RACE 1 – QUAYLE MILLING PACE – 1720 metres

ARKLOW – Inconvenienced approaching the 400 metres when it appeared the pace slightly came out of the event. Held up in the early stages of the home straight before gaining clear running approaching the 75 metres.

ALTIANO – Approaching the 400 metres was inconvenienced as the pace came out of the event at which stage CHOCOLATE DELIGHT contacted and flattened the near side sulky wheel of that runner. Held up for clear running in the home straight and was not fully tested.

STARS ABROAD – Raced roughly on the first turn.

CALM REASON – Held up for clear running in the home straight and not fully tested.

LINE ME UP BRO NZ – Pre-race blood sample. post-race swab sample.

CHOCOLATE DELIGHT – Approaching the 400 metres was inconvenienced as the pace came out of the race and contacted and flattened the near side sulky wheel of ALTIANO.

DUSTY MUSTER – Held up for clear running in the home straight and not fully tested.

SPARTAN SHIELD – Fractious in the score up for which a warning was issued. Trainer/Driver Jeff Brown was questioned regarding the overall performance and the early driving tactics on the gelding. Mr Brown stated SPARTAN SHIELD was over racing shortly after the start while racing three wide and he elected to drive the gelding forward to a position outside the leader, however from that point on while SPARTAN SHIELD did settle was disappointing over the concluding stages before being beaten 27.1 metres. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities.

 

RACE 2 – CHERRY CUP FRIDAY 13^TH NOVEMBER LADYSHIP PACE – 1720 metres

ELLENS DELIGHT – Broke in the score up for which a warning was issued. Over raced throughout the event.

TULHURST PEBBLES – Pre-race blood sample. post-race swab sample.

 

RACE 3 – YOUNG SERVICES CLUB PACE – 1720 metres

ROSES ARE BEST – Post-race swab sample.

COMPLICATED – Pre-race blood sample.

MAISIELOUISA – Driver Jason Turnbull was fined $200 under Rule 156(2)(a) for using his whip in more than a wrist only flicking motion over the concluding stages.

GLAMOUR FOX – Pre-race blood sample. hung in on the final turn.

HUDSON RIVER – Broke after the start for which a warning was issued.

WALLY BLASTER – Hung in throughout the final lap.

 

RACE 4 – AUSTRALIAN HOTEL PACE – 1720 metres

CAPTAIN TIDS – Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.

LOCHINVAR COOGEE – Pre-race blood sample.

JAKRYAN – Hung in on the first turn and contacted marker pegs.

WARRAWEES SHOUT – At the request of connections will now be reincluded into the mobile barrier draw.

 

RACE 5 – HILLTOPS EQUINE CENTRE 3YO PACE – 1720 metres

MADDIE – Galloped out for which a warning was issued.

BIG FROST – Pre-race blood sample. Inconvenienced passing the 350 metres when MISTER DEPENDABLE veered out.

MISTER DEPENDABLE – When racing outside the leader approaching the 350 metres veered out. In view of the overall racing manners of the gelding will now be required to perform one requalifying trial.  A post-race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities.

TRIPLE THREAT – Checked after the start when MADDIE broke gait.

TULHURST BARRACUDA – Inconvenienced after the start as a result of MADDIE breaking gait. Post-race swab sample.

SEND IT SAM – Passing the 400 metres when commencing to improve to the inside of MISTER DEPENDABLE at the same time TULHURST BARRACUDA was shifting away from the marker line and SEND IT SAM was inconvenienced.

FLUGSKEID – Broke in the score up and was out of position at the start and will be continued outside the draw in mobile starts. Raced roughly between the 850 metres and the 750 metres and also again raced roughly under pressure. In view of the gelding’s recent record FLUGSKEID will now be required to perform one requalifying trial.

 

RACE 6 – YOUNG CELLARS 3YO FILLIES PACE – 1720 metres

ALWAYSBDREAMING – Post-race swab sample.

BROOKLYNS GEM – Pre-race blood sample.

REDEMPTION MISS – Broke rounding the first turn for which a warning was issued. Held up in the early part of the home straight until approaching the 75 metres.

YOUDELL – Inconvenienced on the first turn as a result of REDEMPTION MISS breaking gait.

NAVARLIES DREAM – inconvenienced on the first turn as a result of REDEMPTION MISS breaking gait.

IM STARVING – Held up over the concluding stages and not fully tested.

 

RACE 7 – RIVERINA STOCKFEEDS 2YO FILLIES PACE – 1720 metres

VALENTINE GIRL – Approaching the first turn contacted marker pegs. Hung out under pressure approaching the 75 metres. Inconveniencing ELEANOR STREET.

NAES GOT CLASS – Hung out after the start into ROCK THE JET and approaching the first turn whilst still racing inside ROCK THE JET that filly also hung in slightly resulting in NAES GOT CLASS contacting the sulky of ROCK THE JET and was checked and broke gait. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the filly to be mildly lame in the offside pastern as well as some small abrasions. Acting on veterinary advice the filly will now be stood down for a period of 7 days and until a clear veterinary certificate is provided.

NOOGALEEK OFFKILTA – Checked on the first turn as a result of NAES GOT CLASS breaking gait. Approaching the 500 metres was checked and raced roughly when OUR CHARLI GIRL was shifting wider on the track. Inconvenienced approaching the 200 metres when ROCK THE JET was giving ground.

ROCK THE JET – Broke in the score up and caused a false start for which a warning was issued. Approaching the first turn when racing in a three wide position raced roughly before hanging in slightly having its sulky contacted by NAES GOT CLASS and was inconvenienced. Gave ground over the concluding stages to be beaten 58.2 metres. When questioned regarding the overall performance of the filly, Trainer/Driver Jackson Painting explained after the incident on the first turn his filly never travelled well however was disappointing over the concluding stages.

TULHURST POSTERGAL – Checked and broke on the first turn. Approaching the 600 metres became unbalanced and broke gait. Will now be required to perform one requalifying trial.

SURPRISE ARRIVAL – Checked on the first turn as a result of NAES GOT CLASS breaking gait.

YOUR SHUFFLE – Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.

OUR CHARLI GIRL – Driver Nathan Townsend plead guilty to a charge under Rule 163(1)(a)(iii) for causing interference in that approaching the 500 metres he has allowed OUR CHARLI GIRL to shift wider on the track when not sufficiently clear of NOOGALEEK OFFKILTA causing that runner to be checked and race roughly. Driver Nathan Townsend had his licence to drive in races suspended for a period of 14 days to commence midnight 29 September 2026. In assessing penalty, Stewards considered Mr Townsend’s plea, record in relation to the rule and the circumstances of this incident.

ELEANOR STREET – Approaching the 75 metres was inconvenienced as a result of VALENTINE GIRL hanging out under pressure.

 

RACE 8 – DONGES IGA 2YO COLTS AND GELIDNGS PACE – 1720 metres

MACH ROUGE – Post-race swab sample.

NUGGETGOTAREASON – Rounding the first turn hung in placing EZZRA into restricted room causing that runner to be checked and broke. In regard to its racing manners, NUGGETGOTAREASON was issued a warning.

THE BIG RIG – Broke after the start and will now be excluded from the mobile barrier draw. Approaching the 700 metres veered up the track.

BIG NELSON – Pre-race blood sample.

KING OF WAMBOYNE – Checked on the first turn as a result of EZZRA breaking gait. Failed to run on over the concluding stages to be beaten 53.4 metres.

ALABAMA DUSTY – Checked on the first turn as a result of EZZRA breaking gait.

MAMMALS DUDLEY – Out of position at the start and issued its last chance in the draw.

TYPHOON LENNY – Out of position at the start and was issued its last chance in the draw.

HARD MERCHANDISE – Pre-race blood sample. checked after the start as a result of THE BIG RIG breaking gait.

 

RACE 9 – TAB VENUE MODE PACE – 1720 metres

LIMOUSINE LOCKET – Underwent a pre and post-race veterinary examination due to the mare having not started for in excess of 12 months. Both examinations failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities. Broke twice during the event. Firstly rounding the first turn and again approaching the 300 metres for which the mare will be required to perform one requalifying trial.

NOT MY JOB – Checked approaching the 700 metres as a result of A CLASS APART breaking gait.

LIGHTNING MY QUEEN – Declared a late scratching at 9.08pm. After undergoing a pre-race veterinary examination it was found the mare to have a suspected foot abscess in the near hoof. Acting on veterinary advice, LIGHTNING MY MCQUEEN will now be stood down for a period of 10 days and a veterinary clearance.

ROCK WHAT YOU ARE – Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.

A CLASS APART – Over raced throughout the event. Approaching the 700 metres was checked and broke as a result of the pace coming out of the event slightly and A CLASS APART contacting the sulky of ROCK WHAT YOU ARE.

TINNYSMEDAD – Checked approaching the 700 metres as a result of A CLASS APART breaking gait.

ANDERSITE – Post-race swab sample.

THINK IT BLING – At the request of connections will now be reincluded into the mobile barrier draw.
