RACE 1 – FORBES DIGGERS HRC PALMER HEAT 1 – 2040 metres
ULTIMATE COOKIE – Pre-race sample. Held up for clear racing room in the home straight on the final occasion and never fully tested in the run to the finish.
CAPTIAN LLANFAIR – Post-race sample.
MARABELLE – Held up for clear for racing room in the early stages of the home straight.
SURFIN AT MIDNIGHT – Held up for clear racing room in the home straight on the final occasion and never fully tested in the run to the finish.
RACE 2 – TELESCOPE TYRES HEAT 1 – 2040 metres
FLOYDY BOY – Inconvenienced leaving the back straight on the final occasion when trailing TENEACHWAY, which was giving ground.
TULHURST TOOT TOOT - Pre-race sample.
TENEACHWAY – Gave ground to be beaten 43m. Inconvenienced FLOYDY BOY which was trailing.
SMOOTH CHAKRA – Post-race sample. Driver M Rue was fined $50 under Rule 162(1)(h) for failing to have his drive in position at the start.
RACE 3 – RADIO 2PK/ROK FM HEAT 2 – 2040 metres
FOX TROT – Pre-race sample. Post-race sample.
HAPPY TULHURST – Inconvenienced leaving the 200m due to THE HEATS ON LEXY momentarily shifting out.
THE HEATS ON LEXY – Shifted out marginally leaving the 200m. HAPPY TULHURST was inconvenienced and shifted wider on the track.
JOHEMIAN – Held up for clear racing room rounding the home turn and in the early stages of the home straight.
CELEBRITY CRUISE – Held up for clear racing room rounding the home turn and in the early stages of the home straight.
RACE 4 – KENNARDS PARKES PALMER HEAT 2 – 2040 metres
CALM FRANCO – Pre-race sample. Galloped in the score up however regained its barrier position at the start. A warning was issued against the barrier manners.
ZUESS – Hung in during the early stages before being restrained out of the event leaving the 900m. Retired from the event and was stood down until the completion of one satisfactory trial prior to racing again. A post-race veterinary examination revealed pelvis soreness, this resulted in connections being advised that ZUESS must perform a satisfactory veterinary examination prior to racing again.
PHANTOM STAR – Post-race sample.
IRK MCGLURK – Over-raced during the early stages of the event. Inconvenienced leaving the 900m when ZUESS hung in and was restrained out of the event.
WHATABOUTBRONSON – Inconvenienced leaving the 900m when ZUESS hung in and was restrained out of the event.
JESSEJAMES SHANNON – Driver N Turnbull was fined $200 under Rule 156(2)(a) for applying the whip to his drive with more than a wrist only flicking action.
GABBYS SPORTSTAR – Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations due to the gelding starting in excess of 200 race starts. Neither examination revealed any abnormalities.
RACE 5 – PARKES LEAGUES CLUB PACE – 2040 metres
HAZZA IS WATCHING – Post-race sample.
SHE MAYBE BETTOR – Tired to be beaten 53m. A warning was issued against the racing manners of the mare. Trainer/ Driver M Turnbull explained that the mare over-raced during the early and middle stages and this may have resulted in the disappointing performance. Mr Turnbull advised that SHE MAYBE BETTOR is engaged to race at Bathurst (29th April 2026) and it was the intention to still race the mare if recovery from this evening was satisfactory.
LOYOLA GOLF – Over-raced when leading.
EXCUSE TO CULLECT – Tired to be beaten 62m. A warning was issued. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.
DRIVE TO THE BEACH – Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations due to the gelding starting in excess of 200 race starts. Neither examination revealed any abnormalities. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have bled from one nostril. Connections were advised that DRIVE TO THE BEACH would be stood down until the completion of one satisfactory trial.

RACE 6 – TAB.COM.AU PACE – 1660 metres
SINFUL KISS – Pre-race sample. Post-race sample.
AARON MINT – Out of position during the score up and at the start. Will continue to be placed outside the mobile barrier draw.
RACE 7 – COACHMAN HOTEL PALMER HEAT 3 – 2040 metres
SWEET SWEET TOOTH – Pre-race sample. Post-race sample.
COUNTRY MAJOR – Over-raced during the early and middle stages.
RACE 8 – GARRARDS PALMER HEAT 4 – 2040 metres
LAST FLITE – Severely checked at the 1000m when DESIDERIO hung in and galloped, which was racing in advance of LAST FLITE. Contacted the off-side sulky wheel of MITTYS THREE ACES NZ and paced roughly at the 150m.
GET UP BETTY – Post-race sample. Severely checked at the 1000m when DESIDERIO galloped.
DIAMOND BIKINI – Pre-race sample.
SHEZ A WARRIOR – Checked at the 1000m when DESIDIERIO galloped.
MITTYS THREE ACES NZ – Tightened for racing room between LAST FLITE and DESIDERIO at the 150m when DESIDERIO shifted out when insufficiently clear of MITTYS THREE ACES NZ. Off-side sulky wheel contacted by LAST FLITE in this incident.
CARIBBEAN PAT – Tired to be beaten a considerable distance and was stood down until the completion of one satisfactory trial.
DESIDERIO – Over-raced approaching the 1000m once occupying the lead. Hung in shortly after, contacted a marker peg and galloped. Severely checked LAST FLITE and GET UP BETTY. SHEZ A WARRIOR was checked and raced wider for a short distance. A warning was issued against the racing manners of the gelding. Driver N Turnbull pleaded guilty to a charge under Rule 163(1)(a)(iii) when shifting wider at the 150m he allowed his drive to do so when insufficiently clear of MITTYS THREE ACES NZ as a result that runner was tightened for racing room between DESIDIERO and LAST FLITE. This resulted in MITTYS THREE ACES NZ having its off-side sulky wheel contacted by LAST FLITE and that runner pacing roughly. The driving licence of N Turnbull was suspended for a period of 14 days with the suspension ordered to commence midnight 26 April 2026, following the Forbes race meeting on that date.
