RACE 1 – GILSON YONSON REAL ESTATE PACE – 1770 metres

CRESCO THREEPEAT – Post-race swab sample.

ZEUSS –Trainer Ellen Jones was questioned regarding the overall performance of the horse, after finding a favourable trailing position ZEUSS failed to run on over the concluding stages to finish in 6th placing beaten 27.9 metres. Ms Jones explained the horse was first up for the stable and believed the horse is one paced and was unable to get into the race but believed it would be better for the run.

UNCLE CRAIGO – Held up entering the home straight before gaining clear running inside the final 100 metres.

 

RACE 2 – TAB VENUE MODE PACE – 1770 metres

ANGELIC ATTITUDE – Post-race swab sample.

RACE 3 – BAXTERS CONCRETE PACE – 1770 metres

DIDNT I - Underwent a pre and post-race veterinary examination due to the mare having in excess of 200 race starts. Both examinations failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities. Post-race swab sample.

VALENTINI - Pre-race blood sample.

THE DEMOCRAT - Underwent a pre and post-race veterinary examination due to the gelding being 12 years of age and having in excess of 200 race starts. Both examinations failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.

 

RACE 4 – APCO NORTH ALBURY PACE – 1770 metres

ALWAYSATTHEBEACH – Held up early before gaining clear running to the inside of KRISTYSGIRL inside the final 100 metres.

IN THE SUMMERTIME NZ – Trainer/Driver Jackson Painting was questioned regarding the tactics adopted from the 500 metres when racing to the rear of the field in a trailing position he elected to switch to the marker line before being held up over the concluding stages. Mr Painting explained approaching the 700 metres his runner commenced to hang in and hit its knee and approaching the 500 metres two runners progressed three wide in advance of his runner and he wasn’t confident IN THE SUMMERTIME NZ would be able to improve four wide and elected to drive inside runners over the concluding stages. Stewards noted the comments of Mr Painting. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities.

RACE 5 – APCO WEST WODONGA PACE – 1770 metres

DONTTOUCHTHETIN – Gave ground over the concluding stages to be beaten 40 metres.

WONGALEA YANK – Approaching the first turn when racing three wide raced roughly. Broke approaching the 250 metres and was placed on its last chance to race truly.

WHERE IT BEGAN - Pre-race blood sample. Driver David Jack was issued a reprimand under Rule 163(1)(a)(iii) for causing interference, in that approaching the first turn he permitted his runner to shift down the track placing FLY OVER STATES and RUSTY MUDSHARK into restricted room. Post-race swab sample.

 

RACE 6 – AHRC THANK YOU VOLUNTEERS 3YO PACE – 1770 metres

ROCK SPIRIT – Post-race swab sample.

BETTOR INTHE DARK – Trainer/Driver Jackson Painting was questioned regarding the overall performance of the filly whereafter being caught wide early he elected to improve three wide before being unsuccessful in gaining the position outside the leader and shortly after approaching the 700 metres the filly commenced to give ground to finish in last position beaten 72.2 metres. Mr Painting explained he felt the filly was hanging in during the early stages and felt the position outside the leader would be available however BETTOR INTHE DARK was unable to generate enough speed to find that position. Given the overall racing manners and performance of BETTOR INTHE DARK, the filly will be required to perform one satisfactory trial.  A post-race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities.

ALWAYSBDREAMING - Pre-race blood sample.

OUR ULTIMATE ELLA – Driver Eli Lepper was issued a reprimand under Rule 163(1)(a)(iii) for causing interference, in that approaching the 400 metres he has shifted wider on the track placing CRESCO THUNDASTRUCK into restricted racing room.

 

RACE 7 – BORAL QUARRIES CULCAIRN PACE – 1770 metres

LETSTACOBOUTIT – Post-race swab sample.

OLLY ODD POTTS - Pre-race blood sample. Driver John Scott was issued a reprimand under Rule 170(1)(b) in that approaching the 500 metres when attempting to activate gear, Mr Scott has allowed his left foot to drop from the sulky footrest. Passing the 300 metres locked wheels momentarily with GLAMOUR FOX as a result of that runner hanging in.

GLAMORS SYMBOL - Underwent a pre and post-race veterinary examination due to the mare being 12 years of age and having in excess of 200 race starts. Both examinations failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.

GLAMOUR FOX – Approaching the 300 metres hung in and locked wheels with OLLY ODD POTTS momentarily.

 

RACE 8 – CARTWRIGHT CIVIL PACE – 1770 metres

ELLAVA PACER - Pre-race blood sample. Driver Codi Rauchenberger was questioned regarding the overall performance of the mare which started $1.35 favourite to finish in 5th placing beaten 29.5 metres. Ms Rauchenberger explained the mare raced well until being presented into clear running at which stage ELLAVA PACER failed to respond.

ROLL THE ACES – Post-race swab sample.

DEAD EYE TIKI - Pre-race blood sample. Tired over the concluding stages to be beaten 103.6 metres. In view of the performance of DEAD EYE TIKI, it will be required to perform one requalifying trial. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.

BETTERTHANTHEBOYZ - Underwent a pre and post-race veterinary examination due to the mare having in excess of 200 race starts. Both examinations failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.

OKTOLOVE - Underwent a pre and post-race veterinary examination due to the gelding being 12 years of age and having in excess of 200 race starts. Both examinations failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.
