RACE 1 – CONCELL PARK PRODUCE 2YO TROTTERS FOUNDATION HEAT 4 – 1609 metres

CHIEF KENNY – Leaving the 100 metres commenced to hang in under pressure.

HILLDALE HILTON – Post-race sample were obtained.

MAJARO GIRL – Pre-race samples were obtained.

 

RACE 2 – BUBBA GUMP PEST CONTROL TROTTERS MOBILE – 2300 metres

ORIA – Leaving the 600 metres commenced to give ground and tired over the concluding stages.  A post-race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities.  Trainer/driver B Fitzpatrick was unable to provide an explanation for the performance.  ORIA was placed on its last chance to race truly.

SAN JUAN MOUNTAIN – Pre-race samples were obtained.

VALTINO – Inclined to trot roughly during the middle stages.

YOUR MAJESTY – Out of position at the start and will continue to be excluded from the mobile barrier draw.  Post-race samples were obtained.

 

RACE 3 – AGT SLOTS 3YO PACE – 1609 metres

ZEUS LIGHTNING NZ – Pre-race samples were obtained.  Post-race samples were obtained.

 

RACE 4 – FARMER JOES CHICKEN PAC – 1609 metres

HYKEEPMEPOSTED – Pre-race samples were obtained.

HESAA LISTER – Approaching the 300 metres shifted out at the same time HYKEEPMEPOSTED shifted out forward of HESAA LISTER and as a result HESSA LISTER shifted wider than anticipated which caused BETTOR BE LUCKY to be taken out toward MICKEY BE NIMBLE.

BETTOR BE LUCKY – Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations as per HRNSW animal welfare guidelines due to the gelding competing its 252nd race start.  No abnormalities were detected on either examination.  Leaving the 300 metres had to be carried away from HESAA LISTER which shifted out.

TRISTAR FOR CHRIS – Post-race samples were obtained.

MICKEY BE NIMBLE – Approaching the 250 metres was taken wider by BETTOR BE LUCKY.

SAPPHIRESNDIAMONDS – Near the 250 metres had to be steadied when taken wider by MICKEY BE NIMBLE.

CLASSICMAJOR – Passing the 250 metres had to be steadied and taken wider when SAPPHIRESNDIAMONDS was taken out by MICKEY BE NIMBLE.

 

RACE 5 – HYLAND SPORTSWEAR PACE – 1609 metres

SNIPERS FIRE – Shortly after the start became unbalanced and broke gait.  A warning was issued.

THE EX HORSEIST – Shortly after the start  had to be steadied away from SNIPERS FIRE when that runner broke gait.

PAPI ROCKS – Pre-race samples were obtained.  Post-race samples were obtained.

OUR UNCLE JIM – Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations as per HRNSW animal welfare guidelines due to the gelding competing its 233rd race start.  No abnormalities were detected on either examination. 

 

RACE 6 – DAHUA COMMUNITY PACE – 1609 metres

CHANGE TACT NZ – Pre-race samples were obtained.  Unable to secure clear running at any stage in the home straight and was not fully tested.

SPIRIT OF ARION NZ – Post-race samples were obtained.

 

RACE 7 – WARDS ACCOUNTING GROUP PACE – 1609 metres

BROWNIESATMIDNIGHT – Pre-race samples were obtained.  Unable to secure clear running until leaving the 100 metres.

CARLO GAMBINO NZ – Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations as per HRNSW animal welfare guidelines due to the gelding being 12 years of age.  No abnormalities were detected on either examination. 

JILLIBY FABIO – Led the event in the early stages before surrendering the lead and racing in the position behind the leader.  The gelding failed to run on over the concluding stages.  A post-race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities.  Trainer C Judd explained that the use of the gelding during the fast first quarter may have been detrimental on the rain affected track. He added that pre-race he was confident and said that the gelding is suited leading or taking cover. C Judd explained that he would review how the gelding recovered in the days subsequent before deciding on its next race start.

DEAMON BLUE NZ – Post-race samples were obtained.

TITIAN RAIDER – Raced three wide in the early stages before crossing to the position outside of the leader near the 1000 metres. 

 

RACE 8 – YIRRIBEE STUD PACE – 1609 metres

MIKI COHEN NZ – Slow to begin.

WAMBOYNEINAMERICA – Pre-race samples were obtained.

DESSIE GEE – Leaving the 100 metres was tightened and had to be steadied away from CLASSIC MISSION NZ which shifted in.

KANENA PROVLIMA – Post-race samples were obtained.

CLASSIC MISSION NZ – Unable to secure clear running until leaving the 100 metres at which point the gelding was directed in which caused DESSIE GEE to be hampered.  Driver C Hart was issued a reprimand under rule 163(1)(a)(iii) for causing interference.
