WAMBOYNEINAMERICA – Caught racing wide in the early stages of the event before working forward to the lead passing the 1100 metres. Driver Rickie Alchin pleaded guilty to a charge under Rule 156(2)(a), in that applied the whip to the gelding in the early and middle stages of the home straight in a manner in which was not considered to be a wrist only flicking motion. After considering the recent record of Mr Alchin, he was fined $400.

RACE 4 – TAB PACE – 2300 metres

MISTER MANAGER – Pre-race blood sample. raced roughly after the start. Held up in the early stages of the home straight before finding clear running passing the 200 metres.

MAGIC JOE – Pre-race blood sample. Worked forward to the lead passing the 1550 metres.

LOU WILL NZ – Worked forward to the lead passing the 1900 metres.

BAXTER RED – A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have reopened a laceration on its near side fore foot.

DRIVE TO THE BEACH – Examined prior to and following the running of the race as the gelding has competed in excess of 200 race starts. The examinations failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.

WICKED WIZARD – Post-race swab sample.

RACE 5 – CLUB MENANGLE WARATAH FINAL – 1609 metres

RONZEL SONNY – A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.

LIMOUSINE CHEEKY – Pre-race blood sample.

JEWEL HEAVEN – Post-race swab sample.

CHANCEUX – Pre-race blood sample. Held up in the home straight and not fully tested.

YESNOMAYBESO - Examined prior to and following the running of the race as the gelding has competed in excess of 200 race starts. The examinations failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities. Over raced during the middle stages of the event.

RACE 6 – BESTINBEDS.COM.AU KEVIN NEWMAN FFA (LISTED CLASSIC) – 1609 metres

RAVISHING SLOY – Trainer Kevin Pizzuto was fined $100 under Rule 210 for the late notification of Michael Stanley as the driver of the gelding.

RACE 7 – PRYDE’S EASIFEED TROTTERS MOBILE – 2300 metres

CORMORAN STRIKE NZ – Worked forward to the lead approaching the 1900 metres. Post-race swab sample.

ALMIGHTY FEAR NZ – Held up in the home straight and not fully tested.

SUNNY GEE - Examined prior to and following the running of the race as the gelding has competed in excess of 200 race starts. The examinations failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.

SOUTHERN DIAMOND NZ – Pre-race blood sample.

YOUR MAJESTY – Pre-race blood sample. worked forward to the lead passing the 1700 metres.

COURAGE STRIDE – Trainer Blake Fitzpatrick was fined $100 under Rule 210 for the late notification of himself as the driver of the gelding. Driver Blake Fitzpatrick was reprimanded under Rule 163(1)(b) for forcing another runner wider, in that approaching the 1200 metres he permitted his runner to shift wider on the track following SOUTHERN DIAMOND NZ and YOUR MAJESTY when not sufficiently clear of GHANDI MAIL ITA which had improved to his outside.

GHANDI MAIL ITA – Forced wider approaching the 1200 metres and continued to improve three wide until obtaining the position outside the leader passing the 800 metres.

RACE 8 – NUTRIEN EQUINE 3YO PACE – 1609 metres

CONCILIATE – Pre-race blood sample. Held up in the home straight and not fully tested.

NYMBAL NZ – Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.

COWBOY CULTURE – Held up in the home straight and not fully tested.

RACE 9 – LIVAMOL WITH BIOWORMA PACE – 1609 metres

MONTEFIORE NZ – Pre-race blood sample. Broke gear. Broke after the start. No further action was taken.
