RACE 2 – NIJINSKY STANDING AT YIRRIBEE STUD PACE – 1740 metres

BONJORGE - Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.

OLE CHESTER – After racing outside the leader gave ground to be beaten 26.8 metres.

THE KID BILLY – Held up in the early stages of the home straight before gaining clear running approaching the 170 metres.

 

RACE 3 – BOOTS CIVIL PACE – 1740 metres

ROLL THE ACES – Held up for clear running and not fully tested.

THE DEMOCRAT - Underwent a pre and post-race veterinary examination due to the gelding having had over 200 race starts. Both examinations failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.

VILLAGE AREA – Tired over the concluding stages to be beaten 167 metres. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have sustained atrial fibrillation and acting under the provisions of Rule 101C(2)(a), VILLAGE AREA will be stood down for a period of 14 days, an ECG, 1 trial and a veterinary certificate.

DIDNT I - Underwent a pre and post-race veterinary examination due to the mare having had over 200 race starts. Both examinations failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.

PLUTOPHOBIA – At the all clear Driver Jackson Painting indicated his intention to view the vision of the concluding stages, after viewing the films Mr Painting was satisfied to take no further action and the All Clear was given on the judges numbers. Rounding the first turn hung out and raced roughly. Approaching the 100 metres hung out under pressure and locked wheels with NINE and was checked. In view of the geldings overall racing manners, PLUTOPHOBIA will be placed on its last chance to race truly.

THE GREAT WAVE – Broke during the score up for which a warning was issued.

ELIZAJANE – Driver Tasmyn Potter was fined $50 under Rule 162(1)(j) for failing to maintain her position behind the mobile barrier until the starting point.

 

RACE 6 – NUTRIEN EQUINE NSW BREEDERS CHALLENGE 3YO COLTS AND GELDINGS HEAT – ROUND 1 – 1740 metres

RACE 7 – NUTRIEN EQUINE NSW BREEDERS CHALLENGE 3YO FILLIES HEAT – ROUND 1 – 1740 metres

SEASIDE BOULEVARD - Pre-race blood sample. Held up early before gaining clear running passing the 200 metres.

EYE WISH – Post-race swab sample.

 

RACE 8 – TASCO PETROLEUM PACE – 1740 metres

KIA ORA BEAUTY - Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.

IN THE SUMMERTIME NZ – Driver Eli Lepper was queried regarding the performance of the gelding after tiring over the concluding stages to be beaten 44.6 metres. Mr Leper stated racing outside the leader in a fast last half of 55.2 seconds contributed to the overall performance. In view of the performance, Stewards issued IN THE SUMMERTIME NZ a warning. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities.

ALABAMA LIONESS – Broke after the start and veered inwards for which a warning was issued.

PUKUNUI BEACH NZ - Driver Haylee Day was fined $50 under Rule 162(1)(j) for failing to maintain her position behind the mobile barrier until the starting point. Inconvenienced after the start as a result of ALABAMA LIONESS breaking gait.

KAITOA - Driver Mikayla Towers was fined $50 under Rule 162(1)(j) for failing to maintain her position behind the mobile barrier until the starting point. Inconvenienced after the start as a result of ALABAMA LIONESS breaking gait.

 

RACE 9 – NORTH SHORE CAFE PACE – 2270 metres

KEAYANG JIGSAW - Pre-race blood sample. Broke during the score up and was given its last chance in the mobile barrier draw. Hung in under pressure and raced roughly rounding the final turn.

RUDIMENTARY – Passing the 200 metres locked wheels with WHERE BACK momentarily and was checked.

RACE 10 – WAGGA TRADESMAN ACCOUNTING SERVICES PACE – 1740 metres

BUSINESS IN HEAVEN – Held up in the early stages before gaining clear running approaching the 150 metres.

IMA BOXA - Pre-race blood sample. Broke gait after the start for which a warning was issued.

MIKE ROSS NZ – Inconvenienced after the start after IMA BOXA broke gait.
