RACE 1 – LITTLE WYCH PREMIUM SPELLING PACE – 1730 metres
RUNKLE – Hung inwards around the final turn contacting marker pegs.
HOPPALONGPOG – Post-race swab.
D J ROCK NZ – ($4.60) Pre-race swab. Driver Jake Bigeni was queried into the overall performance of the gelding which finished in 10th and last position beaten 15.1m after racing in a favourable running line position. Mr Bigeni advised the gelding was inconvenienced passing the 500m when shifted wider on the track at which point the gelding failed to compete in a genuine manner & provided to be disappointing.
RONZEL SONNY – Driver Jett Turnbull was spoken to the manner he shifted ground passing the 500m. Which inconvenienced D J ROCK NZ.
IM DESIRABLE– Held up and failed to gain clear running for the entire length of the home straight.
BUTTER CUP – Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations due to the gelding having started in excess of 200 race starts. Neither examination revealed any significant abnormalities.
RACE 2 –BEDWELLS FEED BARN BLENDED STOCKFEED 3YO PACE – 1730 metres
General: The start of this event was delayed one (1) minute due to TIGER JEWEL requiring to be replated.
HASTAG HECTOR – Slow out.
STAY LUCKY – Held up and failed to gain clear running for the entire length of the home straight.
BETTORS CREATION – Pre-race swab. Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations due to the gelding having not started in the preceding 12 months. Neither examination revealed any significant abnormalities. Trainer Jarrod Alchin was fined the sum of $50 under AHR Rule 268A(1) for presenting the filly in gear which was not correctly declared. Post-race swab.

RACE 3 – VALE ALLAN ROSS – 1730 metres
BETTER SHUSH – Pre-race swab & Post-race swab.
HES CHIMING – ($4.20) Driver Jett Turnbull was queried into the seemingly poor performance of the gelding which finished in 10th and last position beaten 29.3m after racing outside the leader throughout the event. Mr Turnbull advised the gelding to be extremely disappointing and could offer no explanation for the performance. Trainer Nathan Turnbull explained he would consult with connections and possibly lower the claiming price of the gelding to compete in lower grade events. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. No claims lodged.

STUDLEIGH PUNTER – Held up and failed to gain clear running for the entire length of the home straight.
FILPTOP BOTTLESHOP – Driver Nathan Turnbull was issued a reprimand for shifting ground approaching the 400m which inconvenienced TOORAM CEE CEE & RIKIBREAL to varying degrees.
RIKIBREAL – Inconvenienced passing the 400m when FILPTOP BOTTLESHOP shifted outwards.
TOORAM CEE CEE – Inconvenienced passing the 400m when FILPTOP BOTTLESHOP shifted outwards.

RACE 4– ALABAR FARMS A TRADITION OF EXCELLENCE PACE – 2260 metres
THE SWIFT ONE – Pre-race swab.
SAINT VERAN – Post-race swab
DIVINE GIRL – Hung inwards under pressure inside the final 250m. A warning was issued against DIVINE GIRL racing manners.
AUNTIE LOU – ($7.50) Driver Isobel Ross was queried into the overall performance of the mare which finished in 6th position beaten 16.9m after leading from the approaching the 1800m. Ms Ross advised she was satisfied with the overall performance as AUNTIE LOU had to endure more work than expected to obtain the lead when recording a quick lead time and the mare was rising in grade. Ms Ross added she recommended to the stable AUNTIE LOU may better severed if is driven less aggressively at the start when racing in this grade going forward.
RACE 5 – NUTRIEN GOLD CROWN SALE GRADUATE FINAL – 1730 metres
REASON TO BE HAPPY – Post-race swab.
HIGVIEW BONNIE – ($1.50 Fav) Pre-race swab. Broke gait during the early stages of the score up however was in position when the start was effected. A warning was issued against the barrier manners of HIGVIEW BONNIE. Driver Harrison Ross was queried into the seemingly poor performance of the filly which finished in 10th position beaten 46.2m after leading. Mr Ross advised the filly to be extremely disappointing and contributed the performance to the filly enduring work during the early stages of the event to obtain the lead in a quick 27.6 second first quarter and the filly failing to fully settle thereafter combined HIGVIEW BONNIE having three (3) consecutive starts over the past three (3) weeks. Stable representative Mrs Chole Powderly for trainer Josh Powderly concurred the explanation of Mr Ross and advised HIGVIEW BONNIE would now be given a light week prior to continuing with the current preparation towards the breeder’s challenge series. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. HIGVIEW BONNIE will now be placed on its last chance to race truly.
WARRAWEE WAY BACK – Post-race swab.
HARALABOS – Stewards refrained taking any action against the gelding being out of position when the start was effected. Yielded ground from the 600m to finish in 11th and last position beaten 50.6m.
FLINCENT – Stewards refrained taking any action against the colt being out of position when the start was effected.
THE MYTEE DUCK – Pre-race swab. Stewards refrained taking any action against the colt being out of position when the start was effected. Hung outwards under pressure passing the 300m.
RACE 6 – SUCCESS STUD CELEBRATING 59 YEARS OF BREEDING PACE – 2260 metres
LUCKY PUNT – Post-race swab.
ROWLEY MINT – Yielded ground from the 600m to finish in 10th and last position beaten 52.1m.
SHE THE DEVIL – ($5.00) Driver Paula Sapio was queried into the overall performance of the mare which finished in 8th position beaten 22.6m after racing outside the leader throughout the event. Ms Sapio advised the mare to be disappointing and contributed the performance to the mare was not suited racing without cover with a consistent speed throughout the event. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.
FIRESTORM RED – Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations due to the gelding having started in excess of 200 race starts. Neither examination revealed any significant abnormalities.
SMOOTH CHAKRA – Pre-race swab.
FAKISTRA – ($3.00) Slow to score up. Driver Chloe Formosa was queried into the overall performance of the gelding which finished in 9th position beaten 38.3m after racing in a favourable one-one position throughout the event. Ms Formosa advised the gelding to be disappointing and could offer no tangible explanation for the performance. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.
RACE 7 – MOORHEAD CRANES THE FRIENDLY CRANE PEOPLE – 1730 metres

DRIVE TO THE BEACH – Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations due to the gelding having started in excess of 200 race starts. Neither examination revealed any significant abnormalities.
RACE 8 – HYNASH GROUP CIVIL CONSTRUCTION SPECIALISTS PACE – 1730 metres
MIA ON – Pre-race swab.
TERRYRAMA – Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations due to the gelding having started in excess of 200 race starts. Neither examination revealed any significant abnormalities.

HOOKED ON WINNING NZ – Driver Jason Turnbull was spoken to in regards to his whip action. Back in the mobile draw.
LIVE VANCE – Broke gait clear of interference approaching the 1300m. LIVE VANCE will now be stood down for a period of fourteen (14) days and until trialling to the satisfaction of stewards on two (2) occasions. In taking this action Stewards were mindful the gelding was stood down two (2) starts prior for displaying similar racing manners.
MADAZALWAYS – Underwent pre and post-race veterinary examinations due to the gelding having started in excess of 200 race starts. Neither examination revealed any significant abnormalities.
