RACE 1 – SKY RACING ACTIVE PACE – 1609 metres

ROCKTAGONAL – Examined pre and post-race by the veterinarian with no abnormalities reported. 

MISTER TEDDY NZ – Post-race sample was taken.

PRINCESS MICKAYLA – Trainer G Panella was fined the sum of $100 under rule 273(2)(a) for having gear fitted incorrectly which needed replacement therefore delaying the start after having to return the stabling area.

HEIDISIECK NZ – Pre-race sample was taken. 

 

RACE 2 – CARMER STANDARDBREDS 3YO PACE – 1609 metres

TARAS TEMPTATION – Pre-race sample was taken.  Held up for clear running over the concluding stages and not fully tested. 

GOLDNGLITZ – Placed in restricted room as the field entered the home straight for the run to the finish went to the inside of NOTHING FINER which shifted in slightly and to the outside of LOCHINVAR LEADER which shifted out when attempting to gain clear running.

VALORIX – Driver G Panella was fined the sum of $50 under rule 162(1)(h) for failing to come up to the mobile prior to the start being affected.

BELIEVE IN CARMER – Driver A Delosa was fined the sum of $50 under rule 162(1)(h) for failing to come up to the mobile prior to the start being affected.

FEARFUL – Held up for clear running over the concluding stages and not fully tested.

LOCHINVAR LEADER – Post-race sample was taken.

DYNAMITE DANNI – Held up for clear running over the concluding stages and not fully tested.

 

RACE 3 – MITAVITE, LEAVING NOTHING TO CHANCE PACE – 1609 metres

SPUNKYS GOTSECRETS – Post-race sample was taken.

OHWHATIWOULDGIVE – Fractious during the early stages of the score up and continued to hang in throughout the early and middle stages of the score up.  A warning was issued.

HES CHARLIES ANGEL – Had a tendency to hang in and race roughly as the field negotiated the final turn.

OUR UNCLE JIM – Examined pre and post-race by the veterinarian with no abnormalities reported.  Pre-race sample was taken.

 

RACE 4 – RAGING BULL STANDING AT ARTISTIC LODGE PACE – 1609 metres

QUICKSHIFT GIRL – Post-race sample was taken.

RAYS REDEMPTION – Pre-race sample was taken. 

RADIANT AMBER – Examined pre and post-race by the veterinarian with no abnormalities reported. 

WAR WESTERN –

THE CID – Placed in restricted room shortly after entering the home straight for the run to the finish when to the outside of THE TAX CULLECTOR which had a tendency to hang out.  Held up for clear running over the concluding stages and not fully tested.

THE TAX CULLECTOR – Had a tendency to hang out whilst under pressure over the final 600 metres of the event.

 

RACE 5 – ALABAR AUSTRALIA PACE – 1609 metres

SUGAR PIE HONEY – Had a tendency to over race throughout the early and middle stages of the event.  Held up for clear running over the concluding stages and not fully tested.

MONTALBANO – Pre-race sample was taken. 

LACEYS LAD NZ – Post-race sample was taken.

METALLICA MAN – Held up for clear running in the latter stages of the run to the finish.

 

RACE 6 – COBBITTY EQUINE FARMS PACE – 1609 metres

NEXT TO ME NZ – Pre-race sample was taken.

ANTETOKOUNMPO – Post-race sample was taken.

 

RACE 7 – TOOHEYS PACE – 2030 metres

RAINBOWSEND – Had a tendency to over race during the early and middle stages of the event whilst leading.  Post-race sample was taken.

BIGGERBETTERBEST – A post-race veterinary examination revealed it to have bled from both nostrils.  As this was its first attack connections were advised it would be stood down for a period of three months in addition to the completion of one requalifying trial and veterinary certificate of fitness.

NEED FOUR SPEED – Had a tendency to hang out when placed in somewhat restricted room entering the first turn and as a result was hampered when to the inside of BARRYS ROSE which shifted in slightly coming to the first turn.

BARRYS ROSE – Pre-race sample was taken.  Had a tendency to race roughly as the field negotiated the first turn when being restrained.

LINE OF COURAGE – Had a tendency to race roughly in the middle stages of the score up for a short distance.

 

RACE 8 – GARRARDS HORSE AND HOUND PACE – 1609 metres

GIGTANA – Pre-race sample was taken.  Broke stride shortly after the start was affected.  Connections were advised that it will now be excluded from the mobile barrier draw given its limited experience.  Broke stride as the field negotiated the final turn free of interference.  Connections were advised it would be stood down until it can requalify on one occasion.

SO CAN EYE – Post-race sample was taken.

 

RACE 9 – THE TAB APP PACE – 2030 metres

WALLAROY BOY – Examined pre and post-race by the veterinarian with no abnormalities reported.

CAPTAIN DORIAN – Post-race sample was taken.

OUR ART CHRISTIAN NZ –

ROCKNROLL TONY – Examined pre and post-race by the veterinarian with no abnormalities reported.  Had a tendency to hang in throughout the event in particular racing into the back straight on the first occasion where it locked wheels with GUNFIGHTERSGHOST for a short distance.  A warning was issued.

SMOLENSKI – Pre-race sample was taken.

IRE OF THE DRAGON – Driver R Atkins was fined the sum of $200 under rule 156(2)(a) in that when applying the whip over the concluding stages employed an action which engaged the shoulder.  Post-race sample was taken.

GUNFIGHTERSGHOST – Momentarily locked wheels and was hampered racing into the back straight on the first occasion when to the inside of ROCKNROLL TONY.

REIGN MAKER – Examined pre and post-race by the veterinarian with no abnormalities reported.  Had a tendency to over race in the early and middle stages of the event.
