RACE 1 – THE TAB APP SUPER MAIDEN – 1740 metres

AUSSIE SECRET – Galloped for a considerable distance during the score up. Given it was the filly’s first race start, connections were advised it would be placed on its last chance in the mobile barrier draw.

JIVEANDWHISPER – Pre-race swab sampled.

LITTLE MIRACLES – Pre-race swab sampled.

PAPIER MACHE – The gelding was placed back in the barrier draw for future mobile start races. Post-race swab sampled.

THE KID BILLY – Gave ground over the concluding stages.

RACE 2 – DANIEL WOODS FUNERAL CARE PACE – 1740 metres

BET SHEZA LADY – Pre-race swab sampled. Post-race swab sampled.

BETTERTHANTHEBOYZ – Examined by the club veterinarian pre and post-race as it has had over 200 race starts and was cleared of any significant abnormalities.

HES A TERROR – Examined by the club veterinarian pre and post-race as it has had over 200 race starts and was cleared of any significant abnormalities. Driver P McRae was queried regarding the below market expectations performance of the gelding, he stated it was always going to be difficult from the draw as the gelding is somewhat one paced. He added he wasn’t disappointed with the run, and he felt the gelding finished off fairly well after being pushed wide rounding the home turn which made it difficult to get into the finish given the way the race had been run.

RACE 3 – TAYLOR MAURER REMAX ELITE PACE – 1740 metres

BULLETIN – Post-race swab sampled.

IM WESLEY – Pre-race swab sampled. Hung out under pressure in the home straight.

RACE 4 – POSEIDON ANIMAL HEALTH LADYSHIP PACE – 1740 metres

SUNNYWITHACHANCE – Broke gait free of interference near the 1000 metres for which a warning was issued. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare to have a small laceration to the near fore heel.

SNEAK A PEEK NZ – Inconvenienced leaving the 1000 metres by the galloping SUNNYWITHACHANCE.

APPLAUDING – Post-race swab sampled.

HEAVENS BADGIRL – Inconvenienced leaving the 1000 metres by the galloping SUNNYWITHACHANCE.

VINCHESKA – Pre-race swab sampled. Inconvenienced leaving the 1000 metres by the galloping SUNNYWITHACHANCE.

RACE 5 – H FRANCIS & CO 3YO PACE – 1740 metres

HESOURCELEBRITY – Hung in under pressure entering the home straight. Driver N Day was fined $100 under Rule 170(1)(a) for dropping his foot from the sulky footrest in the early stages of the home straight.

OFFICIAL VIEW – Tired over the concluding stages. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormalities.

FAVOURED GRACE – Post-race swab sampled.

SNIPERS FIRE – Pre-race swab sampled.

RACE 6 – YIRRIBEE STUD PACE – 1740 metres

RACHELS LEGACY – Post-race swab sample.

NORMS LADY – Pre-race swab sampled.

HIGHLANDS WARRIOR – Over raced during the middle stages of the event.

SHEER VITALITY – Over raced during the middle stages of the event.

RACE 7 – SETTLERS VILLAGE PACE – 1740 metres

AMERICAN HAMMER NZ – Pre-race swab sampled. Driver S Hallcroft was queried regarding the seemingly improved performance of the gelding, he stated the stable were confident going into the race given it was down in grade today from its recent runs. He added they were able to maintain fairly moderate sectionals during the middle stages while leading the event.  Post-race swab sampled.

RACE 8 – RIVERINA ENSUITE HIRE PACE – 1740 metres

MESSERATI – Held up for clear running until near the 100 metres. A post-race veterinary examination of the gelding did not reveal any significant abnormalities.

MESSAGE BANK – Driver B Hewitt was queried regarding the below market expectation performance of the gelding. He stated he wasn’t too disappointed with the run given it is only a 3 year old racing against the older horses and they were left sitting outside the leader facing the breeze in a solidly run race.

DAY TWO – Post-race swab sample.

WESTERN SONADOR – Held up for clear running over the concluding stages of the event.

DIAMOND ECLIPSE – Pre-race swab sampled.
