An announcement was made prior to the commencement of the meeting that mudguards would be required to be fitted to all sulkies.
RACE 1 –MENANGLE PARK COMMUNITY TROTTERS MOBILE – 1609 metres
The start was delayed owing to Ballarat Thoroughbreds Race 1 running behind schedule.
JINAN – Held up to clear racing in the early stages of the home straight before gaining clear running leaving the 300m.
ONE PINEVALE HILL – Post-race sample.
ISLAND FRANKIE – Pre-race sample. Galloped out after the start and a warning was issued against the barrier manners of the gelding.
PRINCESS DU FER – Galloped clear of interference in the vicinity of the 1200m. A warning was issued against the racing manners of the mare. Trailed the field for the remainder.
VULCAN STRIDE – Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations due to not having started in a race since June 2025. Neither examination revealed any abnormalities. Re-included back in the mobile barrier draw.
RACE 2 – FARMER JOES OUTLET TROTTERS MOBILE – 1609 metres
ORIA – A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare to be suffering a unilateral nosebleed in the right nostril. Acting upon this evidence the mare was stood down until the completion of one satisfactory trial under Rule 101(B).
LAST CLANSMAN – Trainer KA Morris was fined $50 under Rule 210 for the late driving notification of J Gallagher as the driver of the gelding.
AFFAIRE DE COVER – Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations due to the gelding starting in excess of 200 race starts. Neither examination revealed any abnormalities.
VALLEY STAR NZ – Began to give ground leaving the 600m to eventually tire from the race beaten 72m. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. Connections were advised that VALLEY STAR NZ would be stood down until the completion of one satisfactory trial.
ITZFERGIETIME – Pre-race sample. Galloped away from the mobile barrier and a warning was issued. Trailed the field throughout.
LOTUS LOUISE – Post-race sample.
RACE 3 – IRT HORSE TRANSPORT PACE – 1609 metres
KING COREY – Pre-race sample.
TOMMYS LUCK – Trainer C Britton was fined $50 under Rule 210 for the late driving notification of Z Fitzpatrick as the driver of the gelding.
SEE ME NO MORE – Post-race sample.
I AM RAVISHING – Held up for clear racing over the final 400m and unable to be fully tested in the run to the finish.
RACE 4 – WOODLANDS STUD SUPPORTING THE INDUSTRY IN 2026 PACE – 1609 metres
RUEBE STARBUCK NZ – Held up for clear racing room in the early stages of the home straight.
GYM JUNKY – (8th/30m/$3.10) Driver J Callaghan advised that the colt failed to travel when leading the event and eventually became under pressure leaving the 600m. Mr Callaghan added that he was unaware of the future racing intentions from connections. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.
CENT FOR PLEASURE – Pre-race sample. Galloped after the start and a warning was issued.
DUTTON – Post-race sample.
RACE 5 – STRONGHOLD FACILITY SERVICES PACE – 1609 metres
CHARLIES ACE NZ – Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations due to the mare starting in excess of 200 race starts. Neither examination revealed any abnormalities.
OUR UNCLE JIM NZ – Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations due to the gelding starting in excess of 200 race starts. Neither examination revealed any abnormalities.

POLLY OUT KETTLEON – Held up for clear racing room in the early stages of the home straight.
RACE 6 – PRYDE’S STAMINA PACE – 1609 metres
VESPA STRIDE – Pre-race sample.
BLISSES BEST – Post-race sample. Trainer T Williams was questioned in relation to the seemly improved performance of the mare after assessing the numerical form of the BLISSES BEST. Mr Williams added that other than being disappointed with the previous start of the mare the two starts prior, there was added excuses when being checked or galloping after the start.
PARALLEL – Trainer KA Morris was fined $50 under Rule 210 for the late driving notification of herself as the driver of the gelding.
RACE 7 – BUBBA GUMP PEST CONTROL PACE – 1609 metres
LOVE A BELLE – Pre-race sample.
LOCHINVAR MARCELLO – Post-race sample.
RADIANT AMBER – Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations due to the mare starting in excess of 200 race starts. Neither examination revealed any abnormalities.
RACE 8 – SUCCESS STUD ALL YOUR HORSE BREEDING NEEDS PACE - 1609 metres
RED REACTOR NZ – Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations due to the gelding starting in excess of 200 race starts. Neither examination revealed any abnormalities.
OUTSIDE FIGHTER – Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations due to the gelding starting in excess of 200 race starts. Neither examination revealed any abnormalities.
LAYDEN – Post-race sample.
CAPTAIN KOBE NZ – Pre-race sample.
ROMANEE NZ – Held up for clear racing over the final 400m and unable to be fully tested in the run to the finish.
