RACE 1 – WESTERN PLAINS GRANITE 3YO PACE – 1720 metres
CALM LEGEND – Pre-race blood sample was obtained.
WINDY HILL ABBEY – Was inconvenienced shortly after the start when MOREFUNTOCOME shifted in. Hung out and raced roughly approaching and negotiating the first turn. A warning was issued against the filly's racing manners.
MOREFUNTOCOME – Shifted in shortly after the start, checking WINDY HILL ABBEY.
MRS MAHONEY – Prior to the running of Race 1, the filly entered the parade ring displaying the incorrect saddlecloth number. Trainer Mr Steve Turnbull was fined $100 pursuant to Rule 273(5)(a). Raced roughly shortly after the start. In view of the filly's recent record, MRS MAHONEY was placed on its last chance in the draw.
CLASSYNFABULOUS – Was held up for clear running rounding the final turn and remained unable to secure clear running for the entirety of the home straight.
REDEMPTION MISS – Raced three wide during the early and middle stages before being unable to obtain a forward position and subsequently raced three wide without cover for the remainder of the event. Stewards questioned Driver Mr Jason Hewitt regarding the performance and tactics adopted. Mr Hewitt explained that he had intended to work forward and obtain a position outside the leader, however, the filly lacked the necessary speed to do so, resulting in it being caught racing three wide. Stewards noted his comments.
DETANGLED – Post-race swab sample was obtained.
RACE 2 – RADIO 2DU PACE – 1720 metres
BROOKLYN BANDIT – Pre-race blood sample was obtained.
ROOBEE – Approaching the 100 metres was tightened for room when CHILLAX shifted in.
STUDLEIGH STARLITE – Post-race swab sample obtained.
GABBYS SPORTSTAR – Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination due to the gelding's age and having in excess of 200 lifetime starts and was cleared to race. Held up for clear running rounding the final turn and for most of the home straight.
CHILLAX – Driver Ms Kellie Dean was reprimanded under Rule 163(1)(a)(iii) for causing interference in that, approaching the 100 metres, she allowed CHILLAX to shift in when insufficiently clear of ROOBEE, which was tightened and placed in restricted room.
FESTINALENTE – Held up for clear running rounding the final turn and in the early stages of the home straight.
RACE 3 – FARDELLS HEAVY HAULAGE & CRANE HIRE PACE – 1720 metres
THEYCALLMEBRUCE – Pre-race blood sample. Hung in noticeably approaching the final turn. Post-race swab sample.
RIP ROCK – Held up for clear running rounding the final turn and in the early stages of the home straight.
CLASSIC BEESMACK – Held up for clear running rounding the final turn and in the early stages of the home straight. Driver Jason Hewitt was reprimanded under Rule 163(1)(a)(iii) causing interference after electing to shift CLASSIC BEESMACK wider on the track in an attempt to secure clear running when not sufficiently clear of SINISTER, which was tightened as a consequence.
PECUNIOUS NZ – Broke gait approaching the 300 metres. Having regard to the mare’s recent record, PECUNIOUS NZ was stood down from racing for a period of 14 days and will be required to complete two satisfactory trials prior to resuming.
SINISTER – Tightened approaching the 100 metres when CLASSIC BEESMACK shifted wider on the track.
TIGERNATOR – Held up for clear running rounding the final turn and in the early stages of the home straight.
RACE 4 – CRAMPTONS CARPETS LADYSHIP PACE – 2120 metres
GIFTED BRIGADE NZ – Pre-race blood sample.
SWEET SWEET TOOTH – Post-race swab sample.
RACE 5 – PICTON BROS PANELSPAN WARATAH HEAT – 1720 metres
RONZEL SONNY – Post-race swab sample.
GO COLOUR MY WORLD NZ – The trainer was granted permission for a late driver change replacing Jason Turnbull with Blake Medlyn. Upon entering the home straight on the final occasion was racing in close proximity of FIRESTROM RED the pair locked wheels for a short distance.
BEANCOUNTER – Pre-race blood sample.
FIRESTORM RED– Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations due to the gelding having started in more than 200 races. These examinations did not reveal any significant findings. Upon entering the home straight on the final occasion was racing in close proximity of GO COLOUR MY WORLD NZ pair locked wheels for a short distance.
MILLWOOD GRACE NZ – Upon entering the home straight the mare was checked as result of the two runners in front of the mare GO COLOUR MY WORLD NZ and FIRESTORM RED locking wheels.
RACE 6 – CLUB DUBBO PACE – 1720 metres
PEAKSART – Raced three wide during the early stages. Commenced to weaken over the concluding stages to finish beaten 20 metres.
BETTOR BRILLIANCE – Post-race swab sample.
MOHAWK PARK – Held up for clear running rounding the home turn and for the majority of the home straight, resulting in the gelding not being fully tested.
ULTIMATE COOKIE – Was selected for a pre-race blood sample. However, due to the horse being fractious and time restraints, a sample was unable to be obtained.
RACE 7 – DHRC MEMBERSHIP DUE NOW PACE – 1720 metres
MY ULTIMATE BRUNO – Post-race swab sample.
SINFUL KISS – Held up for clear running rounding the final turn and throughout the home straight.
CARLISLE WAY – Pre-race blood sample.
JACKS GAMBLE – Out of position at the start. In view of the gelding's recent record, a warning was issued. Hung in during the early stages of the race.
RACE 8 – DOWNLOAD THE TAB APP TODAY PACE – 1720 metres
CLEARY – Held up for clear running rounding the home turn. Driver Kellie Dean was reprimanded under Rule 163(1)(a)(iii) in that whilst attempting to obtain clear running, she shifted CLEARY wider on the track when not fully clear of MY CONFIDANT, resulting in that runner being forced wider onto OCEAN KING, which in turn was forced out onto TAKE ME TOO. As a consequence, TAKE ME TOO was checked and raced roughly. Post-race swab sample.
SOME JEWEL – Pre-race blood sample.
MY CONFIDANT – Inconvenienced rounding the home turn when forced wider on the track by CLEARY.
LACEY CAKES – Raced roughly entering the back straight on the first occasion.
OCEAN KING – Approaching the 1300 metres, OCEAN KING was racing to the inside of GRANT FOR LEXY and behind MY CONFIDANT. At that stage, MY CONFIDANT shifted from a marker peg position into the running line and OCEAN KING followed that runner up the track, resulting in GRANT FOR LEXY being forced to race wider. Stewards opened an inquiry into the driving of Neville Donnelly, which was adjourned and will be concluded at Bathurst on 17 July 2026. Inconvenienced rounding the home turn as a result of the movement of CLEARY and the resulting interference to runners to its inside.
SAM THE MAN – Broke gait entering the back straight on the first occasion. In view of the gelding's recent record, a warning was issued. Gave ground over the concluding stages.
GRANT FOR LEXY – Broke gait entering the back straight on the first occasion. A last chance to race truly was placed on the gelding's record. Approaching the 1300 metres was forced to race wider on the track as a result of OCEAN KING shifting out.
TAKE ME TOO – Checked and broke gait rounding the home turn as a result of the movement of CLEARY, which forced MY CONFIDANT wider onto OCEAN KING, which in turn was shifted out onto TAKE ME TOO.
RACE 9 – LEGENDS BAR PACE – 1720 metres
BURRABADINE STORM – Pre-race blood sample.
VINNYSGAL – Shifted in under pressure over the concluding stages.
OUR GIRL ECHO- Shift out under pressure over the concluding stages. Post race swab obtained.
