RACE 1 – GARRARDS HORSE AND HOUND PACE – 2030 metres

CAPTAIN DORIAN – Pre-race blood sample.

DEECEE ROCKIN – Momentarily placed in restricted room approaching the home turn and was inconvenienced racing between CAPTAIN DORIAN and CHEDDAR VALLEY NZ and contacting the offside wheel of CHEDDAR VALLEY NZ.

IRE OF THE DRAGON – Caught racing wide in the early stages before being restrained to the tail of the field passing the 1600 metres.

BULLETPROOF KID – Post-race swab sample.

BODYLINE – Improved three wide from the 1800 metres until obtaining the position outside the leader passing the 1600 metres.

ROCKIN BULL – Held up in the home straight and not fully tested.

RACE 2 – 2HD BREAKFAST WITH RICHARD KING PACE – 1609 metres

RADIANT AMBER – Examined prior to and following the running of this event as the mare has competed in excess of 200 race starts.  The examinations failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities. 

ROCKNROLL GIG – Caught racing wide in the early stages of the event before working forward to the lead passing the 1300 metres.

TARA VICTORY NZ – Caught racing wide in the early stages of the event with cover before working forward to the position outside the leader passing the 1300 metres.  Post-race swab sample.

A BUCK TEN – Back in the mobile barrier draw.

CHEVRON FLIES NZ – Held up in the home straight and not fully tested.

NOCTURNAL – Pre-race blood sample.

RACE 3 – THE CENTURIONS SOCIAL CLUB FOR ZAC WARATAH HEAT – 1609 metres

YESNOMAYBESO – Examined prior to and following the running of this event as the gelding has competed in excess of 200 race starts.  The examinations failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities. 

SPIRIT KING – Post-race swab sample.

PET KITTY – Pre-race blood sample.

WALTER WARLOCK – Broke stride during the score up.  After considering the recent record of the gelding a warning was issued.

RACE 4 – TOMMY REAY SAPKING MEMORIAL FINAL – 1609 metres

AMIEES ALIAS – Trainer Clayton Harmey was fined $50 under Rule 210 for failing the late notification of James Herbertson as the driver of the filly.

BETTORCHECKHEROUT – Pre-race blood sample.  Inconvenienced after the start when NO GOOD REASON broke stride.

NO GOOD REASON – Broke after the start inconveniencing BETTOR CHECKHEROUT.  After considering the recent record of the filly, it was placed outside the mobile barrier draw.

PASSION AND PAIN – Trainer KerryAnn Morris was fined $50 under Rule 210 for the late notification of Jye Coney as the driver of the colt.  Post-race swab sample.

ULTIMATE CRUSADER – Caught racing wide in the early stages of the event before being restrained to the tail of the field passing the 1300 metres.

UNJUST ENRICHMENT – Inconvenienced after the start when NO GOOD REASON broke stride.

MCWEAPON – Broke stride during the middle stages of the score up and inconvenienced LOCHINVAR COOGEE and as a result was out of position at the start.  After considering the recent record of the colt, it was placed outside the mobile barrier draw.

LOCHINVAR COOGEE – Inconvenienced during the middle stages of the score up when MCWEAPON broke stride.

RACE 5 – AVE TECHNOLOGIES NEWCASTLE MILE (GROUP 2) – 1609 metres

General – The start of this event was delayed to allow for the track surface to be rectified after the drag attached to the tractor became dislodged and left excessive track material on the racing surface 50 metres from the winning post.

HELLUVA NZ – Broke after the start and inconvenienced LUX AETERNA.  After considering the recent record of the gelding, a warning was issued.

LUX AETERNA – Inconvenienced after the start when HELLUVA NZ broke stride.

CHEERSTOLOU – Pre-race blood sample.

RAKERO ROCKET NZ – Pre-race blood sample.  Hung in passing the 350 metres and checked STILL ROLLIN NZ.  After considering the recent record of the gelding, a warning was issued.  Post-race swab sample.

STILL ROLLIN NZ – Checked passing the 350 metres when RAKERO ROCKET NZ hung in.

BAINBRIDGE – Post-race swab sample.

BULLETPROOF BOY – Pre-race blood sample.  Examined prior to and following the running of this event as the gelding has competed in excess of 200 race starts.  The examinations failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.  Caught racing wide in the early stages of the event before being restrained to the tail of the field passing the 1400 metres.  Post-race swab sample.

RACE 6 – SKYFALL STANDARDBREDS TROTTERS MILE – 1609 metres

SUNSET HILL NZ – Pre-race blood sample. 

SUNNY GEE – Examined prior to and following the running of this event as the gelding has competed in excess of 200 race starts.  The examinations failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.

KRISTAL JOSSELYN FRA – Pre-race blood sample.  Broke stride on two occasions passing the 700 metres and the 400 metres.  After considering the recent record of the horse, it was stood down until the completion of one requalifying trial.

WATTS UP PARTYTIME – Post-race swab sample.  Back in the mobile barrier draw.

RACE 7 – SKYFALL ESTATE SUPER MAIDEN – 1609 metres

ROOBEE – Broke stride free of interference passing the 1400 metres and inconvenienced LINE OF COURAGE.  After considering the recent record of the mare, a warning was issued.

WICKED LEGEND – Worked forward to the lead passing the 1200 metres.

BABLING BABLING – Post-race swab sample.

FRANCO STYLES – Examined prior to and following the running of this event as the gelding had not competed in previous 12 months.  The examinations failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.  Raced roughly passing the 1400 metres.  After considering the recent record of the gelding, a warning was issued.  Worked forward to the lead passing the 1350 metres.

SLICK AND SUAVE – Inconvenienced over the concluding stages when ROCKNROLL COWBOY broke under pressure.

LINE OF COURAGE – Inconvenienced passing the 1400 metres when ROOBEE broke stride.

ROCKNROLL COWBOY – Pre-race blood sample.  Improved three wide from the 1250 metres until obtaining the position outside the leader passing the 1050 metres.  Broke under pressure passing the 75 metres and inconvenienced SLICK AND SUAVE.  After considering the recent record of the gelding, a warning was issued.

RACE 8 – TOOHEYS PACE – 1609 metres

IDEAL AGENDA – Raced roughly under pressure.

STELLAR STRIDE – Hung out on a number of occasions when leading the event.  Post-race swab sample.

ASCOT SHOWGIRL – Pre-race blood sample.  Trainer Dwayne Brown was fined $50 under Rule 210 for failing the late notification of Tom Ison as the driver of the filly.  Over raced during the middle stages of the event.  Stewards questioned driver Tom Ison with regards to the performance of the filly which gave ground over the concluding stages to finish in ninth placing beaten 53 metres.  Mr Ison advised Stewards that he was extremely disappointed with the performance of the filly despite it only having limited ability.  Mr Ison further advised that trainer Dwayne Brown had suggested that the filly would be likely to be leaving his stable.  After considering the explanation provided by Mr Ison, the filly was stood down until the completion of one requalifying trial.  A post-race veterinary examination of the filly failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.

RACE 9 – THE TAB APP PACE – 1609 metres

PENURIOUS – Pre-race blood sample. 

MISTER BRILLANTE – Examined prior to the running of this event as a result of displaying an elevated temperature on arrival.  Passed fit to takes its place in the event. 

QUICKSHIFT GIRL – Post-race swab sample.

NEXT TO ME NZ – Caught racing wide in the early stages of the event before working forward to the position outside the leader passing the 1300 metres.
