RACE 1 – WORKLOCKER PARKES 3YO FILLIES PACE – 2040 metres

ALWAYSBDREAMING – Pre-race blood sample. Driver Bruce Harpley was questioned regarding the overall performance of the filly after having a favourable run in the running line failed to run on to be beaten 44.4 metres. Mr Harpley explained the filly didn’t feel as sharp as it would normally feel in the run and it was its first run over 2040 metres and he further explained the filly had been in season during the week which may have contributed to the overall performance.

YOUDELL – Out of position at the start and was issued its last chance in the draw. Tired over the concluding stages to be beaten 69.5 metres and was issued its last chance to race truly.

THE NEEDY QUEEN – Over raced throughout the middle stages.

CARLISLE WAY – Gave ground over the concluding stages to be beaten 56.5 metres.

KARINYA SOPHIE – Driver Madi Young was fined $50 under Rule 162(1)(h) for failing to bring the filly into its position before the starting point.

MRS MAHONEY – Inconvenienced in the latter part of the score up as a result of YOUDELL being out of position.

SINFUL KISS – Pre-race blood sample.

ANGELIC COPY NZ – Post-race swab sample.

 

RACE 2 – QUICKSHINE CARWASH NSWSOA FIRST PAST THE POST BI=ONUS PACE – 1660 metres

IM ON NO SLEEP – Pre-race blood sample. Galloped out for which a warning was issued.

STRAIGHTNNARROW – Post-race swab sample.

KARINYA HAZ – Held up for clear running and was not fully tested.

LADY DELORES – Inconvenienced after the start as a result of IM ON NO SLEEP breaking gait. Held up in the home straight.

SWEET SWEET TOOTH – Inconvenienced after the start as a result of IM ON NO SLEEP breaking gait. Held up for clear running and not fully tested.

 

RACE 3 – LANGLANDS HANLON AWN NSWSOA FIRST PAST THE POST BONUS PACE – 1660 metres

A LIL BIT OF LOVE – Pre-race blood sample. Hung out in the score up and broke gait resulting in a false start being declared for which a warning was issued.

GET UP BETTY – Hung out under pressure marginally inconveniencing WARRAWEE CRUZIN.

KING BOBBY – Post-race swab sample.

WARRAWEE CRUZIN – Inconvenienced as a result of GET UP BETTY hanging out under pressure, also contributing was the fact WARRAWEE CRUZIN was hanging in. Driver Blake Medlyn was cautioned regarding the manner in which he applied pressure to the outside rein when attempting to move WARRAWEE CRUZIN to the outside of GET UP BETTY.

JESSEJAMES SHANNON – Over raced and raced roughly approaching the 1200 metres.

 

RACE 4 – DEANS HYDRAULICS PACE – 2040 metres

TULHURST TIMMY – Pre-race blood sample.

RIVIERE – Post-race swab sample.

WOKKA ROCK – Approaching the 1200 metres when over racing appeared to choke down before breaking gait and being retired from the event and will now be required to perform one requalifying trial. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities.

 

RACE 5 – COACHMAN HOTEL 3YO PACE – 2040 metres

MAJOR DISASTER – Pre-race blood sample.

WICKED STRIKE – Checked form the 500 metres until the early part of the home straight when being held up behind DETANGLED which was giving ground. Failed to gain clear running in the home straight until inside the final 100 metres.

ROCKNROLL BLING – Pre-race blood sample. post-race swab sample.

 

RACE 6 – C & S STOCKFEEDS PACE – 1660 metres

RIVERINA FLASH – A pre and post-race veterinary examination was conducted due to the horse having competed in excess of 200 race starts. Both examinations failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.

SURFIN AT MIDNIGHT – Pre-race blood sample. Passing the 350 metres hung in slightly placing CALM REASON into restricted room.

ALTIANO – Rounding the first turn became unbalanced and broke gait for which a warning was issued.

DESIDERIO - A pre and post-race veterinary examination was conducted due to the horse having competed in excess of 200 race starts. Both examinations failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities. Became unbalanced and broke gait for which a warning was issued. Driver Owen Shea’s left foot slipped from the sulky rest shortly after the start when driving his gelding forward and he was advised to ensure his sulky is set up in the correct manner in future. Checked approaching the 300 metres as a result of CALM REASON breaking gait.

LIMBO LENNY – Driver Phoebe Betts was issued a reprimand under Rule 163(1)(a)(iii) for causing interference, in that approaching the final turn she has permitted the gelding to shift wider on the track when not sufficiently clear of LINE ME UP BRO NZ causing that runner to be inconvenienced. Post-race swab sample.

LINE ME UP BRO NZ – Inconvenienced on the home turn as a result of LIMBO LENNY shifting wider on the track.

CALM REASON – Approaching the 350 metres was placed into restricted room as a result of SURFIN AT MIDNIGHT hanging in slightly and as a result contacted marker pegs and was checked and broke.

RACE 7 – PARKES LEAGUES CLUB PACE – 1660 metres

ULTIMATE COOKIE – Post-race swab sample.

BURRABADINE STORM – Approaching the 1300 metres was checked and raced roughly when KIA ORA LOU broke gait.

CLEARY – Broke in the score up and was out of position at the start taking no competitive part in the event and as a result will now be excluded from the mobile barrier draw.

TEE SWIFT – Held up in the final 50 metres for clear running.

KI ORA LOU – Pre-race blood test. Approaching the 1300 metres commenced to over race before contacting the sulky of JUSTAQUICKSCHOONER which was racing in advance of the mare and as a result broke gait. In view of the recent record of the mare, KIA ORA LOU will now be required to perform one requalifying trial.

 

RACE 8 – DWYER CONTRACTING PACE – 1660 metres

LOOKOUT NZ – Held up for clear running in the home straight and not fully tested.

BODELETOS – Pre-race blood sample. Shifted out under pressure in the home straight. Post-race swab sample.

SERGEANT STRINGER – Held up in the early stages of the home straight before obtaining a run to the inside of PYEKAKARIKI inside the final 100 metres.

 

RACE 9 – GRENFELL COMMODITIES PACE – 1660 metres

BURRABADINE AUSTIN – Pre-race blood sample. Broke after the start and will now be excluded from the mobile barrier draw.

LAMNA NASUS – Rounding the final turn was tightened as a result of BABY EL AY hanging in under pressure.

BABY EL AY – Inconvenienced at the 1550 metres as a result of BURRABADINE AUSTIN breaking gait. Hung in under pressure rounding the final turn placing LAMNA NASUS into restricted room.

LUCKY IN AMERICA – Checked passing the 1550 metres as a result of BURRABADINE AUSTIN breaking gait.

MAMMALS DUDLEY – raced roughly approaching the 600 metres and again when under pressure.

ARMA BITABLING – At the request of connections will now be reincluded into the mobile barrier draw.

 

RACE 10 – THE TAB APP PACE – 1660 metre

WATCH AND WEEP - A pre and post-race veterinary examination was conducted due to the gelding having not started for in excess of 12 months. Both examinations failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities. Pre-race blood sample. Shortly after rounding the final turn was placed into restricted room as a result of BROOKLYN BANDIT hanging in under pressure.

ROOBEE – Rounding the final turn was tightened and contacted marker pegs as a result of ROCK QUEEN shifting down the track.

ORANGE FEVER – Over raced when racing outside the leader.

GABBYS SPORTSTAR - A pre and post-race veterinary examination was conducted due to the gelding having competed in excess of 200 race starts. Both examinations failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities. Post-race swab sample.

ROCK QUEEN – Driver Mark Hewitt was issued a reprimand under Rule 163(1)(a)(iii) for causing interference, in that he permitted his mare to shift down the track when not sufficiently clear of ROOBEE causing that runner to be tightened and contact marker pegs.

BROOKLYN BANDIT – Rounding the final turn hung in under pressure placing WATCH AND WEEP into restricted room.
