Mr Bigeni added that after beginning with the field he elected to restrain his drive after being caught three wide, however explained that at the time he was unable to do so due to his drive over-racing and resisting his attempts. Mr Bigeni advised that he elected not to improve forward due to GREY CADILLAC improving ahead of him and occupying the position outside of the leader and that position most likely not being available. Mr Bigeni stated that once again he attempted to restrain RIO DE JANEIRO BLUE NZ leaving the 1400m and was unable to do so again, therefore resulting in him having to maintain a three-wide position for the entire.
