RACE 1 – CATTLEWASH @ YIRRIBEE PACING STUD PACE –1740 metres
KRISTYGIRL – Driver Jamie Hogan was reprimand for allowing his foot to drop from the sulky foot rest approaching the 500m when activing removable gear.
SUMMER BAY BREW – Passing the finish line SUMMER BAY BREW trod on its near fore shoe which became entangled with the hopple loop which resulted in the mare blundering & falling to the track Driver Shane Hallcroft was not dislodged. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare to a have a laceration to the near fore carpus and will be stood down from racing pending a veterinary clearance. SUMMER BAY BREW will be required to trial to the satisfaction of stewards on one (1) occasion. SUMMER BAY BREW received precautionary treatment on course prior to being referred & transported to Wagga University equine centre for further assessment due to material in the carpus joint.
YANKEE BABE – Out of position when the start was effected despite the driver efforts. YANKEE BABE will now be placed on its last chance in the draw. Broke gait clear of interference passing the 1000m. YANKEE BABE will now be stood down from racing until trailing to the satisfaction of stewards on one (1) occasion.
AMERICAN SUGAR – Pre-race swab & Post-race swab.
KYLEIGH – Yielded ground from the 600m to finish in 9th & last position beaten 57.5m
RACE 2 – JACINTA BODEL HOMES PACE –1740 metres
GOODTIME JUNIOR – ($3.00) Trainer John Downey was queried into the seemingly improved performance of the gelding compared to recent starts. Mr Downey advised he was confident of a forward performance as the gelding was well credential prior to having significant period off and had continued to gain fitness this campaign as the gelding performed well at its most recent start at Young on 2nd July 2024 when finishing in 4th position as GOODTIME JUNIOR was dropping significantly in grade to recent starts & benefited to the extra concession with claiming driver engaged furthermore the gelding was unchallenged and able to obtain an easy first half which was recorded in 61.6 seconds. THE BANKER NZ – Driver Michael Towers was reminded of his obligations in regards to applying the whip in a continuous manner from the 400m onwards.
MOP NZ – Held up during the early & latter stages of the event.
IM BELIEBER – Driver Bayley Duck was reminded of his obligations in regards to applying the whip in a continuous manner from the 400m onwards.

RACE 3– CLEANAWAY PACE –1740 metres
IM ALRITE – Post-race swab.
HILLY – Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations due to the gelding having started in excess of 200 races. Neither examination revealed any significant abnormalities.
ACHERON – Trainer/driver Brett Hogan was queried into the overall performance of the gelding which finished in 8th position beaten 36.4m after racing outside the leader from the 1300m. Mr Hogan attributed the performance to the gelding hanging inwards around the turns and failing to race in a genuine manner thereafter.

RACE 4– BENSTUD PACE –1740 metres
SHEZ BETTORS BABE – Driver Brett Hogan was reminded of his obligations when applying the whip to the mare over the concluding stages.
FREASON – Post-race swab.
HONEST HARRIETTE – Pre-race swab.
MAYWYNS LA NINA – Driver Todd Day was reminded of his obligations when applying the whip to the mare over the concluding stages prior to dropping his whip passing the 100m.
RACE 5 – ATWORTHY PARK PACE – 1740 metre
KNOCK OUT– Post-race swab.
STARS ABROAD – Pre-race warm up.
TWO BLUES BLING – Pre-race swab.
RACE 6 – CONQUEST POOLS PACE – 2270 metre
General: The start of this event was aborted during the early stages of the score up when driver Kristie O’Sullivan (DONNIE MAC) indicated to the starter to a gear malfunction when the bit upon the gelding became twisted.
I LIKA STYLE – Driver Jon Ponsonby was issued a reprimand for tightening the racing room of TICK A LOCH passing the 400m.
CHEEZ – Declared a late scratching at 10:31am on veterinary advice.
I DIDNT KNOW THAT NZ– ($1.20 Fav) Trainer/driver Jackson Painting was queried into the overall performance of the gelding which finished in 6th positon beaten 7.3m after leading. Mr Painting advised I DIDNT KNOW THAT NZ failed to travel at any stage & felt lethargic throughout the event & provided to be disappointing. Mr Painting advised the gelding may have an underlying virus forming and it would be his intentions to monitor the gelding following the event and advised stewards of the condition of I DIDNT KNOW THAT NZ in the ensuring days. A post-race veterinary examination revealed to the gelding to have a slower than normal post-race recovery.

Trainer Jackson Painting advised following the event I DIDNT KNOW THAT NZ underwent Chiropractic remedial work which revealed the gelding to having muscular soreness in the hamstrings which the gelding has been restricted to light fitness and water walking exercise following the event with its workload to increase in the coming days which he would monitor the geldings progress and continue with its current preparation.

TICK A LOCH – Tightened for racing room passing the 400m when I LIKA STYLE shifted up the track. Held up during the early of the home straight prior to obtaining clear running.
RACE 7 – D & L EARTHMOVING PACE – 1740 metre
LOUBOWSKI NZ – ($4.80) Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations due to the mare having not started in the preceding 12 months. Neither examination revealed any significant abnormalities. Driver Harrison Ross was queried into the overall performance of the mare which finished in 7th position beaten 10.9m. Mr Ross advised he was satisfied with the performance as LOUBOWSKI NZ was able to improve into the event with a trail however the mare’s condition may have told over the final 200m after being first up since May 2023 and the quick final quarter of 26.7 seconds.
BUBBA SCRUB NZ – No claims lodged. Post-race swab.
OURMATEMENKO NZ – ($2.10 Fav) Pre-race swab. Driver Abby Sanderson was queried into the overall performance of the gelding which finished in 5th position 10m after racing outside the leader from the 1200m. Ms Sanderson advised the gelding to be slightly disappointing as the gelding had to endure more work than expect to obtain the position outside the leader. Ms Sanderson added OURMATEMENKO NZ was racing stronger opposition to recent starts & was not suited racing without cover as the gelding performances best when able to lead in its races.
SKITTLE BOMB NZ – Broke gait during the latter stages of the score up. SKITTLE BOMB NZ will now be excluded from the barrier draw in future mobile start events. In taking this action stewards were mindful of the gelding’s poor recent record in regards to its barrier manners and had only been placed back in the draw two (2) starts prior.
RACE 8 – HRNSW GUARANTEED LADYSHIP PACE – 1740 metre
OUR ROCKU – Pulled hard throughout the event despite the drivers efforts. Post-race swab.
GIRLS ARE BEST NZ – Pre-race swab.
RACE 9 – DOWNLOAD THE TAB APP TODAY PACE – 1740 metre
ROCKNROLL KISS – Began badly as the start was effected. A warning was issued against the barrier manners of ROCKNROLL KISS.
DRESSED IN GOLD NZ – Hung inwards under pressure approaching the 200m.
MONTGOMERY BURNS NZ – Post-race swab.
JILLIBY FABIO – Pre-race swab. Driver Peter McRae was reminded of his obligations when applying the whip to the gelding over the concluding stages.
KING TINTIN – Pre-race warm up.
