RACE 1 – TAB VENUE MODE PACE – 1740 metres

LETSTACOBOUTIT – Pre-race blood sample.

HES A TERROR - A pre and post-race veterinary examination was conducted due to the horse having competed in excess of 200 race starts. Both examinations failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.

IM HARVEY SPECTRE NZ – Held up for clear running and was not fully tested.

GO COLOUR MY WORLD NZ – Post-race swab sample.

KRISTYSGIRL – Caught three wide early and over raced while being restrained to the rear of the field.

 

RACE 2 – YIRRIBEE STUD PACE – 1740 metres

MASTER MIKI – Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.

GLENBURNS WATERS – Broke during the score up and was out of position at the start for which a warning was issued. Took no competitive part in the event.

KYCORDEN – Held up in the early stages of the home straight before gaining clear running passing the 150 metres.

LESSISMORE – Held up in the early stages of the home straight before gaining clear running passing the 50 metres.

CHANCETOWIN – Driver Amy Diebert was reprimanded under Rule 168(1)(a) for careless driving, in that approaching the 150 metres when attempting to take a run between SECRET LINE and MISS HERMES there was insufficient room resulting in CHANCETOWIN being placed into restricted room. Held up in the home straight and was not fully tested.

 

RACE 3 – SUCCESS STUD PACE – 1740 metres

WORTH EVERY CENT - Pre-race blood sample. Held up for clear running and was not fully tested.

TILLY DEEVINNE - Pre-race blood sample. Hung out shortly after the start and contacted MADDIE causing that runner to be checked and break. Given the recent record of TILLY DEEVINNE, the filly will now be placed outside the draw in future starts. Trainer/Driver Jackson Painting was questioned regarding the overall performance of the filly after starting $1.50 fav, TILLY DEEVINNE was able to lead before failing to run on to be beaten 7.9 metres to finish in 6^th position. Mr Painting explained he was disappointed in the performance and he intends to review the filly’s future in his stable.

MADDIE – Checked and broke after the start as a result of TILLY DEEVINNE hanging out.

MAJOR MAVERICK – Held up for clear running and was not fully tested.

MARINNA MONSOON – Held up in the latter stages of the home straight.

TIGER IN HEAVEN – Raced roughly after the start and will be continued outside the mobile barrier draw.

BIGWHEEL BOMBA - A pre and post-race veterinary examination was conducted due to the horse not having started for in excess of 12 months. Both examinations failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities. Post-race swab sample. Trainer Gerald Painting was questioned regarding the seemingly improved performance of the horse. Mr Painting explained the horse was having its first start for the stable after an extended break and he was happy with the work of the horse leading into today’s event.

 

RACE 4 – TASCO PETROLEUM 3YO FILLIES PACE – 1740 metres

PETES LITTLE MOLLY – Raced roughly in the score up checking RACHELS LEGACY. Commenced to tire from the 400 metres to be eaten 80.6 metres. Given the overall individual mile rate of 1:57.8, PETES LITTLE MOLLY was issued its last chance to race truly. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.

MAGGIEJAYNE – Raced roughly after the start and continued to race roughly rounding the first turn for which a warning was issued. Approaching the 150 metres raced roughly under pressure. Given the recent record of MAGGIEJAYNE, it will be required to perform one requalifying trial.

YIRRADIVA - Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.

RACHELS LEGACY - Pre-race blood sample. Checked and raced roughly in the score up.

 

RACE 5 – WALSH & BLAIR LAWYERS 3YO COLTS & GELDINGS PACE – 1740 metres

TRIPLE THREAT – Gave ground over the concluding stages to be beaten 44.4 metres.

ROCKY ROCKS - Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.

WHEREYABINSKIPPIN – Hung out and raced greenly throughout the event and was issued its last chance to race truly. Tired over the concluding stages to be beaten 61 metres. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.

MIKI ALMIGHTY – Gave ground over the concluding stages to be beaten 41.5 metres.

 

RACE 6 – HRNSW GUARANTEED LADYSHIP PACE – 1740 metres

This race was stopped shortly after the start when JANIE BLU galloped in the score up and fell. The race was rescheduled to be run at 4.23pm. All horses were examined by the veterinarian and were passed fit to start with the exception of JANIE BLU which was declared a late scratching at 3.58pm.

 

CALI MAE – Approaching the 300 metres hung in and contacted marker pegs before giving ground to be beaten 37 metres.

SECRETS KEPT – Held up for clear running in the home straight and was not fully tested.

ROLLONART - Pre-race blood sample.

JANIE BLU – Declared a late scratching at 3.58pm acting on veterinary advice after falling in the score up. A veterinary examination found the mare to have lacerations to the near side elbow, abrasions to the off fore pastern and 3/5 lame in the off foreleg. In accordance with veterinary advice, JANIE BLU was stood down for 14 days and a veterinary certificate of clearance. In view of the mare’s recent record, the mare was excluded from the mobile draw and will be required to requalify on one occasion.

SHARP INTEREST –Out of position at the start and will continue to be placed outside the mobile draw. Post-race swab sample.

 

RACE 7 – D & L EARTHMOVING PACE – 1740 metres

FAVOURED GRACE – Post-race swab sample.

YARRAMAN JOLT - Caught three wide early and over raced while being restrained to the rear of the field.

FLIP A COIN – Declared a late scratching at 1.26pm due to a float breakdown.

DORRISTOPAYTHEBILL - Pre-race blood sample.

 

RACE 8 – WOODLANDS STUD PACE – 1740 metres

YUKON BE SERIOUS NZ - Pre-race blood sample.

VIEW THE ART – Over raced in the early stages when racing outside the leader before being restrained to take cover behind MIKI LOCH, however approaching the 1000 metres was still racing very keenly leaving Driver Jack Stockton no option but to improve three wide to a position outside the leader where the mare continued to over race before tiring over the concluding stages to be beaten 47.5 metres. In view of the racing manners of VIEW THE ART the mare was placed on its last chance to race truly. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.

LILLY LOTUS – Galloped out for which a warning was issued.

HITCH TO HIS STAR – Cast its near fore shoe prior to the start. Post-race swab sample.

RACE 9 – JACINTA BODEL HOMES PACE – 1740 metres

JUST ROLLYOUROWN NZ – Held up for clear running in the home straight and was not fully tested.

MESSAGE BANK – Held up in the early part of the home straight before gaining clear running passing the 50 metres.
