBASE being placed in restricted racing room. Driver R Walker explained that connections were disappointed with the performance, however, was at a loss for an explanation to explain the finishing effort of EZZRA.

MAMMALS DUDLEY – Galloped after the start and was placed outside the mobile barrier draw. Galloped clear of interference during running and was stood down until the completion of the one satisfactory trial.

STAY MYSTERIOUS – Hung out upon entering the home straight on the final occasion and a warning was issued.

 

RACE 9 – GRENFELL COMMODITIES 2YO PACE – 1660 metres

NANGARA TULHURST – Post-race sample.

AUNTY MEL – Galloped in the score up and was out of position at the start. Placed outside the mobile barrier draw and trailed the field for the entire.

OUTTA THE ORDINARY – Hung in under pressure.

SURPRISE ARRIVAL – Paced roughly racing down the back straight on the final occasion.

SHES A DELANEY – Pre-race sample.

 

RACE 10 – TAB.COM.AU PACE – 1660 metres

PROMISE ME ART – Galloped out and a warning was issued. Trailed the field for the entire.

ROCKAMARA – Pre-race sample. Hung out after the start then paced roughly racing around the first turn. Hung out for the majority of the event when leading, checking CHASIN YOU and BODELETOS to varying degrees throughout the event. Driver R Harris pleaded guilty to a charge under Rule 168(1)(a) with the particulars of the charge being, racing down the back straight on the first occasion when adjusting the grip to the inside rein Mr Harris carelessly allowed ROCKAMARA to shift out causing severe interference to BODELETOS and CHASIN YOU. The licence of Mr Harris to drive in races was suspended for 14 days with the suspension ordered to commence midnight Friday 27 February 2026. In assessing penalty, the panel was mindful of the racing manners of ROCKAMARA throughout the event.  Connections were also advised that ROCKAMARA must compete in one satisfactory trial prior to competing in a race again.

CHASIN YOU – Checked at different stages throughout the event when racing to the outside of ROCKAMARA, which hung out severely.

BODELETOS – Checked racing down the back straight on the first occasion when ROCKAMARA was allowed to shift out.

SAM THE MAN – Inconvenienced racing around the first turn when STUCKINAFENCE galloped.

DOSHI – Post-race sample.

STUCKINAFENCE – Galloped racing around the first turn. SAM THE MAN was inconvenienced. STUCKINAFENCE was stood down until the completion of two satisfactory trials and for a period of 14 days.

SMOOTH CHAKRA – Galloped racing around the first turn and a warning was issued.

AARON MINT – Out of position in the score up and at the start. Will continue to be placed outside the mobile barrier draw.
