RACE 1 – TAB VENUE MODE PACE – 1740 metres

HES A TERROR - A pre and post-race veterinary examination was conducted due to the horse having competed in excess of 200 race starts. Both examinations failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.

RACE 2 – YIRRIBEE STUD PACE – 1740 metres

CORZEN DRAMA – Post-race swab sample.

CLASSIC BEESMACK – Unable to gain clear running at any stage in the home straight and was not fully tested.

WARIEDA BOY - Unable to gain clear running at any stage in the home straight and was not fully tested.

MISS HERMES - Pre-race blood sample.

 

RACE 3 – NIXONS ENGINEERING PACE – 1740 metres

LITTLE MIRACLES – Pre-race blood sample.

SHADY TREE - Pre-race blood sample.

JIVEANDWHISPER – Out of position at the start for which a warning was issued.

WICKED MOTION – Out of position at the start for which a warning was issued. Approaching the 250 metres broke under pressure and will now be required to perform one requalifying trial. Trainer Brad Hewitt advised the colt will now be sent for a spell and as such will be stood down for 28 days. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.

ESTELLA HERGE – Post-race swab sample.

TIGER IN HEAVEN – At the request of connections was re-included in the mobile draw.

 

 

RACE 4 – PREMIUM PUNTER PACE – 1740 metres

CAPTAIN JAZZ – Hung in under pressure and was issued its last chance to race truly.   Post-race swab sample.

NASANA NZ - Pre-race blood sample. Approaching the 200 metres jumped a shadow and broke gait for which a warning was issued. Stewards delayed all clear to determine if Driver Jackson Painting had met his obligations under the rules. After reviewing the films Stewards were satisfied he had met his obligations and all clear was given on the judge’s numbers of 3 – 4 – 5 – 10.

 

RACE 5 – RANVET 3YO PACE – 1740 metres

LAMNA NASUS – Approaching the first turn was tightened and contacted marker pegs before racing roughly as a result of ROCK TOGETHER shifting down the track.

ROCK TOGETHER – Driver Deehan Crook pleaded guilty to a charge under Rule 163(1)(a)(iii) for causing interference, in that approaching the first turn he has permitted his runner to shift down the track when not fully clear of LAMNA NASUS causing that runner to be placed into restricted room. Driver Deehan Crook had his licence to drive in races suspended for a period of 7 days to commence midnight 26 June 2026. In assessing penalty, Stewards considered his guilty plea, record in relation to the rule and circumstances of the incident.

PAPIER MACHE - Pre-race blood sample. Driver Michael Towers was questioned regarding the overall performance of the gelding where after leading PAPIER MACHE was unable to run on over the concluding stages to be beaten 26.2 metres. Mr Towers explained it was a significant rise in grade on its previous start.

RACE 6 – RIVERINA HOTEL PACE – 2270 metres

JILLIBY RYDER - Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.

 

RACE 7 – RIVERINA SIGNMAKERS WARATAH HEAT – 1740 metres

RUDIMENTARY – Driver Brad Hewitt was questioned regarding the below expectation performance of the gelding after starting $1.70 favourite and being able to lead, failed to run on to finish in 9^th position beaten 18.5 metres. Mr Hewitt explained after leading the gelding sustained more pressure than anticipated as a result of BIZZIE LIZZIE over racing outside the leader and DONNIE MAC challenging three wide from the 1000 metres. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have a slow recovery.

BIZZIE LIZZIE – Over raced outside the leader throughout before giving ground to be beaten 24.5 metres.

DONNIE MAC - Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.

SINBAD SASSY – Hung in under pressure.

SNAKE OIL – Held up early before gaining clear running approaching the 100 metres.

GO COLOUR MY WORLD NZ - Held up early before gaining clear running approaching the 100 metres.

 

RACE 8 – STROUD HOMES PACE – 1740 metres

KUALIGHT – Broke after the start for which a warning was issued.

PALLADIUM NZ - Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.

MIKIBEQUICK – Checked after the start as a result of KUALIGHT breaking gate.

 

RACE 9 – HERTZ CAR RENTAL PACE – 1740 metres

ISLAND YANKEE – Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was passed fit to start.

TIZZY LIZZIE – Hung in under pressure rounding the final turn.

IDEAL IN DREAMS - Pre-race blood sample.

IM ALRITE - A pre and post-race veterinary examination was conducted due to the horse having competed in excess of 200 race starts. Both examinations failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.

LITTLE SASSY BOY – Held up entering the home straight before gaining clear running approaching the 70 metres.
