RACE 1 – SUCCESS STUD EQUINE BREEDING 3YO TROTTERS FOUNDATION HEAT 5 – 2300 metres

LONLEY ROAD – Pre-race blood samples were obtained.  Leaving the 200 metres became unbalanced and broke gait.  In view of its recent record connections were advised that LONLEY ROAD would be stood down until it can complete one satisfactory official trial.

MAXIMUM STRIDE – Broke gait at the start.  A warning was issued.  Leaving the 1800 metres became unbalanced and broke gait.  A further warning was issued.

GLADIATRIX – Post-race swab samples were obtained.

 

RACE 2 – MULTIQUIP AGGREGATES TROTTERS MOBILE – 1609 metres

PRINCESS DU FER – Post-race swab samples were obtained.

WATTS UP THE HILL – Pre-race blood samples were obtained.  Underwent a pre and post-race veterinary examination as per HRNSW animal welfare guidelines due to the gelding having its first race start since 24 June 2025.  No abnormalities were detected.  Shortly after the start became unbalanced and broke gait.  A warning was issued.  Passing the 250 metres became unbalanced and broke gait.  An additional warning was applied.

AFFAIRE DE COVER – Underwent a pre and post-race veterinary examination as per HRNSW animal welfare guidelines due to the gelding competing in its 221^st race start.  No abnormalities were detected.

MAJESTIC FUNDS – Raced three wide in the early stages before working forward to the position outside of the leader near the 900 metres.  Gave ground over the concluding stages.

ADDICTIVE STRIDE – Slow to begin.

 

RACE 3 – APG 2YO COLTS AND GELDINGS PRELUDE – 1609 metres

RIVVIN REYNARD – Pre-race blood samples were obtained. 

DON HUNTER – Leaving the 500 metres became hampered by LOCHINVAR JAZZ which was inclined to hang out which carried DON HUNTER wider until passing the 300 metres.  Post-race swab samples were obtained.

WICKED MOTION – Raced roughly over the final 100 metres resulting in the colt having to be steadied.  Passing the 400 metres obtained a run to the inside when LOCHINVAR JAZZ who was leading hung out.

OUR MAIN MAN – Raced roughly after the start.  Hung out under pressure over the final 250 metres.  A post-race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities.  Driver J Callaghan explained that trainer L McCarthy would look to make some gear adjustments prior to the final in the hope that the colt becomes more tractable.

LOCHINVAR JAZZ – Leaving the 500 metres inclined to hang out significantly and failed to run on over the concluding stages.  A post-race veterinary examination revealed some aged abrasions to the chest region. Driver R Morris explained that the colt had been working well but was involved in a training accident approximately 10 days earlier.  He added that the colt was cleared by his own veterinarian of any significant abnormalities, although he did suffer some superficial abrasions to his chest. Therefore, he did not use his normal one-legged spreader and applied normal bilateral spreaders. R Morris said that LOCHINVAR JAZZ may have resented the spreaders.  R Morris explained that it would be the stables intention to re-apply a one-legged spreader at the colt’s next start.  R Morris’ explanation was noted. 

SPECIALS POSTER – Leaving the 500 metres was hampered and forced to shift wider around LOCHINVAR JAZZ which hung out significantly.

 

RACE 4 – PRYDE’S EXCEPTIONAL ALWAYS TROTTERS MOBILE – 1609 metres

VALTINO – Pre-race blood samples were obtained.  Out of position at the start.  A warning was issued.  Passing the 900 metres became unbalanced and broke gait.  A warning was issued. 

THE PRIESTESS – Broke gait at the start and will be continued to be excluded from the mobile barrier draw.

PARAMOUNT KIWI NZ – Passing the 1500 metres became unbalanced and broke gait.  The gelding will be continued to be excluded from the mobile barrier draw. 

YOUR MAJESTY – Post-race swab samples were obtained.

 

RACE 5 – APG 2YO FILLIES PRELUDE – 1609 metres

PEACHESNCREAM – Pre-race blood samples were obtained.  Post-race swab samples were obtained.

DARK VELOCITY – Broke its head check bit during the event.

 

RACE 6 – SOOTHA NERVES & STRESS PACE – 1609 metres

KEAYANG SANTIAGO – Pre-race blood samples were obtained.  Unable to secure clear running until passing the 200 metres at which point the gelding was inclined to race roughly.

LUV THE NITELIFE – Underwent a pre and post-race veterinary examination as per HRNSW animal welfare guidelines due to the mare having her first race start since 12 April 2025.  No abnormalities were detected. 

CHANGE TACT NZ – Post-race swab samples were obtained.

 

RACE 7 – CORDINA FOOD CO PACE – 1609 metres

FORGIVE AND FORGET – Pre-race blood samples were obtained.

PERFECTDELIGHT – Post-race swab samples were obtained.

KINGS FURY – Improved three wide in the middle stages before crossing to the position outside of the leader near the 800 metres.

VESPA STRIDE – Unable to secure clear running in the latter stages of the home straight and was not fully tested.

WILLS WAY – Inclined to hang in when placed under pressure near the 250 metres.

 

RACE 8 – KING OF SWING STANDING AT COBBITTY EQUINE FARM PACE – 1609 metres

GIPSY PRINCESS – Failed to run on over the final 200 metres.

CARLO GAMBINO NZ – Pre-race blood samples were obtained.  Underwent a pre and post-race veterinary examination as per HRNSW animal welfare guidelines due to the gelding being 12 years of age.  No abnormalities were detected.

SKY BLU – Post-race swab samples were obtained.

 

RACE 9 – CATTLEWASH STANDING AT YIRRIBEE PACE – 1609 metres

QUIET STORM – Unable to secure clear running until passing the 200 metres.

CYA ART NZ – Pre-race blood samples were obtained.

CLASSIC MISSION NZ – Post-race swab samples were obtained.
