RACE 1 – TAB VENUE MODE PACE – 1740 metres

AMERICAM – Over raced throughout the event.

FOR SIXES – Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.

KYCORDEN - Pre-race blood sample. Hung in entering the home straight for which a warning was issued.

 

RACE 2 – YIRRIBEE STUD PACE – 1740 metres

ARKLOW – Held up for clear running in the home straight and was not fully tested.

SHEZ BETTORS BABE - Pre-race blood sample. Inconvenienced approaching the 400 metres as a result of MODERN SHEEN and LEWENDON jostling.

MODERN SHEEN – Driver Jye Coney was issued a reprimand under Rule 163(1)(a)(iii) for causing interference, in that approaching the 400 metres when shifting wider on the track has engaged in a jostle with LEWENDON causing that runner to be inconvenienced. Shifted wider on the track approaching the 250 metres when not fully clear to do so resulting in MODERN SHEEN and LEWENDON locking wheels and LEWENDON being checked.

LEWENDON – Approaching the 400 metres when MODERN SHEEN shifted wider on the track, engaged in a jostle and was inconvenienced. Approaching the 250 metres when MODERN SHEEN shifted wider, was checked and locked wheels with that runner. Post-race swab sample.

 

RACE 3 – TAYLOR MAURER REMAX ELITE 2YO PACE – 1740 metres

LONESOME STRANGER - Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.

 

RACE 4 – DANIEL WOODS FUNERAL CARE 3YO PACE – 1740 metres

SHOOBEES LOU – Broke gait approaching the 1500 metres for which a warning was issued. Tired over the concluding stages to be beaten 60.5 metres. It was reported post-race the gelding pulled its near side shoe. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.

SWEET NICKY – Checked passing the 1500 metres as a result of SHOOBEES LOU breaking gait.

SEASIDE BOULEVARD - Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.

RACHELS LEGACY - Checked passing the 1500 metres as a result of SHOOBEES LOU breaking gait.

 

 

 

RACE 5 – POSEIDON ANIMAL HEALTH PACE – 1740 metres

LIFE GETS BETTER - Pre-race blood sample.

KARDESLER NZ – Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination as the gelding is 12 years of age. No abnormalities were reported. Broke gait approaching the passing the 1400 metres for which a warning was issued. Tired over the concluding stages to be beaten 43.9 metres. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.

BETTERTHANTHEBOYZ - Underwent a pre and post-race veterinary examination as the mare has had in excess of 200 race starts. Both examinations failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.

SPRING DELIGHT - Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.

HES A TERROR - Underwent a pre and post-race veterinary examination as the gelding has had in excess of 200 race starts. Both examinations failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.

 

RACE 6 – SETTLERS VILLAGE PACE – 1740 metres

FRESKOS ART - Underwent a pre and post-race veterinary examination as the mare has not raced for in excess of 12 months. Both examinations failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.

UNCLE TREV – Post-race swab sample.

CAPITALISM - Pre-race blood sample.

CHANCETOWIN - Raced roughly in the score up. Passing the 1500 metres broke gait for which a warning was issued. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.

MILLWOOD GRACE NZ – Held up entering the home straight before gaining clear running in the sprint lane.

 

RACE 7 – RIVERINA ENSUITE HIRE PACE – 1740 metres

IM ALRITE – Broke under pressure over the final 20 metres of the event and prior to all clear being given, Stewards determined Mr McRae meet his obligations and the placings were not affected, and all clear was given. Connections were advised the gelding would be stood down for two trials and 14 days.

REWATCH - Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.

DANIBOY – Broke after the start and took no competitive part in the event for which a warning was issued. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.

 

RACE 8 – WAGGA TRADESMAN ACCOUNTING SERVICES PACE – 1740 metres

SCHEMING – Held up in the early stages of the home straight before utilising the sprint lane. Post-race swab sample.

SCARED STIFF NZ – Driver Jackson Painting was reprimanded under Rule 168(1)(a) for careless driving, in that approaching the 150 metres when shifting wider on the track he has permitted his gelding to contact the sulky wheel of SHADES OF MIKI causing his runner to race roughly. Held up for clear running in the home straight and was not fully tested.

SHADES OF MIKI – Approaching the 150 metres had its near side sulky wheel contacted by SCARED STIFF NZ  as a result of that runner shifting wider on the track.

MIKIBEQUICK – Raced roughly rounding the first turn for which a warning was issued.

SPORTY DANCER – Held up entering the home straight before gaining clear running inside the final 50 metres.
