RACE 1 – THE TAB APP PACE – 1740 metres

DONNIE MAC – Post-race swab sample.

CORZAN DRAMA – Pre-race blood sample.

THE BANKER NZ – Broke after the start for which a warning was issued.

 

RACE 2 – YIRRIBEE STUD SUPER MAIDEN – 1740 metres

FLASH JOHNSON – Shifted out under pressure approaching the 150 metres and inconvenienced IMON NZ for which a warning was issued.

WAITANDSEE - Trainer James Rattray was fined $50 under Rule 268A(1) for failing to lodge a gear notification for the gelding. Raced roughly passing the 1500 metres.

THROWDOWN HOEDOWN – Approaching the 1450 metres jumped what appeared to be a dry patch on the track and raced roughly.

TEDDY LOU – Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.

IMON NZ – Inconvenienced approaching the 150 metres when FLASH JOHNSON shifted up the track. Driver Jackson Painting’s left foot slipped from the foot rest momentarily when activating gear.

 

RACE 3 – $5,000 LUCKY DOOR PRIZE TOMORROW EVENING PACE – 1740 metres

TUFFASNAILS – Inconvenienced as a result of KRAKEY being checked and shifted down the track approaching the first turn.

KRAKEY – Approaching the first turn was checked as a result of MAJOR HAYLEY shifting down the track.

FOLLOW THE MONEY – Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.

MAJOR HAYLEY – Pre-race blood sample. Driver Abby Sanderson pleaded guilty to a charge under Rule 163(1)(a)(iii) for causing interference, in that approaching the first turn she has allowed MAJOR HAYLEY to shift down the track when not sufficiently clear of KRAKEY causing that runner to be checked. Driver Abby Sanderson had her licence to drive in races suspended for a period of 7 days to commence midnight 6 June 2026.  In assessing penalty, Stewards took into account Ms Sandersons guilty plea, her record in relation to the rule and the circumstances of this incident.

 

RACE 4 – WOODCHOPPING EXHIBITION TOMORROW EVENING WARATAH HEAT – 1740 metres

GEM N EM NZ – Post-race blood sample.

SNAKE OIL – Hung out rounding the final turn and continued to hang out in the home straight for which a warning was issued.

ARENDELLE – Pre-race blood sample.

 

RACE 5 – HRNSW GUARANTEED LADYSHIP PACE – 1740 metres

CAPTAIN MOLLY – Driver Abby Sanderson was queried regarding the performance of the filly which after starting $1.50 favourite failed to run on over the concluding stages to finish in 6^th position beaten 12.2 metres. Ms Sanderson stated there was early speed in the event and caught tree wide as her filly wasn’t travelling well, she was obliged to restrain to the rear of the field until obtaining a run three wide with cover into the event however CAPTAIN MOLLY failed to run on over the concluding stages. Ms Sanderson felt the performance of the filly was somewhat disappointing and may look to make gear adjustments for future starts.

PIRANI PRINCESS – Held up entering the home straight until gaining clear running passing the 100 metres.

RACE 6 – NUTRIEN EQUINE STANDARDBRED 3YO PACE – 1740 metres

I AM RAVISHING – Dislodged its near side rein burr during the score up. Slow to begin from the mobile. Tired over the concluding stages to be beaten 96.6 metres. I AM RAVISHING will now be required to complete one requalifying trial. Stewards considered the filly’s record having been stood down for one requalifying trial at its previous, however were mindful of the filly having its first start for a new stable and hadn’t started for 2 months therefore not increasing the penalty to two requalifying trials. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.

ISLAND YANKEE – Checked passing the 950 metres as a result of FAVOURED GRACE jumping an object.

FAVOURED GRACE – Approaching the 950 metres jumped a rein burr dislodged by I AM RAVISHING in the score up.

UPTOWN CHANCE – Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.

PIRANI PERFECT – Checked passing the 950 metres as a result of FAVOURED GRACE jumping an object. Tired over the concluding stages to be beaten 93 metres and will now be required to complete one requalifying trial. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.

 

RACE 7 – CAMPBELLS COMMENTS PACE – 1740 metres

WICKED WIZARD – Pre-race blood sample.

JILLIBY RYDER – Approaching the 400 metres was checked behind the tiring NICE WON GARY.

OUR ROCKY – Post-race swab sample.

NICE WON GARY – Tired to be beaten 60.8 metres for which a warning was issued. At the request of connections was placed back in the mobile draw.

 

RACE 8 – M C P MEDIA PACE – 1740 metres

BOULEVARD BART – Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.

EBONY KARALTA – Raced roughly after the start.

MCBART – Driver Jack Stockton was examined by the paramedics and passed fit to drive after being dislodged from the sulky during the pre-race circle when BOULEVARD BART reared.

FOREVER ON THE PUNT – Approaching the first turn was placed into restricted room when WE DEALIN DIAMONDS shifted down the track.

WE DEALIN DIAMONDS – Driver Tasmyn Poter was issued a reprimand under Rule 163(1)(a)(iii) for causing interference, in that approaching the first turn when shifting down the track she has placed FOREVER ON THE PUNT into restricted room.

 

RACE 9 – CALCUTTA @ RIVERINA HOTEL TONIGHT PACE – 1740 metres

DANGEROUS – Fractious during the score up and was out of position at the start for which a warning was issued. Post-race swab sample.
