RACE 1 – HORSPORT REHYDRATION FFA – 1609 metres
CLASSIC MISSION NZ – Pre-race blood samples were obtained.
KINGMAKER NZ – Pre-race blood samples were obtained. Raced three wide in the early stages before crossing to the lead approaching the 1000 metres. Post-race swab samples were obtained.
RACE 2 – KA CLEANS & FLUSHES NSW DERBY HEAT 1 – 1609 metres
EYENEEDTHAT – Pre-race blood samples were obtained.
SHOWMETHTANLINES NZ – Post-race swab samples were obtained.
REWATCH – Pre-race blood samples were obtained.
WHERESWALLY – Caught wide in the early stages before being restrained to the rear of the field.
RACE 3 – NEUTRA-SYRUP NSW DERBY HEAT 2 – 1609 metres
FIRE AND PASSION – Pre-race blood samples were obtained.
MAXO MIGHTY – Hung in during the score up.
USYK – Pre-race blood samples were obtained.
SOHO CHARMER – Improved three wide in the middle stages and crossed to the position outside of the leader near the 700 metres. Post-race swab samples were obtained.
RACE 4 – IRONVITA NSW DERBY HDAT 3 – 1609 metres
BEROCCA BERNIE – Pre-race blood samples were obtained.
EMPEROR – Leaving the 200 metres was inclined to hang in under pressure and contacted marker pegs.
ZEUS LIGHTNING NZ – Raced roughly after the start. Passing the 350 metres was inclined to hang in and contacted marker pegs. Post-race swab samples were obtained.
FUGITIVE NZ – Pre-race blood samples were obtained.
RACE 5 – INTERNATIONAL ANIMAL HEALTH SPRINT – 1609 metres
DON HUGO – Pre-race blood samples were obtained. Unable to secure clear running at any stage of the home straight and was not fully tested.
SPEAK THE TRUTH – Pre-race blood samples were obtained.
LEAP TO FAME – Pre-race blood samples were obtained. Post-race swab samples were obtained.
CHASE A DREAM NZ – Post-race swab samples were obtained.
CAPTAINS KNOCK – Pre-race blood samples were obtained.
RACE 6 – BIOWORMA SPRINT – 1609 metres
THE JANITOR NZ – Pre-race blood samples were obtained. Passing the 500 metres when improving three wide had to be steadied and was taken wider by PINSEEKER NZ which shifted out resulting in THE JANITOR NZ racing four wide. Post-race swab samples were obtained.
PINSEEKER NZ – Driver J Cox pleaded guilty to a charge under rule 163(1)(b) for forcing another runner wider than necessary in that leaving the 500 metres, J Cox shifted PINSEEKER NZ out from the two wide line when not quite clear of THE JANITOR NZ and subsequently THE JANITOR NZ was taken from a three wide position to a four wide position therefore covering more ground than necessary prior to the nominated marker which is located at the 400 metres. In assessing penalty, consideration was given to J Cox driving record, forthright evidence and guilty plea. In addition, consideration was given to the consequential effect of the incident. J Cox had his licence to drive in races suspended for a period of seven days to commence midnight 14 March 2026.
EYE KEEP SMILING – Caught wide in the early stages before being restrained to the rear of the field.
RAKERO ROCKET NZ – Pre-race blood samples were obtained.
KINGMAN NZ – Pre-race blood samples were obtained.
WAR DAN BUDDY – Held up in the early stages of home straight before improving and then approaching the 50 metres was once again unable to obtain clear running. Subsequently WAR DAN BUDDY was not fully tested.
SWAYZEE – Pre-race blood samples were obtained. Post-race swab samples were obtained.
RACE 7 – LIVAMOL CHARIOTS OF FIRE (GROUP 1) – 1609 metres
DOUBLE LOU – Pre-race blood samples were obtained. Leaving the 300 metres was disappointed for a run on the inside and subsequently the gelding contacted marker pegs. DOUBLE LOU continued to be held up for the remainder of the straight and was not fully tested.
MY ULTIMATE BARNEY – Pre-race blood samples were obtained. Broke gait in the early stages of the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was issued. MY ULTIMATE BARNEY was distanced from the field for the remainder of the event.
CAPTAINS MISTRESS NZ – Pre-race blood samples were obtained. Improved three wide during the early stages before crossing to the lead near the 1100 metres. Post-race swab samples were obtained.
FERNCO NEL NZ – Pre-race blood samples were obtained.
SEASIDER – Unable to secure clear running until shifting wider passing the 100 metres.
FINAL DEADLINE NZ – Post-race swab samples were obtained.
SINALOA – Post-race swab samples were obtained.
RACE 8 – ELECTROMIX ELECTROLYTES WARATAH SERIES FINAL – 1609 metres
GENERAL – Trainer A S Turnbull was fined the sum of $100 per horse under Rule 273(5)(a) for presenting SHAZADELE and FIRESTORM RED into the parade ring in the incorrect saddle cloth numbers.
BETTERTHANFEDERER – During the score up contacted the mobile barrier arm and broke gait for a short distance. A warning was issued.
FLYING COLOURS NZ – Pre-race blood samples were obtained.
FARFALLA STRIDE – Unable to secure clear running until shifting wider near the 200 metres. Post-race swab samples were obtained.
FIRESTORM RED – Underwent a pre and post-race veterinary examination as per HRNSW Animal Welfare guidelines due to the gelding having its 218th race start. No abnormalities were detected on either examination.
GLENEAGLE RULER – Pre-race blood samples were obtained.
RACE 9 – SOOTHA SAPLING STAKES (LISTED CLASSIC) – 1609 metres
DON HUNTER – Post-race swab samples were obtained.
RISEABOVETHEREST – Pre-race blood samples were obtained. Raced roughly after the start. Placed on its last chance in the mobile barrier draw. Passing the 150 metres had to be steadied away from THEMIDNIGHTEXPRESS which shifted out and subsequently RISEABOVETHEREST raced roughly for a short distance.
THEMIDNIGHTEXPRESS – Had difficulty securing clear running until passing the 150 metres at which point THEMIDNIGHTEXPRESS shifted out which caused RISEABOVETHEREST to be hampered. Driver J Callaghan was issued a reprimand under rule 163(1)(a)(iii) for causing interference.
PASSION AND PAIN – Pre-race blood samples were obtained.
RACE 10 – PRON8URE PROBIOTIC TOUGH MONARCH TROTTERS FFA – 2300 metres
SUNNY GEE – Underwent a pre and post-race veterinary examination as per HRNSW Animal Welfare guidelines due to the gelding having its 204th race start. No abnormalities were detected on either examination.
RAKERO BLAZE NZ – Broke gait during the score up and was out of position at the start. The mare took no competitive part in the event. In view of its recent good record a warning was issued.
KRISTAL JOSSELYN FRA – Pre-race blood samples were obtained.
WATTS UP PARTYTIME – Pre-race blood samples were obtained. Post-race swab samples were obtained.
HIDE AND SEEK – Leaving the 1600 metres became unbalanced and broke gait. A warning was issued.
