RACE 1 – POSTER BOY AT LLOWALONG FARMS PACE – 2260 metres

The start was aborted for safety reasons on the first occasion when the clerk of the course horse became fractious unseating the rider.

BUTTER CUP – A pre and post-race veterinary examination as the mare has had over 200 race starts. No abnormalities were detected on either examination. Pre-race blood sample. tended to over race throughout the event. Approaching the 600 metres was checked when locking wheels with SMOOTH CHAKRA who tended to hang in.

SMOOTH CHAKRA – Approaching the 200 metres when hanging in racing under pressure, locked wheels with BUTTER CUP for a short distance.

CLEAR LEFT NZ – Gave ground over the final 400 metres to finish in 9^th and last position beaten 28.2 metres. Driver O Shea was fined $200 under Rule 156(2)(a) when applying in his whip in the home straight on the final occasion has done so with more than a wrist flicking action.

PAPA JOE – Post-race swab sample.

ALTA BILLY – During the score up on the first occasion the gelding cast a front plate. As a result raced bare foot in front when the other shoe was removed. Checked between the 500 metres and 400 metres when trailing CLEAR LEFT NZ who was yielding ground.

HOLY CAMP DILLON – Held up for clear racing room until utilising the sprint lane in the home straight on the final occasion.

 

RACE 2 – BATHURST NUTRIEN SALES EMTRIES OPEN TIL 31^ST OCTOBER PACE – 2260 metres

YOTTIE – Pre-race blood sample. post-race swab sample.

NICELY SPOKEN – Driver O Shea stated with the gelding racing outside the lead over the longer distance being the reason for failing to run on over the concluding stages to finish in 10^th and last position beaten 76 metres. Considering the gelding’s overall mile rate of 1:59.8 NICELY SPOKEN will be given its last chance to race truly. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.

A TRUE LOVE – Driver M Atkinson was fined $50 under Rule 162(1)(h) for failing to have his runner in position prior to the start.

SAINT VERAN – Held up for clear racing room until the final 150 metres.

 

RACE 3 – ART MAJOR AT ALABAR FARMS WARATAH HEAT – 1730 metres

MAKE MINE MERICAN – Pre-race blood sample. tended to over race throughout the event.

 ABSOLUTE WEAPON – Despite the efforts of its driver was out of position at the start. A warning was issued.

DUFFY HOLLOW NZ – Tended to over race throughout the event.

TAKE HIS PLACE – Post-race swab sample.

ULTIMATE EQUUS – Broke stride in the early stages of the score up. A warning was issued.

CLASSIC BEESMACK – Held up for clear racing room until the final 200 metres.

 

RACE 4 – BATHURST STALLION TENDER CLOSES 30^TH SEPTEMBER PACE – 1730 metres

AUNTIE LOU – Pre-race blood sample.

HUNTER SHANNON – Post-race swab sample.

OHOKA COBRA NZ – Approaching the 300 metres tended to hang in before breaking stride. A warning was issued.

BETTING RANGER – Held up for clear racing room in the run to the finish and was not fully tested.

MIKI BE GOOD – Tended to over race throughout the event.

 

RACE 5 – NUTRIEN EQUINE NSW BREEDERS CHALLENGE 2YO COLTS AND GELDINGS HEAT ROUND 1 – 1730 metres

CAPTAIN KOSTECKI – Hung out shortly after the start. A warning was issued.

FLINCENT – Inconvenienced shortly after the start when CAPTAIN KOSTECKI hung out. Held up for clear racing room until the final 150 metres.

TRI TIME – Post-race swab sample.

IM EL ARQUERO – Pre-race blood sample. tended to hang in when racing under pressure over the final 300 metres.

SPARTAN CHIMES – Approaching the 1500 metres became unbalanced and broke stride. A warning was issued. Held up for clear racing room in the run to the finish and was not fully tested.

 

RACE 6 – NUTRIEN EQUINE NSW BREEDERS CHALLENGE FILIES HEAT ROUND 1 – 1730 metres

WALLABY WAY – Pre-race blood sample. Broke stride after the start. Considering the filly’s recent record, she will be given her last chance in the mobile barrier draw.

SHES A DELANY – Post-race swab sample.

LEXY BELLE – Driver B Hewitt was fined $50 under Rule 162(1)(h) for failing to have his runner in position prior to the start.

HARBOUR VIEW - Driver A Turnbull was fined $50 under Rule 162(1)(h) for failing to have his runner in position prior to the start.

NANGARA TULHURST - Driver A Hurst was fined $50 under Rule 162(1)(h) for failing to have his runner in position prior to the start.

 

RACE 7 – CANNIBAL AT COBBITTY EQUINE FARMS 3YO PACE – 1730 metres

BELLE ALCHERA – Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.

PROMISING MAN - A pre and post-race veterinary examination as the gelding has not started since October 2025. No abnormalities were detected on either examination. Driver J Turnbull stated the gelding over raced when contacting its own sulky throughout the event contributing to the overall performance where the gelding finished in 10^th and last position beaten 78.7 metres. The gelding will be required to requalify on one occasion. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.

ROCKNROLLEM – Driver J Hewitt was questioned on his tactics between the 1400 metres and the 1100 metres when racing in the running line, he lost his position to stablemate REDEMPTION MISS when that runner shifted down at the 1200 metres. He stated the gelding been relative inexperienced tends to mix it`s gear if driven aggressively in the initial stages. He further added there was some distance to the horse in advance passing the 1250 metres allowing REDEMPTION MISS to fill the position in advance of his runner. His comments were noted but Mr Hewitt was advised to drive in a competitive manner which is not a concern to stewards Held up for clear racing room until the final 200 metres.

 

RACE 8 – DOWNER BATHURST AND ASPHALT PLANT PACE – 2260 metres

SPECIAL SPIN – Post-race swab sample.

SWEET SWEET TOOTH – Tended to over race throughout the event.

ZACHARY SHANNON – Pre-race blood sample.

TERRYRAMA - A pre and post-race veterinary examination as the gelding has had over 200 race starts. No abnormalities were detected on either examination. became unbalanced and broke stride at the 1800 metres. Furthermore, the gelding then raced roughly at the 500 metres for a short distance. a warning was placed on the gelding’s racing manners.

FESTINALENTE – Tended to over race throughout the event.

HOOKED ON WINNING NZ – At the request of connections the gelding will be placed back in the mobile barrier draw in future starts.

 

RACE 9 – NIJINSKY AT YIRRIBEE PACING STUD PACE – 1730 metres

ESTHER RISING – Tired over the final 300 metres to finish in 10^th and last position beaten 49.5 metres. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.

STUDLEIGH SUNRISE – Pre-race blood sample.

LETTUCE GO MIKI – Held up for clear racing room until the final 150 metres.

CHANCEAUX – Post-race swab sample.

 

RACE 10 – DOWNLOAD THE TAB APP TODAY PACE – 2260 metres

MARABELLE –  Shift out under pressure before the outside sulky wheel was contacted by CAM I AM at the 150 metres. Inquiry was adjourned to a date to be fixed

JASPERSTIMETOSHINE – Severely checked and fell when contacting the sulky of CAM I AM who had already fell. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have suffered lacerations to both knees, shoulder and hip. As the gelding was treated by the oncourse veterinarian, JASPERSTIMETOSHINE was stood down for 10 days and must also submit a veterinary clearance prior to racing.

ADERFAKI – Tended to over race throughout the event. Inconvenienced at the 150 metres when shifting wider to avoid JASPERSTIMETOSHINE who had fell.

BABLING BABLING – Shortly after the start hung out, inconvenienced and raced roughly for a short distance.

CALM REASON – Pre-race blood sample. hung in shortly after the start.

A TRUE PHENOMENON – Post-race swab sample.

CAM I AM – Approaching the 150 metres was placed in restricted racing room before contacting the sulky of MARABELLE, breaking stride and falling. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have lacerations to both front knees. As the gelding was treated by the oncourse veterinarian, CAM I AM was stood down for 10 days and must submit a veterinary clearance before racing . Driver T Glazebrook was examined by the oncourse paramedics before being transported by NSW Ambulance to Orange hospital for further examination. Mr Glazebrook will require a medical clearance prior to driving in races or trials. Inquiry was adjourned to a date to fixed.

GRANT FOR LEXY – Approaching the 150 metres was checked and broke when shifting to the inside of CAM I AM who had fell. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have bled from one nostril. Acting under rule 101B, the gelding will be stood down for one requalifying trial.
