RACE 1 – SKY RACING ACTIVE 2YO MAIDEN PACE – 1609 metres
The start of this race was delayed owing to Nowra Gallops running behind schedule.
KVITKA STRIDE – Trainer R Alchin was fined $50 under Rule 210 for the late driving notification of himself as the driver of the filly. Pre-race sample. Post-race sample.
BOUQUET STRIDE – Trainer R Alchin was fined $50 under Rule 210 for the late driving notification of D Murphy as the driver of the filly.
PIPPA SHANNON – Galloped free of interference at the 1200m. Considering the recent racing record of PIPPA SHANNON connections were advised that the filly must complete two satisfactory trials and be stood down for a period of 14 days prior to racing again.
RACE 2 – TOOHEYS 3YO MAIDEN PACE – 2030 metres
MY MCLAREN – Post-race sample.
MANHATTEN MASTER – Examined pre and post-race due to not having started in a race since August 2025. Neither examination revealed any abnormal findings.
CAPTAIN MIKI – Pre-race sample.
EXECUTIVEDECISIONS – Over-raced during the early and middle stages.
RACE 3 – PFD FOOD SERVICE 2YO MAIDEN PACE – 1609 metres
PRETTY PRIVILEGE – Trainer R Alchin was fined $50 under Rule 210 for the late driving notification of himself as the driver of the colt. Driver R Alchin pleaded guilty to a charge under Rule 168(1)(a) for careless driving. The particulars of the charge being that leaving the 400m Mr Alchin allowed his drive to contact the outside sulky wheel of BANDLEADER. This resulted in PRETTY PRIVILEGE galloping, checking BUCKAROO SHANNON, which paced roughly. IFSBUTSANDBILYCAN was also inconvenienced. The licence of Mr Alchin to drive in races was suspended for a period of 7 days with the suspension ordered to commence midnight 19 August 2026.
BIUCKAROO SHANNON – Checked and paced roughly leaving the 400m when PRETTY PRIVILEGE galloped.
BANDLEADER – Outside sulky wheel contacted at 400m when racing in advance of PRETTY PRIVILEGE.
IFSBUTSANDBILYCANS – Inconvenienced at the 400m when PRETTY PRIVILEGE galloped.
DELANEY NZ – Pre-race sample. Post-race sample.
RACE 4 – SLICK CHICKS PACE – 1609 metres
DREAM TO DANCE – Pre-race sample.
HEY DUDE – Inconvenienced and taken back through the field when trailing BO DUKE NZ after that runner failed to muster speed between the 400m and 200m.
GET US A TINNY – Post-race sample.
RACE 5 – JOHN HUNTER CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL KIDS CLUB PACE – 1609 metres
CEEJAY HAICH – Post-race sample.
SUNLIGHT STRIDE – Trainer R Alchin was fined $50 under Rule 210 for the late driving notification as himself as the driver of the filly.
FRANCO STYLES – Pre-race sample.
RACE 6 – GARRARDS HORSE AND HOUND PACE – 1609 metres
PEPPERCORN BARRY – Tired to be beaten 66m and was stood down until the completion of one satisfactory trial. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.
KIARAS EPONA – Gave ground to be beaten 39m.
HEEZ REASONABLE – Pre-race sample.
ADDED VALUE – Gave ground to be beaten 40m.
CAPTAIN DORIAN – Post-race sample. Driver D Murphy was reprimanded under Rule 170(1)(a) for allowing his right foot to drop from the sulky footrest over the concluding stages. Mr Murphy was advised to make the corrective adjustments to his sulky to prevent a re-occurrence.
RACE 7 – HUNTER SIGNS PACE – 1609 metres
BREXITT – Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations due to the gelding attaining 12 years of age. Neither examination revealed any abnormalities. Over-raced during the early and middle stages.
LETSGETROWDY – Post-race sample.
GUNFIGHTERSGHOST – Locked stays briefly at the 200m with RAINBOW TITAN when that runner was giving ground.
WALLAROY BOY – Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations due to the gelding starting in excess of 200 race starts. Neither examination revealed any abnormalities.
RAINBOW TITAN – Locked stays briefly with GUNFIGHTERSGHOST at the 200m when giving ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be displaying signs evident of muscle soreness. Acting upon veterinary advise the gelding was stood down for a period of seven days.
REIGN MAKER – Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations due to the gelding starting in excess of 200 race starts. Neither examination revealed any abnormalities. Driver K Langelaar was fined $50 under Rule 162(1)(h) for failing to maintain her barrier position prior to release.
ELITE GEORGE – Over-raced during the middle stages.
BODYLINE – Pre-race sample.
RACE 8 – THE TAB APP PACE – 1609 metres
SIR KNIGHT – Pre-race sample.
LOUIGI – It was reported sustained a right flat tyre throughout the event.
MAYWYNS MIGHTY MAC – Post-race sample.
HYKEEPMEPOSTED – Hung out leaving the 1200m and then hung in approaching the 700m. Held up and unable to obtain clear racing room in the run to the finish.
