RACE 1 – CLUB MENANGLE WARATAH FINAL – 1609 metres

WATERMAIN LADY – Examined prior to the event after the mare got its leg over the tie up rail and was passed fit to take its place. Post-race swab sample.

OUR ROCKY – Broke stride during the early stages of the score up. After considering the recent record of the gelding, a warning was issued.

AVENGER NZ – Pre-race blood sample.

SPUNKYS GOTSECRETS – Caught racing wide in the early stages of the event before working forward to the position outside the leader passing the 1200 metres.

PIRANI PRINCESS – Pre-race blood sample.

MEMPHIS FURY – Caught racing wide in the early stages of the event before being restrained to the tail of the field passing the 1200 metres. Held up in the home straight and not fully tested.

RACE 2 – TAB WE’RE ON PACE – 1609 metres

JORGE STREET – Pre-race blood sample. Worked forward to the lead passing the 1200 metres. Post-race swab sample.

HUGO MAGUIRE NZ – Trainer Jarrod Alchin was fined $100 under Rule 210 for the late notification of Bailey McDonough as the driver of the gelding.

RAVISHING SLOY – Checked passing the 1200 metres when THALASSOPHOBIA was retired from the event.

LOUIE LOU I NZ – Pre-race blood sample. Caught racing wide in the early stages of the event before working forward to the position outside the leader passing the 1200 metres.

THALASSOPHOBIA – Retired from the event passing the 1200 metres checking RAVISHING SLOY as a result of the near side hopple loop breaking.

RACE 3 – ULTRA AIR PACE – 1609 metres

PETES CRUNCH TIME – Post-race swab sample.

BALTUSROL – Held up in the early stages of the home straight before contacting the sulky of REWATCH when that runner broke stride and contacted the sulky of COLOSSAL HOPE passing the 300 metres causing REWATCH to be checked and race roughly and BALTUSROL to be checked and break stride.

CARLO GAMBINO NZ – Examined prior to and following the running of this event as the gelding is 12 years of age. The examinations failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities. Inconvenienced passing the 300 metres when REWATCH broke stride and contacted the sulky of COLOSSAL HOPE causing that runner to be checked and raced roughly which in turn caused BALTUSROL to contact the sulky of REWATCH and be checked and break stride.

MR TEDDY NZ – Pre-race blood sample.

MESSERATI – Over raced during the middle stages of the event.

MIKI COHEN NZ – Pre-race blood sample.

REWATCH – Over raced when racing behind the leader until a point passing the 300 metres when the colt broke stride and contacted the cross bar of the sulky of COLOSSAL HOPE and as a result was checked and raced roughly causing BALTUSROL to contact the sulky of REWATCH and break stride and further inconveniencing CARLO GAMBINO NZ. A post-race veterinary examination of the colt failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities. After considering the recent record of the colt, it was given its last chance to race truly.

COLOSSAL HOPE – Worked forward to the lead passing the 1100 metres.

RACE 4 – IRT PACE – 2300 metres

SWEET STRIKE – Held up in the early stages of the home straight before gaining clear running passing the 150 metres.

HEIDSIECK NZ – Trainer KerryAnn Morris was fined $50 under Rule 268A(1) for failing to lodge a gear notification for the gelding.

ARNIES ARMY NZ – Pre-race blood sample.

GOLDEN TRIBE – Shifted out under pressure in the home straight. After considering the recent record of the gelding, a warning was issued.

FRANCO NOVELIST NZ – Worked forward to the lead passing the 1600 metres. Post-race swab sample.

CALEXICO – Pre-race blood sample. Improved three wide from the 1700 metres until obtaining the position outside the leader passing the 1600 metres.

RACE 5 – BESTINBEDS.COM.AU BILL GREEN FFA – 2300 metres

GLITTER AINT GOLD – Driver Jett Turnbull was requested to exercise greater care when shifting ground over the concluding stages where ISTHISJUSTFANTASY was placed in restricted room and contacting the sulky of GLITTER AINT GOLD before racing roughly.

SOUTH SEAS ROCK NZ – Trainer Jason Grimson was fined $100 under Rule 210 for the late notification of Bailey McDonough as the driver of the gelding. Stewards questioned Bailey McDonough with regards to the performance of the gelding which gave ground over the concluding stages to finish in 10^th placing beaten 30 metres. Mr McDonough was unable to provide the Stewards with an explanation for the performance of the gelding other than he felt it raced keenly behind the leader. A post-race veterinary examination of the gelding failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities. After considering the explanation provided by Mr McDonough, Stewards determined to note his comments.

ISTHISJUSTFANTASY – Placed in restricted room over the concluding stages as a result of JILLIBY NITRO shifting out under pressure and in turn shifting GLITTER AINT GOLD wider on the track causing ISTHISJUSTFANTASY to contact the sulky of GLITTER AINT GOLD to be checked and race roughly.

CAPTAIN BELLASARIO – Post-race swab sample.

SWEET ON LEXY – Pre-race blood sample. Caught racing wide in the early stages of the event before being restrained to the tail of the field passing the 1800 metres.

TRIPLE EIGHT NZ – Pre-race blood sample.

NERANO NZ – Worked forward to the lead passing the 1800 metres. Shifted out under pressure. After considering the recent record of the gelding a warning was issued.

JILLIBY NITRO – Shifted out under pressure in the home straight causing GLITTER AINT GOLD to be shifted wider on the track and place ISTHISJUSTFANTASY in restricted room causing that runner to contact the sulky of GLITTER AINT GOLD and race roughly. After considering the recent record of the gelding, a warning was issued. Driver Jason Lee was reminded of his obligations to ensure he continues to drive in a manner to prevent his runners from shifting ground.

RACE 6 – SUCCESS STUD NSW TROTTERS DERBY (GROUP1) – 2300 metres

WHAT THE TOOTH – Post-race swab sample.

KEAYANG BAZLENKA – Pre-race blood sample. Over raced through the middle stages. Broke under pressure passing the 400 metres and severely checked ELLE PERFECTO. After considering the recent record of the gelding, a warning was issued.

HOWDY MATE – Broke stride free of interference passing the 700 metres. After considering the recent record of the gelding, a warning was issued.

PASTOR DUNBAR – Post-race swab sample.

MUNNY THE MUNSTER – Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.

ELLE PERFECTO – Pre-race blood sample. Severely checked approaching the 400 metres when KEAYANG BAZLENKA broke stride.

RACE 7 – WOODLAND STUD BULLI TROTTERS CUP – 2300 metres

I AM HELLBOUND – Post-race swab sample.

AFFAIRE DE COVER - Examined prior to and following the running of this event as the gelding has competed in excess of 200 race starts. The examinations failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities. Checked behind the tiring GATESYS GEM passing the 500 metres.

SUNNY GEE - Examined prior to and following the running of this event as the gelding has competed in excess of 200 race starts. These examinations failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities. Broke after the start. After considering the recent record of the gelding, it will continue to be placed outside the standing start draw.

ALMIGHTY FEAR NZ – Fractious prior to the start of the event and swung sideways as the tapes were released severely checking RAKERO BLAZE NZ. After considering the recent record of the gelding, it will continue to be placed right outside the standing start draw.

GATESYS GEM – Pre-race blood sample. Worked forward to the lead passing the 1800 metres. Tired over the concluding stages of the event checking COURAGE STRIDE and AFFAIRE DE COVER. A post-race examination of the mare revealed it to be suffering from atrial fibrillation. Stewards acting in accordance with Rule 101C ordered the mare be stood down for a period of 14 days, the completion of an ECG and one requalifying trial.

COURAGE STRIDE – Checked approaching the 400 metres behind the tiring GATESYS GEM.

RAKERO BLAZE NZ – Severely checked after the start when ALMIGHTY FEAR NZ swung sideways. Checked passing the 1450 metres and placed in a three wide position when SPEEDY LOVER broke stride.

SPEEDY LOVER – Broke stride passing the 1450 metres checking RAKERO BLAZE NZ and causing that runner to be forced into a three wide position. After considering the recent record of the gelding, a warning was issued.

IMPERIAL MONARCH NZ – Began badly. Held up in the early stages of the home straight before gaining clear running passing the 100 metres.

TORO STRIDE NZ – Pre-race blood sample. Galloped out. After considering the recent record of the gelding, it will continue to be placed outside the standing start draw. Gave ground over the concluding stages.

RACE 8 – KING OF SWING STANDING AT COBBITTY EQUINE FARM 3YO PACE – 1609 metres

LOCHINVAR MARCELLO – Pre-race blood sample.

UPTOWN CHANCE – Held up in the home straight and not fully tested.

PAPPI ROCKS – Post-race swab sample.

ROCK WITH THE BEST – Held up in the home straight and not fully tested.

BETTORLEFTALONE – Pre-race blood sample. Improved 3 wide from the 1000 metres until obtaining the position outside the leader passing the 900 metres.

RACE 9 – AUSTRALIAN PACING GOLD LADYSHIP PACE – 1609 metres

CHARLIES ACE NZ – Trainer Troy Williams was fined $100 under Rule 210 for the late notification of KerryAnn Morris as the driver of the mare. Examined prior to and following the running of this event as the mare has competed in excess of 200 race starts. The examinations failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities. Slow to begin.

JILLIBY ILLUMINATE NZ – Held up in the early stages of the home straight before gaining clear running passing the 100 metres.

LUVARESCHS – Pre-race blood sample. Gave ground over the concluding stages.

FARFALLA STRIDE – Held up in the home straight and not fully tested.
