RACE 1 – GARRARDS HORSE AND HOUND PACE – 1609 metres

WAMBOYNEINAMERICA – Leaving the 400 metres shifted out at the same time CRAFTMANS CHARLIE laid in and bumped with that runner.

CRAFTMANS CHARLIE – Laid in under pressure and leaving the 400 metres was bumped by WAMBOYNEINAMERICA which shifted out slightly.  A post-race veterinary examination revealed a small laceration to the near hind leg of CRAFTMANS CHARLIE requiring minor veterinary treatment.  No stand down was required.

PERFECT STRIDE NZ – Pre-race blood samples were obtained.  Post-race swab samples were obtained.

DESSIE GEE – Pre-race blood samples were obtained.

BETTER ECLIPSE – Unable to secure clear running at any stage of the home straight and was not fully tested.

 

RACE 2 – BESTINBEDS.COM.AU PACE – 1609 metres

BETTORLIGHTEM UP – Pre-race blood samples were obtained. 

NOVANTA RISING – Caught wide in the early stages before working forward to the position outside of the leader near the 1000 metres.

IM BLINGIN IT – Pre-race blood samples were obtained. 

SNAP SHOT NZ – Raced in limited room in the home straight and leaving the 100 metres was momentarily held up for clear running.

CARRAMAR OLAM – Post-race swab samples were obtained.

 

RACE 3 – ULTRA AIR PACE (HEAT 2) – 1609 metres

PARTY CENTRAL NZ – Broke gait during the middle stages of the score up and shifted in resulting in BARTELLO, I BET YOU and BALTUSROL all being checked subsequently a false start was declared.  A warning was placed on PARTY CENTRAL NZ.  Driver J Coney pleaded guilty to a charge under rule 162(1)(d) for delaying the start in that he directed his runner down the track when it was open to him to restrain the gelding back and shift out to avoid interference to other runners to avoid the need of a false start. In assessing penalty consideration was given to his guilty plea and overall driving record. J Coney was fined the sum of $200. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities.

LETS TURN IT ON – Pre-race blood samples were obtained.  Post-race swab samples were obtained.

QUIET STORM – Pre-race blood samples were obtained.

JAXON BEACH – Raced three wide in the early stages before working forward.

OAKIE SMOKESHOW – Unable to secure clear running at any stage of the home straight and was not fully tested.

 

RACE 4 – PRYDE’S EASIFEED PACE (HEAT 3) – 1609 metres

THE METAL FLYER – Post-race swab samples were obtained.

IM ROCKIN IT – Hung out when placed under pressure over the final 200 metres.

LOVE A BELLE – Pre-race blood samples were obtained. 

CAPTAIN RITCHIE – Pre-race blood samples were obtained. 

 

RACE 5 – CLUB MENANGLE VIC FROST FFA (LISTED CLASSIC) – 1609 metres

GLITTER AINT GOLD – Post-race swab samples were obtained.

SMOKEN ACE NZ – Pre-race blood samples were obtained. 

RIPP – Pre-race blood samples were obtained. 

HUTA NZ – Failed to run on over the concluding stages.  When question J Coney explained that he was slightly disappointed with the gelding’s performance. He said that the gelding was inclined to over race and commenced to strike his own sulky wheels which was detrimental.  Due to the intractability of his runner, the first half of the race was faster than he wanted to record given he was racing in the position outside of the leader.  A post-race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities.  J Coney’s explanation was noted.

 

RACE 6 – IRT PACE (HEAT 4) – 1609 metres

JILLIBY FABIO – Leaving the 400 metres was inclined to hang in and race roughly.

PERUN NZ – Pre-race blood samples were obtained.

OUR ROCKER – Post-race swab samples were obtained.

TITIAN RAIDER – Pre-race blood samples were obtained.  Raced three wide in the early stages before working forward to the position outside of the leader near the 1000 metres.

 

RACE 7 – THE CORDINA GROUP PACE (HEAT 5) – 1609 metres

MICK DANGER – Pre-race blood samples were obtained.  Unable to secure clear running until passing the 50 metres. 

HAPPY TOO YA – Pre-race blood samples were obtained. 

CHANGE TACT NZ – Post-race swab samples were obtained.

OUTSIDE FIGHTER – Underwent a pre and post-race veterinary examination as per HRNSW Animal Welfare guidelines.  No abnormalities were detected on either examination.

 

RACE 8 – YIRRIBEE STUD 3YO PACE – 1609 metres

EYE CAN EAR AMOUR – Unable to secure clear running at any stage of the home straight and was not fully tested.

LOCHINVAR MARCELLO – Pre-race blood samples were obtained.  Unable to secure clear running until approaching the 100 metres.

GRUMPYSHANNON – Pre-race blood samples were obtained.

BLAZING HIGH – Caught wide in the early stages before working forward to the position outside of the leader near the 1100 metres.

 

RACE 9 – PRON8URE PROBIOTICS TROTTERS STANDING START HANDICAP – 2300 metres

SUNNY GEE – Underwent a pre and post-race veterinary examination as per HRNSW Animal Welfare guidelines.  No abnormalities were detected on either examination.  Post-race swab samples were obtained.

ALMIGHTY FEAR NZ – Pre-race blood samples were obtained.  Passing the 1700 metres became unbalanced and broke gait.  A warning was issued.  Approaching the 400 metres was inclined to trot roughly.

COURAGE STRIDE – Pre-race blood samples were obtained.
