MACHX THE STRANGER – Broke in the score up and was out of position at the start for which a warning was issued.
TROUBLE IN HEAVEN – Pre-race blood sample.
PIRANI PRINCESS – Held up for clear running and was not fully tested.
SWEDISH MEATBALLS – Held up entering the home straight before gaining clear running in the sprint lane.
RACE 2 – NIJINSKY STANDING AT YIRRIBEE STUD PACE – 2270 metres
BELIEVE IN DREAMS – Post-race swab sample. Ms Natasha Harpley was fined $250 under Rule 204 in that she presented BELIEVE IN DREAMS to the swab box for a post-race swab sample following the event when not being the holder of a stable hand, trainer or driver’s licence and performed the duties of a stable hand whilst unlicensed.
ISLAND MANDALAY – Inconvenienced approaching the first turn as a result of JAY CEE MAXWELL breaking gait.
MAJOR HAYLEY – Trainer Russell Jack was fined $50 under Rule 210 for the late declaration of Jackson Painting as the driver. Pre-race blood sample.
JAY CEE MAXWELL - Broke after the start for which a warning was issued.
RACE 3 – RIVERINA SIGNMAKERS 3YO PACE – 1740 metres
CAPTURE OUR HEART NZ - Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.
AFTERSHOCK - Pre-race blood sample.
FIVE OCLOCK WAVE – Examined pre-race by the veterinarian with no abnormalities detected. Broke during the score up and was out of position at the start and will now be excluded from the mobile barrier draw.
ROCK SPIRIT – Driver Ky Bloomfield dropped his left foot momentarily rounding the home turn when activating gear.
RACE 4 – STROUD HOMES PACE – 1740 metres
SOPHIES SCOOTER – Held up rounding the home turn behind the tiring VALENTINI before gaining clear running in the home straight.
VALENTINI Driver Blake Micallef was questioned regarding the performance of the mare after leading gave ground over the concluding stages to be beaten 25.6 metres. Mr Micallef stated the mare travelled well in front until asked for an effort at which stage VALENTINI was disappointing.

RACE 5 – SOUTHWEST STOCKFEEDS PACE – 1740 metres
CENTREFIRE - Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.
DIDNT I - A pre and post-race veterinary examination was conducted due to the horse having competed in excess of 200 race starts. Both examinations failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.
KEAYANG ALEX - Examined pre-race by the veterinarian with no abnormalities detected.
RACE 6 – SMALLMON BROTHERS WASTE & RECYCLING PACE – 1740 metres
EMIKO – Entering the first turn was placed into restricted room when MISTER RAUDONIKIS shifted down the track and hung in and contacted marker pegs.
MISTER RAUDONIKIS – Shifted down the track entering the first turn placing EMIKO into restricted room. Driver Matthew Murphy was spoken to in regard to his whip use over the concluding stages.

EYES OFF TIGER - Pre-race blood sample.
RACE 7 – ALABAR STUD PACE – 1740 metres
CLAUDES DESIRE – Post-race swab sample.
SNAPPY DUCHESS – Checked and broke approaching the first turn as a result of ROCK WHAT YOU ARE be restrained.
CUSTOMBUILT - Pre-race blood sample. Driver Blake Jones was questioned regarding his driving tactics particularly his decision to commence a three wide run from the 1000 metres before restraining at the 850 metres. Mr Jones explained he felt the tempo in the event had eased and BELLE ALCHERA which was racing outside the leader was looking for cover, however when commencing to improve BELLE ALCHERA began to over race, the speed increased and his runner dropped the bit and as a result he elected to restrain the colt.
UNDENIABLY NEEDY – Held up entering the home straight before gaining clear racing room approaching the 100 metres.
RACE 8 – YABBY DAM FARMS PACE – 1740 metres
TIGER CHEDDAR - Pre-race blood sample.
CHOCOLATE DELIGHT – Post-race swab sample.
MELATI BOY – Held up in the latter stages of the home straight.
ALL SO SASSY – Held up in the latter stages of the home straight.
CANT HEAR YOU - Pre-race blood sample.
RACE 9 – NUTRIEN EQUINE STANDARBRED PACE – 1740 metres
TOMMY TERROR – Gave ground over the concluding stages to be beaten 43.5 metres.
RUSTY MUDSHARK - Pre-race blood sample.
ANGELIC ATTITUDE – Post-race swab sample.
MARINNA MONSOON – Checked approaching the 250 metres when being held up behind TOMMY TERROR which was giving ground before gaining clear running in the sprint lane.
BOY STUNNER – Checked and raced roughly approaching the 200 metres as a result of SHADY TREE shifting up the track.
SHADY TREE – Hung in under pressure before being corrected approaching the 200 metres at which point the gelding shifted out and as a result BOY STUNNER was shifted wider and raced roughly. Connections were advised a warning was issued on the racing manners of the gelding.
RACE 10 – STEEL SUPPLIES PACE – 1740 metres
IM HARVEY SPECTER NZ - Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.
LITTLE COOL – Passing the 1300 metres contacted marker pegs.
