RACE 1 – MEDOWIE LODGE PACE – 2030 metres

NIFTY STUDLEIGH – Examined pre and post-race by the veterinarian with no abnormalities reported.

SWEET TARA – Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.

 

RACE 2 – RAGING BULL STANDING AT ARTISTIC LODGE PACE – 1609 metres

KING HIT NZ – Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.

CAPITALISM – Held up for clear running in the latter stages of the run to the finish.

AVENGER NZ – Held up for clear running in the early stages of the run to the finish.

YESNOMAYBESO - Examined pre and post-race by the veterinarian with no abnormalities reported.

 

RACE 3 – CARMER STANDARDBRED 3YO PACE – 1609 metres

MISS SAYDEE SLOY – Weakened over the concluding stages to finish well back. Driver J Callaghan could not offer any explanation for the performance, however, was disappointed given the run afforded. A post-race veterinary examination could not reveal any abnormalities. Connections were advised a warning would be issued against the performance.

LOCHINVAR LEADER – Pre-race blood sample.

ETHANS REVENGE – Had a tendency to hang out whilst under pressure in the early stages of the run to the finish. Post-race swab sample.

 

RACE 4 – MITAVITE PACE – 1609 metres

CONSTANTINA – Had a tendency to hang in during the early and middle stages of the score up. Post-race swab sample.

RADIANT AMBER - Examined pre and post-race by the veterinarian with no abnormalities reported.

THE TAX CULLECTOR – Had a tendency to over race during the middle stages of the event.

GIVE ME A MINUTE NZ – Had a tendency to over race in the early and middle stages of the event.

DONTLETFEARSTOPYA NZ – Broke stride in the middle stages of the score up and was out of position as the start was effected. A warning was issued. It was reported post-race that it had dropped its near side knee boot in the early stages of the event.

WALTER WARLOCK – Pre-race blood sample.

ILLAWONG DANNY – Held up for clear running over the concluding stages and not fully tested.

 

RACE 5 – COBBITTY EQUINE FARM PACE – 2030 metres

ITZMINEONTHELINE – Post-race swab sample.

NO NOTHTEBUTTONS – Pre-race blood sample.

 

RACE 6 – NUTRIEN EQUINE STANDARDBRED SALES 2YO PACE – 1609 metres

BORN TO RAVISH – Pre-race blood sample. Broke stride as the field negotiated the first turn free of interference. Connections were advised given its limited experience that it would be stood down until it can requalify on one occasion.

MY ULTIMATE JED – Post-race swab sample.

 

RACE 7 – ALABAR AUSTRALIA PACE – 1609 metres

BROOKESSMARTDANCER – Held up for clear running in the early stages of the run to the finish.

WALLAROY BOY - Examined pre and post-race by the veterinarian with no abnormalities reported. Pre-race blood sample.

ULTIMATE TROUBLE – Post-race swab sample.

ROCKNROLL TONY – Examined pre and post-race by the veterinarian with no abnormalities reported. Had a tendency to over race in the early and middle stages of the event.

 

RACE 8 – WOODLANDS STUD SHUTTLING THE WORLDS BEST SIRES PACE – 1609 metres

 

General

Stewards inquired into the reasons for SCATTERSHOT (G Panella) racing roughly entering the first turn. Upon review it was established that SCATTERSHOT (G Panella) had a tendency to hang out entering the first turn and was then obliged to be steadied and placed in restricted room from TWO CRACKED CORN (W Rixon) entering the first turn and shortly thereafter raced roughly. A warning was issued against SCATTERSHOT for its tractability at that stage in addition to Driver W Rixon being reprimanded under Rule 163(1)(a)(iii) for closing down the track at that stage placing it in restricted room.

SCATTERSHOT – Had a tendency to over race throughout the early and middle stages.

ROCKNROLL ROCKET – Post-race swab sample.

TONYS DREAM – Broke stride shortly after the start was effected. A warning was issued.

TWO CRACKED CORN – Pre-race blood sample. Held up for clear running room over the concluding stages and not fully tested.

EYES BEEN PATIENT – Fractious in the early stages of the score up and got to the outside of SCATTERSHOT and raced through to a front line position and as a result a false start was declared. Connections were advised will now be excluded from the mobile barrier draw given its recent record. Had a tendency to over race in the early stages of the event.

 

RACE 9 – INTERNATIONAL ANIMAL HEALTH PRODUCTS PACE – 1609 metres

RAINBOWSEND – Pre-race blood sample.

ULTIMATE RHAPSODY – Post-race swab sample.

 

RACE 10 – HARNESS BREEDERS NSW / REPRESENTING THE INDUSTRY PACE – 1609 metres

ROOBEE – Pre-race blood sample.

WOOPAA – Had a tendency to race roughly as the field negotiated the final turn.

FRANCO STYLES – Post-race swab sample.

NEVER KNOW SPARKY – Had a tendency to hang out as the field negotiated the final turn.
