RACE 1 – HSV MUSCLE CAR SHOW PENRITH SHOWGROUND APRIL 12 PACE – 2125 metres

ELEGANT STRIDE – Post-race swab sample.

CHARLIES ACE NZ – Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations due to the mare having started in more than 200 races. These examinations did not reveal any significant findings.

ULTIMATE WEAPON NZ – Broke shortly after the start and trailed the field thereafter. A warning was issued.

BLACKJACK BART – Pre-race blood sample.

 

RACE 2 – DOWNLOAD THE TAB APP TODAY PACE – 1720 metres

ALLORNOTHINGLEVI – Pre-race blood sample.

BETTORLEFTALONE – Post-race swab sample.

KAY JAY MIKI – Held up inside the final 200 metres.

 

RACE 3 – JAZZ BAND @ CLUB PACEWAY APRIL 12 PACE – 1720 metres

CAPTAIN BLOOD – Shifted out under pressure inside the final 200 metres and as a consequence LOCHIEL NZ obtained a clear run to its inside over the final 100 metres.

LOCHIEL NZ – Pre-race blood sample. Obtained a clear run approaching the 100 metres to the inside of CAPTAIN BLOOD. Post-race swab sample.

 

RACE 4 – BINGO @ CLUB PACEWAY EVERY WEDNESDAY PACE – 1720 metres

DOUBLE IT HARRY – Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.

OBADIAH DRAGON NZ – Driver Jake Bigeni was questioned regarding the performance of the gelding which finished in 10th placing beaten 38 metres ($8.50). Mr Bigeni explained the gelding was caught 3 wide during the early stages of the event, which combined with being positioned without cover thereafter and the fast overall mile rate of 1:54.3 told on OBADIAH DRAGON NZ over the concluding stages. A post-race veterinary examination of OBADIAH DRAGON NZ failed to reveal any significant findings.

THE BEST OF YOU – Checked rounding the final turn when held up behind OBADIAH DRAGON NZ which commenced to give ground.

FLO RYDA NZ - Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations due to the gelding having started in more than 200 races. These examinations did not reveal any significant findings.

 

RACE 5 – MARKETS @ PENRITH SHOWGROUND EVERY THURSDAY PACE – 2125 metres

MAJOR ART NZ – Pre-race blood sample. Paced roughly a short distance after the start and a warning was issued. Post-race swab sample.

LIGHT ME UP NZ – Held up inside the final 200 metres.

FIRE FOX NZ – Held up inside the final 200 metres.

ADMIRABLE NZ – held up inside the final 200 metres.

FOXY DADA – Held up inside the final 200 metres.

 

RACE 6 – AUSSIE NIGHT MARKETS SUNDAY APRIL 12 PACE – 2125 metres

TIGERLICIOUS – Over raced during the middle stages. Post-race swab sample.

HOT CRUISE CONTROL – Pre-race blood sample.

CARIBBEAN RUNA – Held up rounding the home turn and the early part of the straight. Inconvenienced passing the 150 metres when disappointed for a run to the inside of HOT CRUISE CONTROL.

STELLINA – Completed a pre-race warm up.

GREY CADILLAC - Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations due to the gelding having started in more than 200 races. These examinations did not reveal any significant findings.

 

RACE 7 – FISHO’S RAFFLES @ CLUB PACEWAY EVERY FRIDAY PACE – 2125 metres

VENOM HANOVER – Complete a pre-race warm up.

MY ULTIMATE SASSY – Post-race swab sample.

TIGER EUPHEME – Pre-race blood sample. Retired from the event shortly after passing the 1400 metres due to the mare having sustained a flat sulky tyre at the 1600 metres.

ROYAL VINCENT – Contacted the sulky of TIGER EUPHEME approaching the 1600 metres when the pace of the event eased and ROYAL VINCENT shifted out when steadied.

 

RACE 8 – MAJOR OAK THEATRE RESTAURANT 3YO PACE – 1720 metres

CAPTAINS DELIGHT – Hung out at various stages when leading. Continued to hang out under pressure inside the final 200 metres. Connections were advised a warning would be issued. Post-race swab sample.

DOUBLE NEEDS – Declared a late scratching at 12:58pm acting on veterinary advice.

CAPTIAN TIDS – Hung in at various stages, most notably passing the 400 metres resulting in PLEASANT HEIGHTS being momentarily tightened. A warning was placed on the record of CAPTAIN TIDS.

BARDEN RIDGE - Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations due to the gelding not having started in the previous 12 months. These examinations did not reveal any significant findings.

CENT FOR PLEASURE – Pre-race blood sample.
