RACE 1 – VALE LAURIE JAMES – TAMWORTH LIFE MEMBER – 1980 metres

CHARJO – Pre-race blood sample.

ROCKNROLL RAMBO – Subject to a gear malfunction when the near side shaft broke free of its coupling and a false start was declared.

BULL SHARK – post-race swab sample.

GALVARINO – Pulled hard during the early and middle stages.

 

RACE 2 – SAUERS GLASS TRAINERS PREMIERSHIP PACE – 1980 metres

DOUBLE LINES – Raced in restricted room in the early part of the home straight.

UNCLE GREGORY – Passed required pre-race veterinary examination. Weakened noticeably inside the 600 metres and tailed the field. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding displayed a slow recovery rate. Connections were advised a poor performance warning would be placed on UNCLE GREGORY’S racing record.

GROSESTAR - Passed required pre-race and post-race veterinary examination. Post-race swab sample.

COUNTRY MAJOR – Pre-race blood sample.

GOTONEBETTOR – Held up over the concluding stages and ran to the finish under some restraint.

 

RACE 3 – STOCKMANS SUPPLIES – FARRIER EQUIPMENT PACE – 1609 metres

LACHIES IDEAL – Pre-race blood sample. Pulled hard during the early and middle stages. Post-race swab sample.

MAXY BOMBER – Unable to maintain its position at the start due in the main to the sudden increase in tempo of the mobile speed. Under the circumstances, no action was taken.

RAINBOW JET - Unable to maintain its position at the start due in the main to the sudden increase in tempo of the mobile speed. Under the circumstances, no action was taken.

SUPERIOR ART – Hung out for some distance rounding the turn passing the winning post with a lap remaining.

 

RACE 4 – PORTABLE HORSE STABLES LADYSHIP PACE – 1609 metres

BELLRIVERGIRL – Broke stride free of any external factors during the score up and galloped for a short distance. connections were advised a warning would be placed on the mare’s racing record.

KATASTROPHEE – Pre-race blood sample.

CORAL CAYS – post-race swab sample.

 

RACE 5 – FILLIES N COLTS – MOBILE BARISTA PACE – 1980 metres

THREEBUSHELSOFOATS – post-race swab sample.

HE SAID SHE SAID - Passed required pre-race and post-race veterinary examination.

MISTER CHEESE – Pulled hard during the early and middle stages.

POSH FELLA NZ – Hampered and had to be shifted slightly wider passing the 400 metres when obliged to avoid MISTER CHEESE which shifted out when not quite clear.

MCCRIKEY NZ – Pre-race blood sample. Unable to obtain clear running at any stage in the home straight and went to the finish without being tested.

 

RACE 6 – BELL PARTNERS TAMWORTH – AUTUMN PACE – 1980 metres

MAJOR MICKEY – Unbalanced for some distance in the early part of the home straight and could not be driven forward after locking wheels with ASHLEYS BLUE CHIP when that runner shifted in marginally. Subsequently T Ison, Trainer/Driver of ASHLEYS BLUE CHIP was reprimanded under Rule 163(1)(a)(iii).

ARNIES ARMY NZ – Pulled hard during the early and middle stages.

ASHLEYS BLUE CHIP – When attempting to rectify the locked wheels with MAJOR MICKEY, Driver T Ison contacted the offside shaft of MAJOR MICKEY. Mr Ison was reminded of his obligation to maintain his body position within the confines of his own sulky.

 

RACE 7 – MULTIQUIP ENGINEERING WARATAH HEAT – 1609 metres

THOMAS ROYAL – Post-race swab sample.

NIGHT TO REMEMBER – Had to be checked and blundered near the 400m, when crowded by AMILLION PROMISES, which shifted in whilst hanging in, when not quite clear. Despite the slight intractability of AMILLION PROMISES, Driver C Formosa was reprimanded under Rule 163(1)(a)(iii).

LOCKITINEDDY – Raced intractably rounding the home turn, then when placed under further pressure inside the 100 metres shifted in abruptly before being checked by its driver.

SCRUFFY MOTO – Broke stride free of any external factors during the score up, galloped excessively and took no competitive part. Connections were advised that prior to racing again the mare must perform tractably in an official qualifying trial.
