RACE 1 – MULTIQUIP AGGREGATES 2YO TROTTERS FOUNDATION HEAT 1 – 1609 metres

IM FRANKEE – Pre-race blood sample. Broke gait in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was issued. Post-race swab sample.

ARETE VIRTUE – Out of position at the start. A warning was issued.

CHIEF KENNY – Hung in when placed under pressure leaving the 400 metres.

 

RACE 2 – PRYDE’S POWERPAK TROTTERS STANDING START HANDICAP – 2300 metres

ADDICTIVE STRIDE – Slow to begin. Inclined to over race during the early and middle stages. Approaching the 400 metres became unbalanced and broke gait. A warning was issued.

GUNNER – Inclined to hang out over the final 200 metres.

THEBESTBOURBON – Raced roughly after the start.

CHIEF RUNNINGCLOUD – Post-race swab sample.

AFFAIRE DE COVER – Underwent a pre and post-race veterinary examination as per HRNSW animal welfare guidelines due to the gelding having its 215^th race start. No abnormalities were detected on either examination.

ITZFERGIETIME – Had difficulty securing clear running until passing the 100 metres.

VALTINO – Pre-race blood sample. Shortly after the start became unbalanced and broke gait. A warning was issued. Passing the 1700 metres was inclined to race roughly and made contact with its own sulky wheel. As a result VALTINO sustained a flat tyre.

 

RACE 3 – LIVAMOL WITH BIOWORMA PACE – 1609 metres

EXPLOSIVE BRONSKI – Post-race swab sample.

LILS NIGHTMARE NZ – Leaving the 300 metres broke its offside spreader. Driver B Portelli pleaded guilty to a charge under Rule 156(2)(a) for applying his whip to LILS NIGHTMARE NZ in more than a wrist only flicking motion between the 350 metres and the 200 metres. B Portelli was fined $200.

RIO DE JANEIRO BLUE NZ – Pre-race blood sample.

 

RACE 4 – MACARTHUR BULLS SUPER MAIDEN – 1609 metres

WARRAWEES SHOUT – Pre-race blood sample.

GENERAL MISCONDUCT – Raced roughly after the start.

FIRESTRIKE – Post-race swab sample.

TILLY DEEVINNE – Broke gait during the middle stages of the score up and was out of position at the start. The filly will continue to be excluded form the mobile barrier draw.

RACE 5 – ESTABLISHED IN 1967 SUCCESS STUD PACE – 1609 metres

MICHAEL CAINE NZ – Gave ground over the final 200 metres.

JOHNNY TANG – Pre-race blood sample.

THE NITESHIFT – Raced three wide in the early stages before working forward to the position outside the leader leaving the 1200 metres. Post-race swab sample.

 

RACE 6 – WARRAWEE NEEDY STANDING AT YIRRIBEE PACE – 1609 metres

ARK SEA – Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.

FE FE ON FIRE – Caught wide in the early stages before being restrained to the rear of the field passing the 1200 metres.

HES CHARLIES ANGEL – Driver Jye Coney was reprimanded under Rule 160(1) for completing the preliminary in the incorrect direction for a considerable distance.

 

RACE 7 – CORDINA CHICKEN FACTORY OUTLET PACE – 1609 metres

OFF THE CHARTS – Broke gait during the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was issued. Gave significant ground approaching the 800 metres and tired significantly over the concluding stages. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities. Connections were advised OFF THE CHARTS must complete one official trial for what was deemed to be an unsatisfactory performance.

OUTSIDE FIGHTER - Underwent a pre and post-race veterinary examination as per HRNSW animal welfare guidelines due to the gelding having its 224^th race start. No abnormalities were detected on either examination. Post-race swab sample.

FOXY DADA – Pre-race blood sample.

GREATGREAT BOULDER – Inclined to hang in during the early stages. The right outside of the draw in mobile barrier events will now be removed and the gelding will be returned to an outside the draw position.

 

RACE 8 – IRT HORSE TRANSPORT PACE – 1609 metres

MIKIBEQUICK – Hung out after the start.

GUILTY PARTY – Approaching the 1400 metres was placed in restricted room by BROWNIESATMIDNIGHT which shifted in and as a result GUILTY PARTY had to be steadied.

BALTUSROL – Post-race swab sample.

BROWNIESATMIDNIGHT – Approaching the 1400 metres shifted in when not quite clear of GUILTY PARTY resulting in that runner being tightened. Driver W Rixon was issued a reprimand under Rule 163(1)(a)(iiii) for causing interference.

LUVARESCHS – Pre-race blood sample. Improved three wide leaving the 1100 metres and crossed to the position outside the leader passing the 900 metres.
