Tasmyn's history-making moment
8 September 2026
PAUL COURTS
TALENTED concession driver Tasmyn Potter joined a pair of champions with her Australian record-equalling performance at Riverina Paceway last Friday.
The Victorian-based reinswoman, who undertakes the regular trip across the border, dominated the Wagga card by capturing six of the eight races.
As such, the 24-year-old became just the third reinswoman to register a sextet at a meeting.
The world' most successful reinswoman, Kerryn Manning, was the first to achieve the feat, winning six races at Moonee Valley on March 11, 2000.
Manning followed with sextets in Ararat and Nyah.
Inspirational South Australian horsewoman Dani Hill boasts a national record five sextets, with her first coming in Port Pirie on March 2, 2018.
Amanda Turnbull and Lauren Tritton held the previous New South Wales record with their quintets.
"It was an amazing day...I still can't believe it," Potter said. "I had a good book of drives and thought I could get a couple, but you never think about having a day like that.
"To have my name even mentioned alongside two champions in Kerryn and Dani is surreal and it's such an honour.
"I've had so many messages and calls to congratulate me and I'm so thankful for everyone who has taken time to do so."
Triumphant in the opening race with Floppa, Potter completed a running double thanks to Warieda Boy before Bay Of Fires equalled her previous best tally.
Notching her first quartet after Hezaflashone caused an upset at $14, Potter was then victorious with Day Two and Jaccka Evan to 'bookend' the program.
Potter's 'other' driver resulted in a third with $31 outsider Yella.
