RACE 1 – HRNSW GUARANTEED LADYSHIP PACE – 1635 metres

BONJORGE – Pre-race blood sample.

CRIMSON ROCK NZ – Pre-race blood sample. Driver J Stockton was queried on the overall performance of the mare which failed to run on over the concluding stages to finish in 10th and last position beaten 15.9 metres. He stated with speed to his inside he elected to restrain to the tail of the field where the mare never travelled comfortable. Leaving the 600 elected to shift wider to attempt to make ground, when unable to do so shifted back down to the marker line at the 3oo metres where he appeared to be held up for clear racing room in the run to the finish. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.

I LIKA STYLE – Leaving the 1400 metres when being restrained to obtain cover raced roughly for a short distance.

MODERN SHEEN – Trainer K Field advised the mare had undertaken chiropractic work prior to racing tonight and believed this was the reason for the improved performance. Post-race swab sample. Furthermore, a blood sample was taken three hours post-race.

ALWAYSATTHEBEACH – Driver Ella Turnbull was cautioned on her whip use in the home straight on the final occasion.

 

RACE 2 – MBM MEATS PACE – 1635 metres

BETTERTHANTHEBOYZ – Pre and post-race veterinary examination as the gelding has had over 200 races starts. No abnormalities were detected on either examination.

LETSTACOBOUTIT – Post-race swab sample.

JUNGLE SHARK – Pre-race blood sample.

PADDY MACH – Pre and post-race veterinary examination as the gelding is 13 years of age and has had over 200 races starts. No abnormalities were detected on either examination.

SPRING DELIGHT – Held up for clear racing room in the run to the finish and not fully tested.

DEAD EYE TIKI - Held up for clear racing room in the run to the finish and not fully tested. At the request of connections, will be placed back in the mobile barrier draw in future starts.

 

RACE 3 – TEMORA TROTTING CLUB VOLUNTEERS PACE – 2000 metres

TEST OF FIRE – Driver G Lee was fined the sum of $200 under Rule 162(1)(www)(i) in that when driving his horse out in the home straight on the final occasion has allowed it to shift out under pressure and as a result has impeded TITIWHA when locking wheels and checking that runner at the 75 metres.

OUR ROCKY – Had a tendency to over race throughout the event.

TITIWHA – Checked when locking wheels inside the final 100 metres.

MOP NZ – Out of position at the start. A warning was issued. Held up for clear racing room in the run to the finish and not fully tested.

MILLWOOD GRACE – Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.

SHES GOT A REASON – Held up for clear racing room in the run to the finish and not fully tested.

KALKADOON DREAMING – Pre-race blood sample. Inconvenienced after the start when MOP NZ was slow to begin.

 

RACE 4 – TEMORA EX-SERVICES CLUB PACE – 1635 metres

HES A TERROR - Pre and post-race veterinary examination as the gelding has had over 200 races starts. No abnormalities were detected on either examination.

OAK RIDGE – Pre-race blood sample. Broke stride in the latter stages of the score up causing a false start. A warning was issued. Post-race swab sample.

 

RACE 5 – SWSBANK PACE – 1635 metres

SERGEANT PEE JAY – Negotiating the first turn, hung in when being tightened by IDEAL ANDY who shifted down the track when insufficiently clear and as a result has tightened CAPTAIN PINNACLE who was racing to its inside contacting the sulky wheel and racing roughly. Hung out throughout the event. A warning was issued.

JUST GO JOE – Pre-race blood sample. Held up for clear racing room in the run to finish and not fully tested.

IDEAL ANDY – Driver Taylah Osmond pleaded guilty to a charge under Rule 163(1)(a)(iii) in that when negotiating the first turn when racing three wide has followed ELLENS DELIGHT down the track to the running line and as a result has tightened SERGEANT PEE JAY who was racing to its inside who in turn was shifted down the track tightening CAPTAIN PINNACLE who contacted marker pegs contacting the sulky wheel and was checked and raced roughly. Considering Miss Osmond’s guilty plea and record in relation to this rule, her licence to drive in races was suspended for a period of 10 days. This suspension is to commence midnight Wednesday 8 April 2026. Post-race swab sample.

CAPTAIN PINNACLE – Negotiating the first turn was tightened and checked when contacting the inside sulky wheel of SERGEANT PEE JAY. Passing the 900 metres became unbalanced and broke stride. Considering the gelding’s recent record, he will be stood down for a period of 14 days and must also requalify on two occasions.

SECRET LINE – Due to dead heating the race with IDEAL ANDY, a post-race swab sample was obtained.

 

RACE 6 – ALTORA 3YO PACE – 1635 metres

ONE MORE REASON – Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.

GLENBURNS SUPREME – Raced roughly shortly after the start. A warning was issued. The gelding then tired over the final 400 metres to finish in 9th position beaten 101.1 metres. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. The gelding will be required to requalify on one occasion prior to racing.

MAMMALS JEWEL – Negotiating the first turn raced roughly when contacting the inside sulky wheel of SEASIDE SID who had shifted down when insufficiently clear.

SEASIDE SID – Driver B Micallef was issued a reprimand under Rule 163(1)(a)(iii) in that when negotiating the first turn four wide has shifted his runner down the track when insufficiently clear of MAMMALS JEWEL and as a result made contact to that runners off side foreleg with it racing roughly for a short distance. Mr Micallef was also questioned on the overall performance of the gelding which failed to run on over the concluding stages to finish in 7th position beaten 33.9 metres. He stated with the fast tempo of the race and racing outside the lead proved detrimental to the gelding’s overall performance.

SET PLAY – Leaving the 1300 metres when attempting to be eased, became unbalanced and broke stride. A warning was issued.

 

RACE 7 – WHITES SHOE PACE – 1635 metres

BLINGFORTHEGIRLS – Broke in the early stage of the score up. A warning was issued.

THE HEATS ON LEXY – Over raced throughout the event.

YANKEE BABE – Leaving the 300 metres became unbalanced and broke stride. A warning was issued.

HARJAYBRO – Post-race swab sample.

STIPULATING – Pre-race blood sample.

 

RACE 8 – TEMORA BOWLING CLUB PACE – 1635 metres

NOTTADOUBT – Leaving the 400 metres was tightened and raced roughly as a result of contacting the sulky wheel of THE LURKER who had hung in and shifted down the track.

GLAMOUR FOX – Tired over the final 300 metres to finish in 9th position beaten 63.4 metres. A warning was placed on the mare’s racing manners.

CHANSU – Pre-race blood sample. Broke stride in the middle stages of the score up and as a result was out of position at the start. A warning was issued. The gelding galloped for an excessive amount of time being difficult to regain its correct gait. He will be required to requalify on one occasion prior to racing.

OUR ULTIMATE BONNY – Post-race swab sample.

THE LURKER – Driver J Painting was issued a reprimand under Rule 163(1)(a)(iii) in that leaving the 400 metres when racing three wide has allowed his runner to shift down the track tightening the running of NOTTADOUBT with that runner being checked and racing roughly for a short distance.

STAR CONNECTION – At the request of connections will be placed back in the mobile barrier draw in future starts.

 

RACE 9 – TAB VENUE MODE PACE – 1635 metres

MASTABLASTA – Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.

GLAMORS SYMBOL - Pre and post-race veterinary examination as the mare is 12 years of age and has had over 200 races starts. No abnormalities were detected on either examination.
