RACE 1 – BOWYER AND LIVERMORE PACE – 1730 metres
KENZIE SHANNON – Held up for clear running rounding the home turn, prior to obtaining a run in the sprint lane.
DIVINE GIRL – Pre-race swab sampled. Post-race swab sampled.
MAMMALS GIRL – Held up for clear running for the majority of the home straight.
JOETOMO – Broke gait during the score-up and was out of position at the start, given the gelding’s record connections were advised that it would be placed outside the draw for future mobile start races.
ROCKIN IN PARADISE – Declared a late scratching at 4.38pm due to late arrival on course. As per the guidelines in the HRNSW Horse Arrival Time policy, Trainer A Frisby was fined $200 under Rule 41(1) for not presenting the gelding on course by the required time.
FLIPTOP BOTTLESHOP – Commenced to lose ground from the main body of the field near the 600 metres and was beaten by a considerable margin. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be suffering atrial fibrillation. Connections were advised that it would be stood down from racing for 14 days, that they would be required to provide a Veterinary certificate of fitness, which would need to include the results of an ECG and it would be required to perform a re-qualifying trial prior to resuming racing.
RACE 2 – HORSE QUEENED SUDS IT PURPLE WARATAH HEAT – 1730 metres
ITS DOWN TO DIGGER – Tightened for room when racing to the inside of JEWEL HEAVEN entering the home straight, when that runner hung-in.
JEWEL HEAVEN – Hung-in under pressure upon entering the home straight, tightening ITS DOWN TO DIGGER. Post-race swab sampled.
LEXY LONGSTOCKINGS – Gave ground over the concluding stages of the event.
RIVIERE – Pre-race swab sampled.
RACE 3 – SUCCESS STUD TRUST THE PROFESSIONALS PACE – 2260 metres
BETTOR BRILLIANCE – Checked and broke gait near the 1800 metres when LUCKY PUNT broke gait.
BABLING BABLING – Held up for clear running rounding the home turn, prior to obtaining a run in the sprint lane.
SMOOTH CHAKRA – Checked near the 1800 metres when LUCKY PUNT broke gait. Held up for clear running for the majority of the home straight.
AUNTY JUNE – Galloped out as the start was effected for which a warning was issued.
LUCKY PUNT – Checked from the back of HERESHOPINGSHANNON near the 1800 metres when the pace eased and broke gait.
DUFFY HOLLOW NZ – Pre-race swab sampled.
GEM N EM NZ – Checked near the 1800 metres when LUCKY PUNT broke gait. Post-race swab sampled.
SUNSET JAY JAY – Checked near the 1800 metres when LUCKY PUNT broke gait. Driver E Turnbull was queried regarding the below market expectations performance of the mare, she stated that it didn’t run out the longer distance of tonight’s race as well as she thought it would. She added she did obtain a favourable run in the one-out one-back position but had to start to improve three wide earlier than she would have liked when GEM N EM NZ commenced to improve to her outside leaving the 800 metres, which told on the mare over the concluding stages.
RACE 4 – NUTRIEN BATHURST GRADUATE HEATS 19 AUGUST PACE – 1730 metres
PRINCE OF PEACE – Pre-race swab sampled.
PAS DE CHEVAL – Driver I Ross was queried regarding the below market expectations performance of the mare, she stated that she was disappointed with its run tonight and at a loss to explain it. She added that it travelled well until she pulled it out three wide near the 400 metres but it failed to run on.
THE SWIFT ONE – Post-race swab sampled.
DRIVE TO THE BEACH – Examined by the Club Veterinarian pre and post-race, as it has had over 200 race starts, and cleared of any significant abnormalities. Held up for clear running until near the 50 metres.
FIRESTORM RED – Examined by the Club Veterinarian pre and post-race, as it has had over 200 race starts, and cleared of any significant abnormalities.
RACE 5 – LLOWALONG FARMS WHERE CHAMPIONS ARE MADE PACE – 1730 metres
GRAYSON RED – Pre-race swab sampled.
MEMPHIS FURY – Post-race swab sampled.
BUDDY BRILLIANCE – Hung-out after the start and rounding the first turn. Driver T Bullock was queried regarding the below market expectations performance of the gelding, he stated that he eased from the start as instructed and settled midfield. He added that he felt the pace of the race was fairly strong so was reluctant to make a mid-race move, and felt near the 800 metres the pace eased somewhat so commenced a three wide move. He further added that it worked forward well from that point but could not continue improving from near the 400 metres and he was somewhat disappointed with the way it finished the race off. A post-race Veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities.
RACE 6 – BEDWELLS FEED BARN STOCKFEED BLENDS PACE – 1730 metres
LIVE VANCE – Broke gait free of interference near the 1400 metres, for which a warning was issued. Held up for clear running until near the 100 metres.
SERGEANT PEE JAY – Checked near the 1400 metres when LIVE VANCE broke gait.
IM HERE TO PARTY – Pre-race swab sampled. Inconvenienced near the 1400 metres when LIVE VANCE broke gait.
TENNESSEE KID – Post-race swab sampled.
THE DOME – Inconvenienced near the 1400 metres when LIVE VANCE broke gait.
EMILYS PRINCE – Checked near the 1400 metres when LIVE VANCE broke gait.
FESTINALENTE – Checked near the 1400 metres when LIVE VANCE broke gait.

RACE 7 – CATTLEWASH AT YIRRIBEE PACING STUD 2YO NSW BRED PACE – 1730 metres
OUR LOU – Driver A Rees dropped her whip approaching the 100 metres.
ROGUE BANDIT – Post-race swab sampled.
WHOLE LOTTA LITTLE – Hung-in during the score-up and was out of position at the start, as it was just the filly’s second race start, connections were advised it would be placed on its last chance in the draw. Hung-in rounding the home turn. A post-race Veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities.
ELECTRICUTE – Pre-race swab sampled. Raced roughly after the start, for which a warning was issued. Commenced to lose ground from the main body of the field leaving the 800 metres and was retired from the event. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be suffering atrial fibrillation. STARBASE – Inconvenienced after the start when ELECTRICUTE raced roughly. Inconvenienced leaving the 800 metres behind the tiring ELECTRICUTE.
SPARTAN CHIMES – Checked near the 600 metres from behind the tiring ELECTRICUTE. Held up for clear running for the majority of the home straight.
CAPTAIN VALIENTE – Held up for clear running until near the 100 metres.
LUCKY JESS – Inconvenienced leaving the 800 metres behind the tiring ELECTRICUTE.
SEVENTH AVENUE – Inconvenienced leaving the 800 metres behind the tiring ELECTRICUTE.
RACE 8 – BATHURST PARTY AND EVENTS HIRE PACE – 1730 metres
GLINDA SHANNON – Post-race swab sampled.
GRANT FOR LEXY – Pre-race swab sampled.
SAM THE MAN – Gave ground over the concluding stages of the event.
DREAM TO CURE – Placed back in the draw for future mobile start races.
RACE 9 – TOWN AND COUNTRY RURAL SUPPLIES 3YO PACE – 1730 metres
BETTER BE SWIFT – Checked entering the first turn by the galloping MONTRELL.
MONTRELL – Broke gait after the start for which a warning was issued.
WIT WICKEE – Pre-race swab sampled. Hung-in under pressure in the early part of the home straight.
STUDLEIGH FURY – Broke gait during the score-up and was out of position at the start, for which a warning was issued.
COWBOY CULTURE – Hung-in rounding the home turn. Post-race swab sampled.
RACE 10 – THE TAB APP 3YO PACE – 1730 metres
HASHTAG HECTOR – Tightened for room entering the first turn when racing to the inside of SOME JEWEL, which shifted-in, and was checked and broke gait.
SOME JEWEL – Driver V Duncan pleaded guilty to a charge under Rule 165(1)(b) in that entering the first turn he permitted his runner to shift in when not 1 metre clear of the extended front legs of HASHTAG HECTOR resulting in that runner being tightened for room and it being checked and breaking gait. In assessing penalty Stewards took into account V Duncan’s guilty plea, his offence record and the particular circumstances of the incident. V Duncan had his license to drive in races suspended for a period of 10 days, to commence at midnight the 10th of July, which will be at the end of his suspension he commences on the 26th of June that he incurred at Bathurst on the 17th of June.

HEARTOF KINGSCLAIR – Pre-race swab sampled.
JUST KEEP CHIMING – Driver J O’Shea was fined the sum of $400 under Rule 156(2)(a) for using his whip with an action that was more than a wrist only flicking motion in the home straight. In assessing penalty Stewards took into account that this was his second whip rule breach within 60 days of the first breach. Post-race swab sampled.
