RACE 1 – BUBBA GUMP CONTROL TROTTERS MOBILE – 1609 metres
PURPLE MOON – Pre-race sample.
JET PLANE – Slow to leave the mobile barrier.
PRINCESS DU FER – Galloped free of interference at the 300m. A warning was issued against the racing manners of the mare.
LAST CLANSMAN – Slow to leave the mobile barrier.
AFFAIRE DE COVER – Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations due to the gelding having in excess of 200 race starts. Neither examination revealed any abnormalities. Post-race sample.
PARIS SKIES – Galloped after the start and will continue to be placed outside the mobile barrier draw.
RACE 2 – D M PLUMBING TROTTERS MOBILE – 1609 metres
CHIEF RUNNINGCLOUD – A post-race veterinary examination revealed blood to be present in the left side nostril. Connections were advised that CHIEF RUNNINGCLOUD will now be required to trial on one occasion prior to racing again.
MISTER BLINDSIDE – Pre-race sample. Post-race sample.
HOT TO TROT NZ – Tired to be beaten 76.5m and was placed on its last chance to race truly.
VIRGINIA CLOWERS NZ – Galloped free of interference at the 1100m. In assessing the previous racing history of the mare, connections were advised that VIRIGINA CLOWERS NZ would be stood down until the completion of one satisfactory trial
RACE 3 – HYLAND HARNESS GEAR PACE – 1609 metres
The start of this race was delayed owing to Dalby Thoroughbreds Race 2 running behind schedule.
HESAA LISTER – Held up for clear racing room in the early stages of the home straight. Jostled for a position wider on the track at the 50m before locking wheels with VESPA STRIDE.
HAPPY TO YA – Post-race sample.
VESPA STRIDE – Resisted a jostle from HESAA LISTER at the 50m before locking wheels with that runner.
KINGSTON RAINBOW – Pre-race sample. Held up for clear racing room in the home straight and unable to be fully tested.

RACE 4 – MULTIQUIP AGGREGATES PACE – 1609 metres
DIVINE GIRL – Caused a false start at the first attempt after galloping and checking COCOS DESIRE. A warning was issued against the barrier manners of DIVINE GIRL.
COCOS DESIRE – Checked in the first attempt of the score up, resulting in a false start.
MYTH YOU ALREADY – Pre-race sample.
OAKIE SMOKESHOW – Post-race sample.
SNAKE OLI – Re-included back in the mobile barrier draw.
RACE 5 – PRYDE’S PROTEINPAK PACE – 1609 metres
LOVE A BELLE – ($2.25fav/6th/15m) Driver J Coney explained that connections were satisfied with the finishing effort of the mare. Mr Coney added that LOVE A BELLE possibly was not suited to the quicker mile rate recorded today of 1.51.7 seconds compared to the recent start which was recorded in 1.52.9 seconds.
KING COREY – ($15/10th/33m) Driver C Hart explained that the gelding was not suited to the quicker mile of 1.51.7 seconds compared to recent starts when able to win at the two starts prior in 1.53 seconds.

RACE 6 – WARRAWEE NEEDY STANDING AT YIRRIBEE PACE – 1609 metres
THE EX HORSEIST – Checked at the 400m when BALTUSROL galloped.
AMERICAN HAMMER – Driver S Grima was issued a reprimand under Rule 163(1)(a)(iii) for shifting ground wider at the 400m when insufficiently clear of BALTUSROL. In not taking the matter further the panel was mindful of the racing manners of BALTUSROL leading up to the incident.
BALTUSROL – Stewards inquired into the reasons for BALTUSROL galloping at the 400m. It was established that rounding the final turn racing towards the 400m BALTUSROL began to hang inwards despite the efforts of Driver J Coney. Shortly after racing past the 400m BALTUSROL galloped. In assessing the racing manners of BALTUSROL, the panel could not be comfortably satisfied this runner was checked due to the pressure received from the inside runner AMERICAN HAMMER, therefore took no further action other than to place a warning on BALTUSROL for hanging in and galloping at this stage.

RACE 7 – FARMER JOES OUTLET PACE – 1609 metres
THE BEST OF YOU – Fractious in the score up causing a false start at the first attempt. A warning was issued against the barrier manners of the mare. Inconvenienced at the 400m when TIL HEAVENS ROCKN NZ hung in and commenced to give ground.
TIL HEAVENS ROCKN NZ – Hung in at the 400m inconveniencing THE BEST OF YOU, which was trailing. It was reported following the event that a number two carrying strap was broken. This gear was inspected and found to be good quality.

SWEET STRIKE – Post-race sample.
DOWN WARD DOG – Jostled to maintain a position over the final 200m. Inconvenienced close the finish line when BANKSY NZ was directed wider on the track.
BANKSY NZ – Jostled to gain wider racing room over the final 200m. Driver C McDowell was issued with a reprimand under Rule 163(1)(a)(iii) for shifting his runner wider nearing the finish line when insufficiently clear of DOWN WARD DOG, causing that runner to be inconvenienced.
RACE 8 – WOODLANDS STUD PACE - 1609 metres
ZAMBIA NZ – Pre-race sample.
OUTSIDE FIGHTER – Declared a late scratching at 9:17am acting on veterinary advice.
CASH AND BLING – Held up for clear racing room in the early stages of the home straight.
RED REACTOR NZ – Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations due to the gelding having in excess of 200 race starts. Neither examination revealed any abnormalities. Post-race sample.
MICHAYWEY – Held up for clear racing room in the early stages of the home straight.
